Shady Posted March 28, 2009 Author Report Posted March 28, 2009 Although I was pointing out he supports Obama. Yes, in March of 2008, he supported Obama. And as of now, he cautiously continues his support. despite his own litany of grievances, headlined by what he describes as Obama's idiotic stimulus package. Did you hear that? IDIOTIC STIMULUS PACKAGE! He also has grievances with Obama's tax policy, Obama's latest government spending bill, his proposed healthcare policy, and his overall economic strategy. Do you still call that support? He sounds like a member of the ever-growing list of the Obama buyer's remorse group. The kind of people you see on television, or read in newspapers or online, who begin their critiques with, "I really like Obama.......but." Quote

ironstone Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 Funny the left seems to be asking the same questions. Where is the truth? Considering the media is trying to drum controversy over Obama where there is none (Teleprompter, why did it take 2 days to have a press conference, birth certificates, blah blah blah need I go on? The netroots has to police them as they ask dumb and dumber questions of him. Where is the truth. I would also like to make the point that, comparing Obama to Stalin a guy who killed 20 million people just makes you look silly August. Obama is not Stalin and I am no longer even going to address that point because it belittles those who died under that dictator. I think you should retract that less offend those who suffered under forced obedience. Did you know that George W.Bush was quite popular in countries that were once under control of the former Soviet Union....yes,those that suffered under forced obedience. Either way the Ciao institute was a huge part of GWB policies and getting us into the mess. Infact they were pretty much in charge of making shit up for GWB to make it look sounds. GostHacked Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Stats? I think you miss the main point. The people who support Obama (like you) blindly support him. Obama knows this. No one blindly supported Bush Jnr (and Bush Jnr knew this). I'd say this is wrong. If no one blindly followed Bush and Cheney, Iraq and Afghanistan may have never happened. Everyone was so glazed over from 9/11 that Bush could say anything (like Saddam and WMDs) and people eat it up. We were told to keep the course, and keep the faith that the mission will be accomplished. Bush did have his blind supporters, there are a couple on this board in fact. The next president will be even worse. Obama is just a hint of things to come. The thing is you should not question when you think something is wrong, you should be questioning all the time to keep the government in check. When your man is in power, that is where you should ask the most questions, keep the feet to the fire. Quote

Better check the Congressional voting record on that...not so blind after all. I guess the "blind supporters" were also responsible Clinton's policies in Iraq as well. "We" did not include Canada, of course. The next president will be even worse. Obama is just a hint of things to come. Worse for who...you? Topaz Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Bill Cunningham, whose friend is Hannity said on his radio program, on April 21st, ( I think at was the date), that people were going to march to DC and have their "Tea Party" like the Boston tea party to tell the Prez, they don't like what he is doing with the national debt. I wonder were these guys were when Bush was spending billions on a war? Billy said that the interest alone of the US debt is 8 Billion and that this nation is going into the sewers! Of course, most of the people who phone in are Conservatives and Republicans, and the way this guy was going on about the government spending I could see them causing riots towards the government.
