bloodyminded Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 No it wasn't self-applied. The only thing self-applied was the term Tea Party and Tea Partier. you're gonna have to sift through a ton of material to prove that. I'd have to as well. The truth is, we're both working from memory. I remember very clearly some organizer of one of the smaller, regional tea-party outfits (part of the astroturf movement, if you will) using the term "teabaggers." You remember no such thing. So there we are. Now, sure, there's no real reason why you must take my word for it. Or I yours. But I"m telling you...teabaggers! Funny. Shady Posted February 23, 2010 Author Report Posted February 23, 2010 you're gonna have to sift through a ton of material to prove that. Not really. I can provide a ton of evidence showing the mainstream media using the term teabagger or teabagging. You can't provide even one instance where a Tea Party representative used that term to describe themselves. Simply put, you're premise in incorrect. Or you're lying. Either way, you're wrong. Quote

No. You must not have read the article very carefully. The sign (actually, two different ones) are from April 15. So either the Anderson Cooper incident and this one were purely coincidental...or the cosnervatives initiated the term, which was quickly grabbed by Cooper on the same day. As for the others...the "tea bag taxes" website isn't dated, is it? Maybe it is, but I can't find it, beyond "2009." And that FOX news video certainly is not as late as December. Or September. punked Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Prove it. Shady and his Time Machine. Considering the post is from September (time stamp is on it if you actually clicked and read anything you called lies) it is impossible it is from December. Unless he had that time Machine Shady keeps accusing people he doesn't agree with too have. "Obama went back in time to ruin the Bush Presidency, Clinton went forward in time too help him. Carter went back in time caused WW2" we get it Shady you are either really bad with dates or are lying an awful lot. Quote
kimmy Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 I do find it odd that the left, and particularly well-known gays like Cooper and Maddow, are finding such amusement from insulting their opponents in terms of being homosexual. -k {shouldn't they append each reference to "teabagging" with the obligatory Seinfeld "Not that there's anything wrong with that"?} Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)

Shady Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 Yes, it is true, there are many anti gay people in the far right You said the majority. It's not the majority. That's your prejudice. , and yes, you have said that gay people should be fixed. We were discussion whether or not being gay was genetic, and so you said that one day they would find a genetic link and be able to correct it. I didn't say that gay people should be fixed. Again, you're lying about things that I've said. Yes, I said that gay people don't choose to be gay, they're born that way. Since when is saying that a bad thing? And I said that eventually, like with other things, medical science will probably isolate the reason why people are gay, and probably be able to "fix" it. There are already certain things that medical science can treat before a baby is born. It's a question society is going to have to face in the future. Quote

punked Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Shady will ignore this as he does all things that show he is bending the truth too his will but I will post it anyway. They don't believe in science. No, I asked a question. I'm not sure if you're aware, but there are already several prenatal tests available for parents who wish to screen their unborn child for various genetic abnormalities. Eventually, one of those is going to be for homosexuality. What do we do when this is available and treatable? It's a serious question. Just like cloning and other genetic engineering dilemmas.
