  1. Alright, strip the elusive Illuminati from it, religion and jewish conspiracies, and then start looking for the truth. What it comes down to is a group of self serving rich folk who are consolidating money/power/governments to have more control over the population with only a few voices calling the shots. Wether you think this is a good or bad thing, this is exactly what is happening across the board. Local(combination of townships and municipalities), provincial, federal, in sectors like education, business (corporations getting together), healthcare (medication is produced by only a few megapharms). The European Union is a prime example of this. As is the pruposed Super Nafta and the North American Union. African Union is already in place. How can Africa have a Union of that nature when most of the countries within the continent cannot get their own shit together, but they do. I don't care for using Illuminati as a tool to promote my views, for people like you just close the ears off right away.
  2. Lets say an average car is 30,000 currently at 1.14 the cost is 34,200... at 1.13 it is 33,900 A total savings of $300. Unless you are paying cash on the spot upfront, and not doing monthly payments, you will never see those savings on those large ticket items. Not to mention how many big ticket items one can afford durring the year. On every day items, it may add up to some dollars at the end of the year, but does this reduction in the GST really change how you buy things? If the answer is no, then the reduction is completely useless and it really does not save the customer/consumer anything tangible or noticeable. I would have been able to save 20 bucks on my new $1500 computer .... someone pinch me this CANNOT be real.
  3. I have a better solution, turn off the TV.
  4. I get to save a whole 2 cents on a coffee??? WOHOOOOOOOOOO. This does not save us any real money. Watch the tax cut get eaten up by a higher priced item with a hidden tax, like it was before the GST.
  5. Actually yes. Corvettes price tags are up to 5 times the price of a Cobalt. So you would expect those Vette workers to be making more money. It is a luxury item, and more design and care should go into the production of the Vette. It is a coveted item, not many can afford it. If those workers are not making the same wages, then some fat cats in the company are. And in most cases it is robots doing the work, the robot in the Cobalt factory does not bitch about the wages the robot in the Vette factory works at. They both make nothing.
  6. How much does a diamond miner in Africa make? Compare that to the Two Month Salary Engagement Ring , and you will start to scratch your head. If you think that an african diamond miner can actually afford any of the diamonds he is mining, then you have lost your mind.
  7. Solution, stop shopping at Walmart.
  8. I think he is saying, that it is the power of the customer (we really need to stop using the term CONSUMER, which comsumes things, a Customer scrutinizes every purchase and justifies it) People need more self control when purchasing items. Most pay for it on a credit card that is already busting the limit. Most never make the full payment on the credit card. Why do you need another one of those items, when you already have many, and you damn f&cking well you cannot afford it in any case. Stores are to blame just as much for enticing the idiots with no self control, with no payments for 6 months, no interest on approved credit, don't ever pay now, but pay out the ass later on. We buy crappy products because the warrently lets us replace the item if it breaks, but if it was made with a little more care and better materials, I would not have to buy a new one every f&cking year. Money wasted that could be spent on other things. Like food. Also we need to get back into the frame of mind that nothing is disposable. Don't throw out your trash for a whole month, see how much of it your household produces? Ever notice hoe exessive packaging is these days?? And stop blaming others for retarded things you know you should not be doing.
