Someone in TO. is paying both these guys ,160,000 per guy to TALK? Well, we know Bush can't talk and that Clinton can talk and should have been a car sales. Again, Canadian security has let Bush in, even though he has a arrest record, but there are tickets to be bought. I would think there are going to be more people outside protesting than inside listening!

I really wish I had heard about this event before yesterday. I would have gone forsure. It's not often you get to attend an event and get to hear two former Presidents speak. Damn!

It would have been great - we could have heard about Monica's weapon of mass distruction..

Apparently Canadians are more concerned about having to use a passport for US entry (just like most other countries). Clinton and Bush claimed ignorance on the matter...let Obama worry about it!

Why is this such a big deal?

Because businesses in communities near the border are worried about losing their livelihood from Canadian cross-border shoppers. Otherwise, I don't think anybody cares much at all.

I think it is a big deal for the border town people who normally wouldn't get a passport because they don't go anywhere else. They are also worried business will suffer because border town Americans might not get a passport to come to our casinos, sporting events, or whatever...

It will also affect those in Canada with permanent residence... now they will likely need a visa (depending on where they come from) along with their home passport - before they might have got away with just a driver's license.

I personally don't care, because I always keep a valid passport - I need to keep my options open in case I ever commit a serious offense! ;-)

I swear to drunk I'm not god.

Right....if presenting at another nation's border, having a valid passport is not too much to ask.

Jeeez when I was a kid - you could just wheel across the boarder like you owned the place..even as a hippy type - I could hitch hike across...I guess being a blonde white kid was helpful. Now with our liberal let anyone in that sheds tears or who has a 100 thousand bucks immigration policy - America's northern boarder is under threat - but the southern boarder is not. Mexicans and Saudi nationals look the same to me - I suppose the Americans can tell the difference - all Italians - Jews - blacks - and whites look that same to me - does that make me a bad person? Bush and Clinton - I really can not tell the difference between the two - are they twins? I did hear for a very unreasonable source (me) that Clinton has declared all Poles - terrorists - must have been the trama he suffered under Monica Lewinsky...poor man - "I did not have sex with that woman" and "Saddam has got a whole big pile of WMDs" So we need a valid passport to get into the states - but the Americans are welcome if they are convicted liars? Canada loves liars.

AND FURTHER MORE: Why would Canadians pay big money to hear Clinton and Bush spew off from the mouth? I don't get it - neither of them are capable of telling the truth - why are common liars suddenly heros and experts? I guess being a liar is the new normal - and honour is granted to anyone who can pull off a scam big time..?

Clinton certainly has a silver tongue just like Obama, and I believe he didn't have to rely on the teleprompter as much.A silver tongue and charisma,a winning combination for a left-wing politician.I wonder how many woman Clinton will have lined up for this visit?

Beware the Brookfield industrial complex...

A vaudville tap dance song and dance routine - "Hello - Im Bill ----and I am George - and we are liars" how about a 165 grand a piece for listening to us? Bizzare!

I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, but in Ontario, you can use the new coded driver's license, which will cost more than the regular license.

You're correct. You can get an enhanced licence that is $40 extra.

It hasn't been demanded before. Now it is. Some will comply and get a passport. Other will just make other plans. I think it's a shame personally. Considering that the only known terrorist to cross the border was tipped-off to US customs by CSIS and apprehended, it seems a shame that cousins now need a secret handshake to meet.

We use to be neighbours who could camp on each other's lawn without any fuss. Now we've gotta jump some hoops. It's too bad really. But life is a temporary state where only the circumstances change.

Fraud - fear controls the people - first terror - now some pig flu - what next? The sky is falling?

Back to the core of the Bush - Clinton speaking tour - why do people want to listen dis-honourable men who are proven to be liars? I don't get it? I could see listening to the two dorks for free - but paying to hear someone who can not be trusted fully - what benefit can it provide - other than training up and coming executives on how to be grand liars - and in twenty years bail the bastards out.

Well, would you pay $229 - $500 to listen to Martin and Chretien? Monica Lewinsky wouldn't.
