No it wasn't self-applied. The only thing self-applied was the term Tea Party and Tea Partier.

you're gonna have to sift through a ton of material to prove that. I'd have to as well. The truth is, we're both working from memory. I remember very clearly some organizer of one of the smaller, regional tea-party outfits (part of the astroturf movement, if you will) using the term "teabaggers."

You remember no such thing. So there we are.

Now, sure, there's no real reason why you must take my word for it. Or I yours. But I"m telling you...teabaggers! Funny. :)

Not really. I can provide a ton of evidence showing the mainstream media using the term teabagger or teabagging. You can't provide even one instance where a Tea Party representative used that term to describe themselves. Simply put, you're premise in incorrect. Or you're lying. Either way, you're wrong.

I must say I don't much care for your calling me a liar...even in the coy way you've tried to do it here. But moving on:

Here's Jay Nordlinger...conservative writer for National Review Online. He doesn't much like liberals, and he doesn't much care for the epithet "teabagger."

But he admits conservatives unwittingly started it.

He's wrong. The sign he points to as evidence is from the end of September. The epithet teabagger was a term being thrown around by the mainstream media during the late winter, early spring. That's a fact. You may be unaware of this, and he may be as well.

The Anderson Cooper video I posted isf from April 15, 2009. But it started even earlier then that. Along time before your September and December reference.

No. You must not have read the article very carefully. The sign (actually, two different ones) are from April 15. So either the Anderson Cooper incident and this one were purely coincidental...or the cosnervatives initiated the term, which was quickly grabbed by Cooper on the same day.

As for the others...the "tea bag taxes" website isn't dated, is it? Maybe it is, but I can't find it, beyond "2009."

And that FOX news video certainly is not as late as December. Or September.

Are you inventing these "facts" out of thin air?

Prove it.

Shady and his Time Machine. Considering the post is from September (time stamp is on it if you actually clicked and read anything you called lies) it is impossible it is from December. Unless he had that time Machine Shady keeps accusing people he doesn't agree with too have.

"Obama went back in time to ruin the Bush Presidency, Clinton went forward in time too help him. Carter went back in time caused WW2" we get it Shady you are either really bad with dates or are lying an awful lot.

I do find it odd that the left, and particularly well-known gays like Cooper and Maddow, are finding such amusement from insulting their opponents in terms of being homosexual.

{shouldn't they append each reference to "teabagging" with the obligatory Seinfeld "Not that there's anything wrong with that"?}

I think it's because the majority of people who support the tea party movement are homophobic or at least anti gay. Shady for examples thinks that gay people are broken, and should be fixed. I think it's meant to be ironic.

Teabagging is not necessarily a gay thing. I think it's just fun to say.

Tea bagging isn't a homosexual thing you know that right? It can be and is done between and man and woman as well. I think it is a bit offensive you think it is a "homosexual thing". Stereotype much?

That isn't true at all.

Yes, it is true, there are many anti gay people in the far right, and yes, you have said that gay people should be fixed. We were discussion whether or not being gay was genetic, and so you said that one day they would find a genetic link and be able to correct it.

I love how Shady posts a tea party member shouting at republicans about how much he hates gays too prove that they don't hate gays. LOL CPAC isn't the tea party Shady, it isn't even the republican party is a select number of Republican members. Remember the top two winners of the CPAC straw poll in 2008? Mccain and Romney who took over 70% of the vote while. The tea party hates these guys and hates CPAC. Stop with the lying please.

You said the majority. It's not the majority. That's your prejudice.

, and yes, you have said that gay people should be fixed. We were discussion whether or not being gay was genetic, and so you said that one day they would find a genetic link and be able to correct it.

I didn't say that gay people should be fixed. Again, you're lying about things that I've said. Yes, I said that gay people don't choose to be gay, they're born that way. Since when is saying that a bad thing? And I said that eventually, like with other things, medical science will probably isolate the reason why people are gay, and probably be able to "fix" it. There are already certain things that medical science can treat before a baby is born. It's a question society is going to have to face in the future.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it was a majority. In fact, I'd be very surprised if it wasn't.

So you didn't say that...except when you did. How you can say that doesn't say you think gay people should be fixed is beyond reason, which would be par for the course for you, I suppose....of course, I doubt most people that support the tea party would agree with you. They don't believe in science.

Shady will ignore this as he does all things that show he is bending the truth too his will but I will post it anyway. Poll done last week with only Republicans.

Should openly gay men and women be allowed to teach in public schools?

Yes 8%

No 73%

Not Sure 19%

Yep again Shady is wrong people are all about hating gays in the Republican party.

Teabagging has nothing specifically to do with being homosexual.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it was a majority. In fact, I'd be very surprised if it wasn't.

And I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if the majority of leftists in Canada were really communists. See, we can both throw around unprovable personal opinions.

No, I asked a question. I'm not sure if you're aware, but there are already several prenatal tests available for parents who wish to screen their unborn child for various genetic abnormalities. Eventually, one of those is going to be for homosexuality. What do we do when this is available and treatable? It's a serious question. Just like cloning and other genetic engineering dilemmas. I'm sorry if that situation makes you uncomfortable.

Again Shady ignoring real evidence I post in the form of a poll so that he can create fake evidence and pretend his pretend world is real.

Go post your DailyKos polls somewhere else. I don't respond to propaganda. This is the last time I'm telling you.