  9. How many of you are suceptable to hypnosis? Have you ever been hypnotised? I was at a show where a hypnotist was performing, I volunteered to get on stage. I got sucked in for the most part, then after about 10 minutes I was just sitting there while all the others on stage where doing exactly what the hypnotist says. He came over to me and told me to go sit back in the audience. Glad I did, he made those people beleive the chair they were sitting on was the best lover they have ever had. I just snapped out of it. Fell out of the hypnosis. I did not realize it then, but I guess that means I won't let anyone run my life but me. I do make bad decisions, but at least they are all my own and the result is, I learn from them, and those mistakes do not happen again. I think people are influenced very easiy, and therefore their views and opinions can be influenced in a huge way without them really knowing about it. Television is a form of hypnosis. Ditch it for a month, read the paper, read news online, discuss it with others. Stop watching that box. Ever wonder why that box is getting bigger? Strap a webcam on it, and you have a 1984 wall TV that watches your every move. I should add that the Internet is slowly becoming a hypnotizing medium as well. As websites become more of an advertising medium than delivering actuall news or events or having real discussion on an important topic. Instead we get news anchors from MSM outlets that trash talk instead of actually digging into the facts and having a real important disuccion with the person they are talking about. One thing people do way to often is : When someone finds of discovers something is not right, or they have the instinct that something is wrong, they dwell on it only a short time, then dismiss it because the powers that be told us what the deal is. So you go right back into your chosen form of hypnosis. This creates a huge self conflict. I used to go against my better judgement (which got me into much personal and financial trouble), but not anymore. Since I have been taking control of things in my life, I am much happier. Person A - - I got screwed Person B - - Gonna do anything about it? Person A - - What can I do about it? I am only one person? Person B - - So you are just giving up? Person A - - Yeah, Self defeatists really. One person does make all the difference. ll it takes is one person to stand up and talk. We are surrounded by so many disstractions, tv, movies, video games, ect ect, that important news like laws being passed are left up to the goverment, and most of the time these laws do not make things better. But we would never notice because we are so concerned about the role model that is Brittney Spears, we are saddened by her actions, and hope she gets better, and her poor little 16 yr old sister is preggy with an older mans baby. This is the shit that gets more airtime than peace talks in the middle east. Anyone see anything wrong with it? Things are also set up in a way that accountability is a thing of the past. How can the government get away with any large scandal and some of those are still IN the government. Rediculous sham and show trials to make it look like the bad guys are getting caught. I ask that people stop being so damn complacent in their lives. I encourage questions and free thinking thought.
  10. Babblefish loses something in the translation. So what is the matter with you?
  11. I understand the thought behind PrisonPlanet.com and Infowars.net. But like your MSM articles, take it with a grain of salt. Much of what is reported on those sites come from MSM sources. So you cannot discount it outright. Pundits will always tow whatever line they are supposed to tow. M. Dancer Every source is in Italian. I love the effort, but without a proper translation, this all means very little to me.
  12. I have one for her. http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/12/05/s...d-he-know-when/ Sy talks about if Israel goes in, so does the US.
  13. Wilber http://www.whitehousepresscorps.org/ Dana Perino is just another in a long list of PR faces. That's all it is. The way the current US government treats the press (and it has been on the decline way before that) does not make this government overt enough. No comment on my comment from last year. Asking questions is ridiculed. Don't dis the disinformation. Through a few Executive Orders invoked at the same time or one by one it can be done. Consider this: How would a wanna be dictator take control of a democratic republic? First you have to create an environment where fear and terror will scare you to give up your rights to the government in turn for protection against the fear and terror. Also the context of the War on Terror comes to mind. The 9/11 attacks were acts of terrorism. It does not matter if it came from within, or from without. It was designed to bring fear into a media/leisure induced girth growing society. Since you have nothing but a plethora of media to watch/play/listen too. Being too complacent in our lives and eating up pop culture till we bust at the seams, the real news of world and local governments becomes secondary to most of the population. I know most on this board are pretty freakin smart/intelligent. People end up being surprised when this kind of thing happens. It is because people were just not paying attention to any outside terror threat on a large scale like 9/11. Now what kind of fear can you instill on the people on a daily basis by invoking 9/11. WMDs, Smoking Mushroom Cloud Guns, terror, fear and radical religious fervor? Since 9/11 have you payed MORE attention