  1. And yet for the last 8 years we have continued to search for them...but have not found them...
  2. When i look at the forest it is on fire, most federal departments are in shambles, not working properly, backlogged, workers very unhappy, over trivial things like working from home, having to come into the office...ot threatening strike actions....we have major issues getting our resources to market, let's not even talk about oil and gas, or climate change...most of those great cities you talk about are over crowded, lack major infrastructure, or it's in bad condition, immigration is out of control, and we are far from the most prosperous, i mean we have the stuff to be, but are being held back by this government. peaceful... i think this nation is the most divided it has ever been, so much so we can not even hold one conversation with the other side without screaming and yelling and threats etc....english/ french, parents/ teachers/students, LGBTQ community/ religous community, right/ left, the list goes on and on....we as a nation are not united, but divided into many small groups... We as nation are not proud of our history, a good chunk of it is not taught today because it is not part of the narrative we have today... Why do people want to come to Canada...ask yourself that question they live in hotels, the government pays them more than the average Canadian receives, and all the other benefits why would they not want to come here... The rest of your post i agree with for the most part, and it does not paint a positive picture of our nation either....
  3. Again i did not say that, you did, right now he does not need a higher security clearance, he is official opposition leader NOT the PM....but you go girl keep on grabbing excuses... Ya , keep telling yourself that....which is why our country is where it is today....
  4. As mentioned earlier, Finland tops the list when it comes to property rights. With a score of 8.17 in the property rights index, Finland demonstrates a high level of protection and respect for property owners. Other countries with strong property rights include Singapore, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Luxembourg. https://www.ncesc.com/geographic-pedia/which-country-has-the-most-property-rights-in-the-world/ It is not a complaint, it is a fact the government can take or seize personal property as it sees fit, they do it all the time for drug charges, firearm infractions, hunting and fishing infractions, putting in new highways, or expanding a military base, the list is endless....and don't be looking at fair market value, as the federal government sets fair market value, not your local area or what homes have been going for that day...in the case of fire arms, there are hundreds of examples that will be seized with no compensation at all..becasue parliament did not give any funds to that portion of the ban....you either turn it in, or become a criminal....
  5. What truth was that, that Americans had a chance to vote in a women and blew it....perhaps Americans seen through her and threw their vote for what they thought was the best choice....It was not our PM place to say anything about the US election except to congratulate the winner... slagging the soon to be President of the US, our largest trade partner, our protector, is not a good strategy for any side of the political strips...your looking for a fight our PM can not even begin to fight....
  6. I wish we would stop comparing the US gun culture to Canada's, they are not the same, the liberals have a habit of doing this to prove their point, however none of their points address canadian problems. There are no property rights in Canada, this could be about almost anything they just happened to pick fire arms...meaning the government does not need much of an excuse to seize your land, home, car, anything really....there are hundreds of examples of them offering below market value for anything they need...and in case of fire arms the second culling of fire arms is not covered under the funds set aside, those firearms will be returned with no compensation at all...So ya there is no free will
  7. If this is what the left stands for then no thanks, most people on here including some on the left have agreed presently todays liberals and NDP have lost everything that was once good about their parties...as for the NDP who tout being their for Canadian workers, that their leader stood up in front of union workers and proudly boasted he would call an election if the government forced them back to work....was nothing more than words which now mean nothing for those union workers where do you think their votes are going....Politicians can say and do what eever they want, but their bottom line is normally votes....in the ndp case it is pensions ... Canada post is a federal run department, one that has held canadians hostage during most x-mas breaks...perhaps it is time to privatise this department, they could join CBC workers on the unemployment line...
  8. He has already obtained a security clearance, as all MP's have been vetted, the clearance he does not have is top secret which he will have to have as PM...SO much for your liberal conspiracy theory...And just so we are clear, it is the liberals that have not released any info on all those MP that were compromised , most of which were liberals...
  9. I was pointing out that in Canada there are lots of Canadians that do nOT have full access to those right s written in our constitution...and not just freedom of speech, most of them are restricted...One can not compare our constitution with the US they are not comparable, one is enshrined in law the other is up to the government whim.
  10. Them is Liberal voters, i never supported that wind bag for anything....He is the real traitor to this country... And in 2024 Canadians will vote and throw him and his gangsters to the curb....they are well past had enough....
