Why would we want to be part of some group if it has no benefit to our nation...we pay to be a part of this and we get back a vote....that counts for what....not much....UN is run by 3 rd world nations, they have there own agenda...They have no power at all, neither does the inter national courts....The US has already come out and said any nation that messes with Israelis PM will be sanctioned or worse by the US government...Joe Biden, flexes before leaving office... we pay , and get nothing in return, nor do we stop wars, starvation, nothing...it is a toothless organization terrorist organization have taken advantage of... Why would we want a seat at the table...does it give us power, or global reputation, i mean where do you think we stand on the global scale of reputation if we can't even get a seat at the table...It once was a powerful organization, but today, come on they had a murdering dictator as human rights chair men...come on....

Have you picked up a 155MM arty round, it's F*cking heavy, and do that over and over again...even a 120mm ROUNDS TAKES over 40 per tank...change track for a day and tell me some 140 lb chick is going to be all in....normally females will take other roles in a tank or gun ,Don't get me wrong there are women doing these roles as we speak, and very well...but they are not the majority, they are the exception....I've also seen guys like 6,6 pop out of a tank...along with some 280 lbs that squeezed into the hatch...Trust me i seen much bigger in the air force or navy...in the navy they take it to a whole new level.... I've never seen a women exceed a mans physical endurance with the majority of men, NEVER...i've seen one or two give a man a run for their money, but the majority or often...not once... What would be moronic would be to enlist a man or women that could not meet standards regardless of shortfalls...and i don't think being short or tall has any bearing on job requirements, the standards need to be toughen up, and if you pass them your in...there is a saying in the army one man one kit....meaning if you brought it you carry it....if you can't do that then you don't belong... Now being an officer is a much different story....they do not carry as much as the enlisted, nor are they humping arty rounds or tank ammo...Another topic that was not discussed is SEX, having one or two women in a platoon changes the dynamics 100 % and not for the good.... Do we need to ban women, NO, do standards need to be toughened up YES, does everyone need to pass one standard YES

I have seen a few women that have meet or exceeded the standards laid out by the military..I've seen a few women that should have earned medals of bravery under fire, but to be honest those are rare...Standards have been lowered to the point they are almost dangerous... for example when i joined 60 % of our class failed to meet standards, all were recoursed...to try again...that was basic training, now today very few fail or get recoursed as they have to maintain numbers, or quotas, so many women, color, creed, etc...I mean it is on our own recruiting web site preference will be given to and a long list of requirements...I mean today anyone can walk off the street and pass the PT test...which really is not that high...Standards' could not be pushed any lower, the fact they have a fat camp, is telling these people can not even pass the very very low pt standards', and are kept on until they do, through diet and PT...in some case for a year or more... The one area the military has refused to lower standards is Special forces....here JTF and CSOR have tough standards, and if you would note there are NO female operators...there are females in the support roles of these units, but no operator's... Recently in the US there were Females that passed the Army Ranger course, but the standards were lowered... Standards for all war fighters should be high...and if a women can meet those same standards as the men do, then i'm good with them serving along with the men...Why they would want to do that is beyond me, Men in those roles are normally A type personalities, and for the most part if your not at the same standard they can be a$$holes...And i agree 100 %, not many professions that life's depend on be physically/ mentally fit. My ruck sack in Afghanistan ranged in at about 120 to 140 lbs...with others weighing in at much more...take a look at the C-6 gunner or 84 team, radio man, ....we rucked every where days on end in the mountains and low lands....with day time temps reaching plus 55 celsius...Some women can do this, and i've seen them struggle, sh!t i struggled, and i was 6'3 and 200 lbs......but the average women could not even last a day...Troops on the ground move at the same pace as the slowest person....we don't leave anyone behind, If you pose a danger to the group your find yourself be flown out...back to Canada...

I guess , but not everyone is getting it, the 250 only applies to working Canadians, those retired or receiving other benefits like cpp or oas, or disability benefits are not getting a check...according to justin on todays media....those guys have already seen some sort of help , this is only for working people....Not that 250.00 dollars is going to make my X-mas merrier any ways... The provinces are asking what about their share of the GST are they still getting that or do they have to redo their financials as well, and will we be paying the piper later by higher provincial taxes to make up for this shortfall... not to mention that most people buy their xmas presents early, by dec 14 most people are going to be finished shopping but nice try justin atleast your thinking about Canadians, just a little late tho...

we have created several generations that are addicted to their phones and whats on them...The other day me and the wife were in a restaurant sitting across from us were a group of younger people maybe 20 something, all 4 of them had their phones out, very little conversation going on for the entire time they were there.... Besides TV was the built in babysitter when i was growing up, and we were limited to what we could watch and how much....we were told to be in the house after the street lights came on....we were always outside...today, i need to bribe my grandkids to get our of the house...and if they are on that Playstation forget it... Maybe this is what kids need....i mean we all met those parents that should not even have a pet goffer to be honest...maybe the government needs to intervene, in some way....How the heck they are going to control all of that is a mystery

Well the rest of the globe has not exactly been caring about Israel and all the issues they have faced , there are a few exceptions the US being one of them... Why does Canada feel the need to care about any UN resolutions, what benefit do we get out of being part of this organization, i mean over all this organization has proven over and over to be biased, over certain nations, i mean just look at the people that were put in charge of human rights...Dictators at one time,....thats got to raise a red flag or two... who does that... Anyways when all of that and more is taken into account , it has to atleast give yourselves a pause and say YA thats pretty f'ed up...it does not match my morals and values...but some how, there is at least 20 plus % of Canadians that are still going to vote Liberal and lets not talk about NDP, they are not that much better....SO ya i think it does deserve to be highlighted, is it petty perhaps...but then again for me it is all about moral values and how much any one person has or does not have...or atleast should be one of the many factors we judge any one.

Yes, it was federal government department that uncovered the attempt...but anyone that works in or closely with this department or can tell you it is undermanned and underfunded....thats the problem and Thats the government fault... And it should come down to the last 24 hours before action was taken...or the attempt was found out.... i read in the media just today that they are 16 confirmed Iranian agents living in Canada, medium to high ranking agents...I'm afraid of how many more there is that we don't know of....these guys have been here for years....and have not been deported yet....tell me that this is not a huge red flag...tell me this is not the federal government problem ?

Well there is going to be lots of happy conservatives on election day....there is that.....and that should last for a least 4 years....and i suppose the left will fill up all the mental health spots left, with all the crying and whining...but hey according to August we all will get along. CTV interview about Canadian defence spending.... Not sure why Canadians do not hear the message, We as a nation are responsible for our "own" defense. We signed an agreement back in 2014 that we would reach the 2 % of GDP by 2024....the last time i checked we are in 2024...and we are only around 1.3 %...we have had 10 years to get our shit together and we have failed...pretty much covers the entire liberal government responsibilities , one huge failure after another...So today our government says it needs another 9 years to get to 2 %... President Trump has already told the globe, if you don't pay up, the US will not respond to any threats..So much for the old Canadian adtage of the US will protect us...What a "pathetic" people we are when we can not even protect our own nation...and we don't care about the consequences....Not just from invaders, but from natural disasters,climate change ,or even helping another nation respond to its own disasters...