to Terrorism? Or less. Scale 1 to 10, how much attention did you give Terrorism before 9/11? We only hear from Osama now and then. But we listen to our politicians on a daily basis and just by that the government is promoting terrorism by making us more aware of it. Be afraid of everyone and everything. Terrorism is not the act itself, it is simply the threat to cause harm. That is terrorism. Through those executive orders Martial Law can be established in the United States. Under Martial Law, the constitution can be suspended, elections called off, and boom we reside in a police state. But to give up more rights. There will be more terror on all of you. So we will need to put in more security (combining levels of law enforcement, more surveillance, more police, more riot gear, more weapons, the ever lingering police presence. How much terror from within are you willing to put up with? When we know that most of the media we get these days is slanted from one extreme to another, how does one expect to get a good grasp on the whole picture. Each one of us slants it in our own way based on personal experiences and beliefs. This forms an unconscious prejudice. Combining different levels of law enforcement together is another consolidation of power. Now a few control more of this pie I keep talking about. The few people controlling the most of the pie, the more influence they have. As with corporations, this seems to happen in our governments and respected departments. Corporations have money and influence, and control our media. They can control and shape our ideals wants and needs. They spew out multiple gun blazing people blowing up crash fest, but PLEASE FOR THE CHILDREN put that nipple away. Guns violence good! Sex, nakedness bad. It is that much of a stretch to make the similarity of the Hollywood Gun, to the governments PR regarding the war on terror? Hollywood sure has stepped up to the complacency table with a plethora of TV shows and movies and video games all with Terrorism on the mind. We get it from all angles. The amalgamation of power is going on on a large scale as well. A country scale level. Check out that European Union. Now check out the SPP and the proposed SuperNAFTA and the North American Union. Since the US is more or less trying their damnest to secure their borders, why even consider a combined superstate with Mexico and Canada? If the USs sovereignty is so important, why even consider a union of any kind? That would mean this new supergovernment will have to beef up security all over the place to 'Protect and Serve'. On a final note for this post... When fewer have more, the rest suffer in poverty pestilence disease and death.
  14. http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/12/03/b...rogram-in-2003/ They quote a NewYork Times peice. So the US says they do, the US says they don't. Huh?
  15. No it would not be accurate to say I have not gotten the answeres I 'want'. Again, when many of the official 9/11 reports have much speculation in them, and theorize but cannot give us any real substantial evidence, then I should accept the cigar as what it is? What kind of Cigar was the war on terror? Even 9/11 Commision Report indicates that more investigation needs to be done in order to know for sure. Yeah the German people did not think that it was in Hitler's capacity to do that either. He was a powerful speaker and was able to manipulate the population after the Reichstag fire. Pretext for what happened next. Hitler was charismatic and passionate in his role. He talked the talk, and people stepped in his line and suported him. Hitler's Enabling act would alter Germany's constitution. Same way the Patriot Act in the US encroaches on people's rights defined by the US Consitution. The FISA bill, wiretapping ect. All this done under the guise of security and the betterment of the people. To protect us from the enemy. Now that a few years has passed and the Patriot Act is still in place. One might be able to make some shocking discovery about the similarities between these two acts. It is never the enemy who will curb your freedoms or rights. It is your own government that will do this.
  16. I have yet to find the answers I am looking for. I did not find those answeres in a few of the 9/11 books I have read, including the official 9/11 report along with several other books. Some of it is speculation (like those pesky ever elusive WMDs Bush said Saddam had) and I admit that. Much of the 9/11 report has speculations. The oppourtunity here is for me to learn something. That is my goal. And if you agree that Bush played the opportunist to serve his own prejudices and purposes, don't you think that is more of a concern than one tin foil hat wearer?? Bush is the President of the US and the Commander in Cheif of the US Military. Tell me who has more to gain by it, me or him? A man that should be responsible in that position. Then by your statement, it is an abuse of power. But that is what much of this thread is, speculation on how and why 9/11 happened, once you manage to outright prove something, speculation goes away and the truth is revieled to us. To this day there is more speculation around 9/11 than there was at the start. Why? People started asking questions. Why do they ask questions? They want answeres. Why do people ask more questions? Is because the answers before were not adequate enough to prove something outright. Or lies covering lies. Most of us can smell the bulls!t, but our domestic complacency lets us be manipulated by the powers that be. So we go against our instincts and believe something we