  11. Well when we elect people like the liberals you should be forced to hear people complaints....and in todays world the liberals have had more screw ups than the first 6 years....so there is lots to complain about....And i am ashamed of my country and how it has treated it's military/ RCMP and finally its vets....prisoners and terrorist get better treatment than our own Canadians...so should you be...besides i'm not ashamed of my country, i served with the best this country has to offer....I'm ashamed of guys like you.... Yes you have the freedom to be critical but i'm a traitor when i do it....and if you read the last post and the survey less than 1/2 less than 49 % of Canadians have a emotional attachment to this country... And less than 34 % are proud to be Canadians....so NO most people are not proud to be Canadian. once again your full of BS...please just do some research before you post....this is getting to be a full time job correcting you.... Concurrently, the pride Canadians have in their country has fallen sharply. Seventy-eight per cent of respondents in 1985 said they were “very proud” to be Canadian. That number dropped to 52 per cent by 2016. And this year there was another drop — to 34 per cent. but on the bright side your one of the few.... https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/pride-in-canada-has-plummeted-to-a-30-year-low-according-to-poll/ar-AA1vQYab?ocid=winp1taskbar&cvid=e05efb70775c4662890fb77c46673592&ei=78 The fact that these parties have a following is telling, And at one time was the bloc party not the official opposition so spare me they have no traction...Justin took a knee a few times, you can look that one up yourself....just google that stuff...
  12. Sh!t Canadians voted for Justin 3 times....whats that make them...
  13. "Attacked" your such a snowflake... i mean really, your leader made stupid comments on global media and now he is getting a response.....which roughly translated play stupid games and find the F*ck out....all justin had to do was say yes mr president we will work on fixing our borders....and put some funding towards that....i mean we are after all responsible for our own security right.... thats not a question but a statement of fact... And hey my loyalty/ service to this nation is all paid up in spades mr magoo, 3 tours in Afghanistan, 2 tours of bosnia, 1 in Rwanda, one in Sinai desert....In my own mind i've earned the right to be vocal.....what is it you did again....right voted for justin....and your proudest moment was getting a DUI...You sir have not earned squat... your opinion is worth as much as my sons pet gopher...which is not a lot... So yes in this case and others i did decide to side with the US, I know in your mind something exploded "thats is not the liberal message".....your a traitor, i'm going to lay down and kick my feet now like a snow flake for a lack of a better descriptive word..... becasue what they have said is true.... we as a nation have been slack on defending this country, be it our borders from criminal activity, or our defensive agreements such as NATO, NORAD, 5 EYES. our own CBSA has said so on open media....every NATO allied has said so in NATO NORAD....this is a global opinion not just mine Canadians are slackers in this global responsibility.....are they traitors....
  14. Government restricts those rights and freedoms all the time...they don't need much excuse to do so....when joining certain Federal government departments they restrict basic freedoms all the time....like vaccination status, get vaccinated or find another job...freedom of speech a member of the federal government civil service sector like military or RCMP etc... is not free to talk to the public when they want on what they want......contacting them without approval and you'll be looking for another job, or legal action... Canada has basic rights, but they are not as enshrined as they are in the states...
  15. Why would you care is my question? i mean you live in a nation that refuses to pay the price to be in the club...then whine when the US threatens to make people pay they're share......If i was America and paying most of the bills i'd be pi$$ed as well...why can't canada pay for their own defence....because we are to lazy, we love our social programs to much, becasue Canadians need the government to do everything for them... well the US is tired of carry your fat a$$, it's time for you to start to walk on your own...
  16. What if you framed it differently instead of control someone else , what if your protecting some human form from destruction....give a voice to those that can not make any decisions, instead of some 16 year old that's been knocked up twice or more...and still has not grasped the concept of what rubbers are for... And i get it there are going to be special circumstances where abortion is wanted or needed say for medical reasons, rape, ....But 99 % of the abortions in Canada are for convenience...they were to lazy to use birth control measures...not that they can't afford birth control just to lazy to use it.... One of the reasons we have such high levels of immigration is because Canadians are not having enough baby's...those that are unfortunate and can't have babies, well they wait for years to get a chance on adoption...Funny here in NB those on welfare get paid more on the old welfare check for each baby they have, why not offer the same thing in the form of much larger family allowance checks...that's right pay Canadians to have babies...money talks here .
  17. Oh ya he has a lot of say so far, liberals have given him peanuts , which more an likely every he got will be rescinded by the conservatives...His word means nothing , he pumped up his chest and told those union workers he stood behind them, and would call an election if Justin sent them back to work...He does not care about union workers , he cares about his pension...he's no better than those slimy liberals... He's going to be lucky to keep his seat, let alone anything else....
