LesterDC
Mr C -I'm astounded that you don't think that the separation of church and state has been successful. Those ideas even preceded democracy. Are you looking to re-establish the monarchy as absolute rule as well ? I think Mr.Canada should consider moving to Iran.. LesterDC
It's up to me to report on what these cretons are doing. The secu-socialists are very cunning. They use the white liberal guilt stick to try and beat any opposition out of you. The secu-socialists will say anything to anybody to make the public believe their lies. These secu-socialists are in our classrooms with our kids, brainwashing them everyday, making them feel guilty for believing that Jesus Christ loves them. Little adorable Christian kids who believe that God loves them, innocent, are crushed under foot by the Godless secu-socialists who tell them what they know are all lies. These secu-socialists will stop at nothing to further their goals of a total destruction of the Christian faith, while letting other religions prosper. Make no mistake, Christianity is under siege by the secu-socialist God. Vladimir Lenin and his pal Che CHavez, wicked men. Lenin who has slaughtered Christian Children for fun. THe hammer and sickle and the red star and enemies of CHristianity. Be vigilant against this scourge, they are quick of tongue and full of cunning. Yeah right, slaughtering christian children.. I saw that today on the mean streets of Richmond Hill. We are sure hateful towards those religious folk.
Oleg Bach
Yeah right, slaughtering christian children.. I saw that today on the mean streets of Richmond Hill. We are sure hateful towards those religious folk. Hyper vigilance is a trait to be admired under the threat of attack. Slaughtering "Christain Children" reminds me of the rumors that the Nazis spread about - that the Jews were eating children. I suggest that if Mr. C is a Christian and not just nominal..he had better start acting like one instead of a chicken little. Christians stand brave and tall and quiet...It's a state of mind and a commanding presense - not screaming blue murder like a little girl who's puppy was stolen. We are sure hateful towards those religious folk. Lenin slaughtered 20 million Christians during Red Oktober millions of them children, which is what I wrote. You really need to learn how to read, you're embarrassing yourself.

I was just simply saying that there is no problem here in Canada..
Mr.Canada
Yes, but you were illustrating the demise of the Christian faith under secular governments.. I was just simply saying that there is no problem here in Canada.. The secu-socialists are constantly attacking Christianity, look at abortion and the morally wrong those are two causes the secu-socialists love to beat us with. LesterDC
The secu-socialists are constantly attacking Christianity, look at abortion and the morally wrong those are two causes the secu-socialists love to beat us with. Here is an idea.. If you believe in the Christian doctrine, then don't take part in an abortion! Not everybody believes in the Christian doctrine.. Sheesh
LesterDC
It is not an attack against Christianity.. It is just a difference of opinion.
Oleg Bach
Canada has change and Christians are actually an invisable minority. With the influx of new religions though immigration and materialism being pushed on our young though our new religion of consumerism...and with the revisionism of old Christianity - that have taken the doctrine of pragmatism and converted it further, to pie in the sky paganism such as virgin birth and "miracle" dependence. Christianity is a rebel cause - always has been. What you are saying is that the rebels are being beaten down by the secularist socialists...if you are being beaten about - I suggest you get out of the way. And the mention of abortion further weakens your position. If you want to be effective - rarely use the word GOD - it discredits you among those you wish to effect - and never use the lords name in vain (vanity) - by going on and on about Jesus...be shrewd - use the concept to empower yourself but not that titles. People need help these days - give them encouragement. Christ would have spent time with secularists - and hooker and crimminals...and the state would say..."why do you hang out with this scum?" - and he would say --------------It's the sick that need a doctor...out there in the world Jesus and God have been slandered..don't make it worse - shut up! Michael Hardner
The secu-socialists are constantly attacking Christianity, look at abortion and the morally wrong those are two causes the secu-socialists love to beat us with. As fun as it is to have posters like Mr. Canada around, he seems to be posting slogans and not responding to questions or (obvious) problems with his argument, which is apparently to return to a pre-reformation state of affairs. Is there a moderator on here that could explain to him how this forum expects members to discuss issues ?

Oleg Bach
Tony will probably be by after supper - or maybe he takes Sundays off....I get reprimanded once in a while for using this place as a mini-blog centre. In order to really be part of this forum - you have to know what you are talking about...most of the time I rant...but - sometimes I actually read and figure out what people are talking about..but that takes work and a serious and responsible attitude. LesterDC
On the Separation of Church and State: In my view, the most veracious set of beliefs will shine through just as strongly even if the possibility of the contrary is just as evident. Only when our Christian beliefs are supported only by moral appeal and not by law, we can say "this is Good". Only when human beings are able to follow our Christian beliefs through sincerity, and not through coercion, we can say "this is Good". We cannot convince our neighbours by force, we must be accepting at all times. We must not fight this battle armed with the hand of the law, nor can we fight this battle through means of violence. We must always remain an immovable force of love, joy, peace, paitence and kindness. I cannot accept a society where people are persecuted for not following the Christian doctrine. However, I can only find honour in a society where people are NOT lawfully bound by our beliefs, and yet they practise them anyhow.
Mr.Canada
This is a valid discussion point. I'm not getting out of hand or attacking anyone. I'm merely not giving all of you any ammo to discredit me with. This is what jdobbin wants, ammo to take me down a peg. I know his game. No matter what answer I give, he'll attack it as will many others.

There was a vision of a wise old judge giving his oral ruling from the bench. FORCE of love is a very astute term..Christianity will survive as long as their is human love - the force that sustains the planet. If it was hate and intolerance that keep the ball rolling - we would not be here. The hard fact that we have had nuclear weapons all this time and not used them - is a testimony to human goodness...People are good for the most part..how they celebrate that is their private affair.