know could be wrong. Again, when in many of the official 9/11 reports there is no official explanation about the cause of Building 7 (Soloman Brothers Building) fell down. You can point to the Popular Mechanics article about how it fell, but that is not in the official reports, so the P.S. report to me is considered junk. Another one of my selfish purposes is to present a few items to see what questions get generated. I am not the smartest man on the planet, so asking questions is vital to getting information. Asking the right questions can get you much more. Play the Devil's Advocate for a change. See what kind of questions you come up with. I can still not prove that it was an inside job. I will speculate (see!?) that it was an inside job based on the events of that day and in doing some research that goes back to the 70's. If you think Afghanistan was planned right after 9/11, I will say you are wrong. How does one move all the troops and equipment needed to theater without months of planning? Afghanistan was invaded on October 7th. Not even a full month after the terror attack on the US. Do you think this was 100% reactionary to the event? How much planning is needed to begin the operation? If you say it was franticly put together after 9/11, then I would suggest looking into how long it takes to prepare that many troops/equipment for war. Iraq could have been planned after 9/11, but the notion to go into Iraq has been around since the first Gulf War. I really think that a good place to start is corporate capitolism and the break up of monopolistic companies in the 80s. Why it was done. Compare that now with how many of those small companies don't exist anymore. Money has power and influence. With enough of it, you can call the shots, no matter what position you are in.
  17. Bush Cheney.... then show me a common electronic widley available electronic item that has a MADE IN THE USA stamp. All your computer components are made and assembled in China. Might be more accurate to say. MADE ON EARTH. :/ If some components came from Quebec, why are we not informed of that? Also, MADE IN THE USA (food wise) is made from contaminated gluten from China. So the MADE IN brand is just plainly false. Skilled labour is where you need to invest your money. If Labour is just labour, then your job whatever it is can be exported and you can be rendered useless. You might want to be more specific about what the 'labour' is. You have not seen my whine yet. When you do, you will want to take yourself off this board and never come back. There is also that lovely IGNORE feature we have here on the board. Go ahead put my on your ignore list if I whine too much.
  18. With people being so complacent in their daily lives, and with all the modern distractions we have, it would have been impossible to 'wake up' the people to a threat they know has no substanc. We all know that Iraq did not possess any chem/bio/nuclear weapons after the first gulf war. Saddam tried like hell to get the programme working again, but the infrastructure to continue was devestated in the first gulf war. Riverwind Iraq was never officially connected to 9/11. But in one of Georges speaches, Iraq was in a sentence right before the stated war on terror. Not one hijacker was from Iraq, but many of them were Saudis (US close ally). Since Iraq could not be connected to a war on terror, there would have been little support for the invasion and continuing occupation of Iraq (until the so called Iraqi government gets on it's feet, I will consider it still run by the coalition of the 'willing'.) The American population would not stand for this at all. But with 9/11, rallying of the 'troops' was alot easier. THEY ATTACKED US, WE MUST PAY THEM BACK... ect ect. Even a PNAC document (which has been thrown around her some) tends to have more meaning and weight behind it. http://www.newamericancentury.org/statementofprinciples.htm Jeb Bush <- Former givenor of Florida (I think he is no longer there) Dick Cheney <-- your current VP. Steve Forbes <----rich man I. Lewis Libby <----- SCOOTER !!!! Donald Rumsfeld <--- Former Secretary of Defence. Paul Wolfowitz <---- World Bank All card carrying members of the PNAC. http://www.newamericancentury.org/Rebuildi...casDefenses.pdf. Page 63. Micheal Hardner But it is a huge public display that the whole population can see, hear experience, and make it personal to the American population. it makes things much easier. If Iraq was invaded with the same information they presented before the war and without 9/11, do you really think the US would have gone into Iraq in 2001? There was much propaganda talk about war on terror and SADDAM, BAD SADDAM (who was once a close ally of the US) right after 9/11. It was a convienient way to blow some smoke up all our asses to get this next stage started. Ask yourself this. How does invading Iraq change the course of extremeism among the Islamic fundamentalists? There are many countries that need to be 'freed' a alot more than Iraq. And why is it that all the horrors stories about Islam are not comming out of the Axis of Evil? OK, maybe some is comming out of the Axis (well maybe not North Korea, I doubt they are Muslims) Iraq was a soft target compared to the other countries. Iraq has been under a no fly zone for a decade previous to the 2003 invasion. Ask yourself this. Why does a broke man burn down his house to get an insurance claim. Why would someone hurt themselves in that fashion. Down on their luck? In many cases yes. IN many cases, people just want to collect the insurance so they can build a better house. More to come..