  18. Just so you don't get your hopes up, no one from the Liberals or NDP are going to win anything....in fact the bloc just might become the official opposition....
  19. Yes thats what it takes to insult our largest trading partner , our nations protector, where everything that happens in the states effects everything in Canada, yes this is how true leadership solves important issues...by slaming their leader on national media.... Want Canadian respect, get Seal team 6 to come up here take justin and place him in gitmo....maybe since they are here take his whole cabinet...we are going to need pictures to show in our media, "See what happens when you play liberal games" Canadians will be forever grateful....I mean we have been there when you needed us....now we need you to save us from Justin and his gangsters...Before we turn into another california... where is the batman signal, whats superman number....we need help... You want the truth!!!!!......You Can't handle the truth....your not built to handle the truth....
  20. I get that , and thats exactly why the criminals have free rain over stolen goods leaving the country...take stolen cars for instance...worth billions of dollars....do you think Trump is on to something...if they can get a car out of country so easily, why not drugs...and it will never be as bad as what is going on in mexico...but we can not sit here and say our border is secure...when we don't even inspect rail cars coming into the country, and one in thousands of containers....we have the tech to scan all incoming goods, we just need to invest in tech, equipment and manpower....who is going to benefit from all this investment...Canada is...
  21. This has nothing do with the cons, they (conservatives)are going to do what it takes to get an election....This is about NDP leader keeping his word...to those union workers...Thats what he promised, he would end this government if they forced the union back to work....so now it is his word or his pension....and i'm betting it is his pension because thats the kind of guy you voted for....
  22. Oh i read the post, and i agree with what is being said....who is entitled to judge people , well i was really hoping that the people processing these refugee and immigrant had the training to judge, hence why they are working there.... You make it sound like no one is qualified so i guess we let in everyone....your worried about looking like a bigot, i'm looking for qualities that would allow them to fit in with our culture and values...and while i do believe we need to help out the less unfortunate , there is a limit to resources, funding, for this....and reasonable numbers should be established....taking in 1.5 million a year is not reasonable...
  23. For years i have been questioning Canadians loyalty to the nation, and i don't mean just mouthing the words kind of loyalty, like some on here...., but rather willing to put the needs of the country first and the individual second....type of loyalty...some say we are to divided to feel any loyalty to anything...Take a look at Quebecs/ Alberta's separation movements, LGBTQ/ education movement, Indigenous / the ROC, how our government has told us over and over we live in a systematic racist country, or we have no Canadian culture, diversity is our strength, or integrating DEI programs at all levels of government...it is more important to take a knee during our national anthem to pay tribute to some cause than it is to stand for our nations anthem...How we tell our veterans coming home with the scars of war, that your asking to much at this time...how we treated our elderly during the pandemic...I mean once you start putting them down on paper there is not a lot to be proud of... Maybe you can list some of things to be proud off , tried this not long ago and the most we got was 3 things and they were iffy....or maybe the poll was right... Some can put this lack of loyalty at the feet of the liberal party...as this poll suggests...I mean the liberals took power in 2015....somehow sunny ways have driven our pride some place else....but where ? do we place this loyalty, if not our nation, maybe provinces, or communities, or maybe we as a nation just don't have any pride left for anything... or perhaps we are to concerned with our own lives and our own bubble to care about the nation or the larger mass... Pride in Canada has plummeted to a 30-year low, according to poll The article highlights several areas they think is responsible for our lack of pride, financial status being one, political status as we already mentioned, covid and how it was handled,Status of most major Federal government departments, and a few others , what do you think "what is responsible for our shrinking pride in our nation"...
  24. I wonder if the NDP will keep their word, and support a call for an election.....Nah, he does not have the balls, he knows he would be throwing away his pension....that and he knows his words don't mean much to canadians...except those that are already morally bankrupt....Lets see what happens....i got 5 bucks that says, he'll have a press conference blow some hot air, but will not be supporting anything other than the liberals....and Union workers will see him for what he is
  25. I won't lie to you a middle eastern people do trigger me, somewhat, 3 combat tours will do that, there skin color does pay a role in hate....then again watching good friends getting blown up, shot, inicent civilians getting harmed, seeing a old man skinned alive by taliban becasue he gave us some directions on a goat trail.... that does that to... ....and while i thought i was getting over all of that , it seems to be in our news constantly, burning of flags, injuring police, setting fires, smashing windows, wrecking business....Ya i see the love....all of that not blowing in your face ? i mean we have so much in common with everyday Canadians.
