not so much damage if biden comes out to say that he's retiring to spend time with _______. -
yeehaw. according to a facebook page thought to be his: Three of the seven profile pictures on the Facebook page are of rifles, three feature dogs and one shows a man in an image much like one distributed Monday night by the city of College Station. His list of "inspirational people" includes famed snipers Vasily Zaytsev and Carlos Hathcock, as well as noted firearms designers Eugene Stoner, Mikhail Kalashnikov, John Garand, Samuel Colt and John Browning.

not so fast.. The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, denied on Tuesday a report on the Web site of The Guardian that he had decided to grant asylum to the WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, who is holed up in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London.

while that is quite possible, we should not forget an important step that was taken besides removing tantawi and several generals, which is that morsi also canceled constitutional amendments issued by the military restricting the president and parliament.
-
turkey, malaysia and kuwait are just a few countries.
-
says the guy who made this comment: I think Morsi's a bit too greedy for that.

tax cuts while spending billions on wars and social programs means that you're racking up your credit card bill. it's just not sustainable. spending is spending; whether it's on wars or on social programs. if they want to cut taxes (mind you, this is only taxes for the select few at the top) and continue to keep the military industrial complex happy, it's not going to work. it's just more debt for the country. -

krugman is in denial. he's worked all his life promoting 'stimulus' and he's not about to let that go and ruin his nobel prize legacy. ryan's love for ayn rand and her philosophy that centered on the idea that 'selfishness is virtue' will not sit well with majority of americans. he also supports keeping the huge tax loopholes for big oil while cutting investment in alternative fuels and clean energy technology. this while having huge stakes in these oil companies, which will most likely come out during the race. -
it was a bold move. but of course, i'm sure there were some deals in the back rooms with the rest of the council. the revolution continues: link Crowds in Cairo praise Morsi's army overhaul Thousands gather in Tahrir Square to support move to replace defence minister and army chief by President Mohamed Morsi.
-
that's what some are saying could happen. there are still many high ranking military officials who have gained power through the old regime and probably want to hold onto their power.
-
you make that comment based on what?
-
are cpl and derek brothers?

The Egyptian president has ordered the powerful head of the army and defence minister, Field Marshal Hussein Mohamed Tantawi, into retirement and cancelled constitutional amendments issued by the military restricting presidential powers. Morsi also sent into retirement the chief of army staff, General Sami Anan, and appointed him as a presidential adviser. link this is what the egyptians wanted; the end of the old regime which included the powerful military. we'll see how this will unfold.

according to bonam: = "sir, he gave me a menacingly glare" "son, let us mark that evidence A" yes, note this definition. or as the report said, the incidents increased after 9/11. you think before 9/11, muslims didn't bother reporting fires in their mosques, beatings and work place discrimination? they just suddenly decided to play victim and start reporting after 9/11? note the difference in population; there are over 220 million whites, 6 millions jews and 2.5 million muslims. also note that jews have several well organized and vocal rights organizations including ADL. perhaps more recent data from the FBI, will stop your denial that anti-muslim hate crime has increased since before 9/11? Anti-Muslim hate crimes soared by an astounding 50% last year, skyrocketing over 2009 levels in a year marked by the vicious rhetoric of Islam-bashing politicians and activists, especially over the so-called "Ground Zero Mosque" in New York City. link you are also threatened by my criticism of israel's violations of human rights. this is because you condone israel's violations of human rights. there is no other reason why you'd engage in trying to defame me and spread misinformation. this happens when you're unable to justify israel's actions, without justifying violations of human rights. -

the topic of this thread is about a man in the u.s. who allegedly mistook sikhs for muslims and went on a shooting rampage. we're not having a discussion on discrimination on muslims in the world. that said, from the research i've seen, discrimination against muslims in canada is not nearly as bad as it is in the states. people in canada seem to have a healthier awareness and live in less ignorance. maybe you do, but i don't equate israel as being "the big bad jew". fyi: some of the most prominent critics of israel's treatment of palestinians happen to be jews. now, back to u.s.' increasing discrimination against muslims. Hate crimes against Muslims soared after Sept. 11, according to an FBI report released Monday that also shows that most hate offenses in 2001 were committed against African Americans. The most dramatic change noted by the report was a more than 1,600 percent increase in reported hate crimes against Muslims -- a jump from 28 hate incidents in 2000 to 481 last year. link -

you need to deal with this reality: Thomas Perez, the assistant US attorney general for civil rights, said there had been a 150 per cent jump in workplace discrimination against Muslims since 2001, often over religious dress and worship schedules, while Muslim youth are often the victims of bullying in schools. i am the most racist person on MLW. okay then. thanks for coming out.