  19. This is the stuff I keep trying to get Polynewbie to get on. The reasons and story arc that allowed the event to happen. There would not have been the support for the Invasion of Iraq if it were not for the attacks on the WTC in 2001. Now you ask, why does that need to happen? Then we need to go back about 20 - 30 years to follow the crumbs. I still think it is a huge consolidation of power. It has been happeneing since the large companies where broken up by the government to promote competition and the result was better items for the customer. This happened in the 80s, Large companies exist now again, larger than ever. Walmart for example Countries are geographicaly combined for superstates .. AU, NAU, EU... watch out for the asian unions soon. IN the guise of security and freedom, your security and freedoms are being ripped away since the Patriot Act was enacted. How long before was that document worked on. Would it have been accepted before 9-11 ? We can now see how much security has increased in certain key areas. Is this for our protection? Notice how the media is shifting away from Iraq/Afghanistan to more focuses on labeling ordinary people as terrorists? Whatever is happening now has been planned for decades. Presidents change, but the same people behind the sceenes are still calling the shots.
  20. I gave a reason some pages back, go look for it.
  21. Not when you consider how many products are consisted mostly of water. But again, bottled water is making just as much of an impact as piped water. Not all of us are on the From where I sit in my office overlooking the warehouse floor, I can see 15 pallets of bottled water. This is what we got in today. We had two truckloads of bottled water yesterday as well. How many places actually GIVE you water these days? They will gladly sell you a bottle of water for a couple bucks. This kind of counteracts your agrument about the 75mm pipe. That pipe is not used as much because of bottled water. That 75mm pipe is also used to fill all that bottled water. Then so much resources are wasted to ship it to you. Someone wanted to make money off water, and they found a way. How much fresh water do 6 billion people consume on a daily basis? Topaz. That SPP and the NAU is pretty f*cking scary stuff. It will destroy Mexico, USA and Canada. Sovereignty is a think of the past. Even Bush_Cheney will be crying in his security blanket and calling for his mother when the US is finally torn apart from the inside, by his own elected government. Canada will lose it as well. Welcome to Mexuscan .
  22. No need for sarcasm here at all. Your question is totally valid, and those children should know better since they are grown up in the Muslim religion. The children should have been horrified. I say all those kids are just as guilty and should be punishable by Sharia Law. Yes I am going to get flack from this, but it would be hypocritical of the Sudanese government to punish the Infidel, and not the children for slandering that Mohamed prophet guy. But like all religions, the powers that be play favorites.
  23. Bush Cheney I agree with you here. You are correct, however, but let me tell you how you are correct. In the past men have been on the battlefield and back on the homefront. Since children are not allowed to fight, and women have been allowed to fight for the past 50 years (guessing here alright?) When a city is bombed, men die, when a battle rages in theatre, men die. But to detract from the tragedy that is the casualty of war (soldier/civilian) The civilians are not as important for they are termed 'collateral damage'. So all this phallic missile making is just that. Who has the bigger one. Something man has been flaunting since day one. Weapons have escalated and increased in efficiency and capacity. Eventually there will the the Mofo of ALL bombs. We have enough nukes on the planet to destroy ourselves many many times over. Does that not seem wrong to you? We can blow up the freakin moon. We can crack our own planet in half if all the nukes where set off deep in the earth. The damage these weapons can do leaves me in awe, and frightened. All this nuke crap is straight up gangster posturing.
  24. Come over to my warehouse and see how much bottled water flows through our facility. Office bottled water (the big 20/40 litres). I think you will find the volume of all bottled water is staggering.
