despite your troll-like comment, i gave a response and if you were truly interested in a real discussion, you would have responded to it. however, you didn't respond. here is another chance: i'm talking about the credit and money printing system that the current economic structure is based on. i'm talking about the socialist system created for the corporations. i'm talking about the increasing power of the lobby/special interest groups that trump the need of the majority. this is the unsustainable system that, if not fixed, will result in a collapse.

you have a lot of hot air that you need to release. without citing where i have shown racism, your accusation is nothing but proof of you being a failure. the above comment is also a failure.

jewish settlers set fire, palestinians throw rocks, settlers shoot at
bud replied to bud's topic in The Rest of the World
that is my bias. i was responding to your comment about not showing enough criticism of the palestinian side or as you call it, my side. i simply don't see this as a 50/50 situation. i see most of what is happening as a symptom of israel's treatment of the palestinians. i don't need to sit here and bring up palestinian militants' rocket attacks every time, because everyone already knows those are wrong. i have never seen anyone here defend their actions. however, not only the few israeli apologists here on this board but also our governments continuously try to justify israel's continuous breach of international law and fail to hold israel accountable. -

i'm not offended by that comparison, because you are either not paying attention to what i have been saying or you're trying to defend and cover your earlier outburst. all i have ever defended was justice and human rights. that's the only side i try to defend. criticism of israel does not have to be followed by criticism of palestinians to try to make myself look unbiased. -
jewish settlers set fire, palestinians throw rocks, settlers shoot at

i would disagree. it was the movement and the empathy of the people around the world that ultimately put pressure on our governments that eventually ended the support for the apartheid government. the same thing is happening against the zionist ideology. it's not a matter of if it will happen, but a matter of when. -

why shouldn't the treatment of palestinians be given a spotlight? were those who gave a spotlight on the treatment of blacks in apartheid south africa part of the problem? -
your comment and way of thinking does not define being a canadian.

while natanyahu, who leads a country with an illegal nuclear weapons program tries to distract the world with a nuclear weapons program that doesn't exist, the illegal jewish settlements continue to grow at a fast pace and the jewish settlers continue provoke. According to B'Tselem, which uploaded the footage to YouTube, a large group of settlers, some masked and armed, approached the village from the nearby settlement of Yitzhar and began throwing rocks and starting fires. After a group of Palestinians gathered and threw rocks in return at the settlers, Israeli police and soldiers arrived on the scene. One of the settlers is seen crouching while aiming and then firing his pistol at the group of Palestinians. Another settler is seen firing an assault rifle. "The video footage raises grave suspicions that the soldiers present did not act to prevent the settlers from throwing stones and firing live ammunition at the Palestinians," said B'Tselem. "The soldiers did not try to remove the settlers and in fact are seen standing by settlers while they are shooting and stone throwing." more:

Israel inches closer to compromise on Iran uranium enrichment, officials say Though Israel has been expressing zero flexibility regarding a possible deal with Iran, Defense Minister Ehud Barak a few weeks ago issued a written statement that Israel would consent to Iran's continuing enrichment of uranium to a low level of 3.5 percent, as well as to allowing a few hundred kilograms of 3.5-percent enriched uranium to remain in that country. link Some in Israel hint it can live with nuclear Iran: "[if Iran] realizes its nuclear ambitions there is an additional possibility: Israel will internalize, willingly or not, that it is also possible to live in the region alongside a nuclear Iran." --Yedioth commentator Shimon Shiffer link this is a major development and further evidence that the war drums were just that, drums beating in order to put further pressure on iran and as many have suggested to take away attention from israel's internal problems and the world's focus on the palestinian issue. since natanyahu has come to power, the illegal jewish settlements in the west bank and east jerusalem have not increased at a faster pace.

heh... yes and american woman is a leftist. ridiculous rhetoric and comparisons do not warrant a response. look at the north korean economy and remind me about their nuclear program. -

not to disrupt the warmongering circle jerk, but an attack by israel is not going to stop the nuclear program. in fact, it will speed up the process from thoughts of a nuclear weapons program to actually pursuing it. this is not my opinion, but the opinion of experts both in israel and the u.s. israel couldn't even get rid of hezbollah, a militant group, with their assault on lebanon. hezbollah is still in southern lebanon and they've upgraded their weapons. you expect an attack on iran by israel is going to help the situation? the israeli experts, (this doesn't include natanyahu), say that an attack on iran by israel would be a mistake: ex-moassad chief, dagan: said Iran has “dozens” of fortified covert nuclear sites and successfully hitting all the targets would be nearly impossible, he said. “The regime in Iran is a very rational regime,” Dagan claimed. ex shinbet chief, diskin: Diskin said it was possible that "one of the results of an Israel attack on Iran could be a dramatic acceleration of the Iran program. ... They will have legitimacy to do it more quickly and in a shorter timeframe." these two are known to be hawks and they're against an attack on iran. an attack on iran is not in the interest of anyone. not u.s.' interest, not israel's interest and not in iran's interest. an attack will not only start and accelerate the nuclear weapons program but it could unleash hezbollah to attack israel and for iraqi shiat militias (like the powerful mehdi army) to scrap their deals with the u.s. and attack u.s. bases from within iraq. an attack on iran is a stupid idea all around. -
i just read the book and it's amazing. it is so well researched. bergen's access to different sources and locations is incredible.

of course i would suspend it. i would suspend any aid to any country that used the aid to oppress people. i would suspend aid to israel and all its neigbours. i would suspend aid to pakistan as well. that doesn't make sense. you haven't once been able to refute any of the information i have shared here. ooh. the racist card! how typical. the arabs' reaction to israel is a symptom of the zionist movement and ideology. any ideology that oppresses another people in order to reach its goal is a bad ideology. this a fact and not an opinion: over 3/4 of palestinians were expelled by israel in 1948. over 500 arab villages were taken out by jewish armies and militants to make way for greater israel. this is a simple fact that has been documented. do some research. read benny morris', a self-proclaimed zionist, book, righteous victims, that has not been refuted by any side of the political debate. it will press israel to start following international law. did you know that the illegal jewish settlements in the occupied territories are growing 3 times faster than the population of israel? it's interesting what government subsidies can do. tell me how these illegal settlements are helping israel to secure itself? getting called a racist without showing how i'm a racist is kind of pointless. the anti-semite card is overplayed by semi-literates who are unable to debate the issue.

show me where in your link, the muslims ethnically cleansed the jews from palestine. show me where the ottoman empire ethnically cleansed the jews from palestine. why are you making shit up? who was forced out? russian jews were forced out of palestine? what? why are you making shit up? again, show me how the arabs expelled the jews. if i convert to judaism, i would have more rights to land in israel and occupied territories in palestine than an arab would. this is what you try to defend.

why do you think the dictators in the mid-east have been receiving aid? egypt received $1.3 billion (and not $2 billion) from u.s. to support israel's blockade and shut its borders to gaza. how typical of you, peepee; criticism of israel = anti-semitism. israel, from before it became a country until now has received financial and political support from the 2 world powers. without their help, israel would not be here. there would be no balfour accord, there would be no veto of resolutions, there would be no $3 billion+ a year of aid, there would be no impunity for war crimes. israel is a spoiled little child who would not be able to get away with what it's doing without daddy america. buddy. expanding illegal settlements and not allowing a palestinian state to form is NOT survival. it's an aggressive behaviour of a rogue state.
