what do you think the percentage of the angry protesters as compared to those who don't really care, 'over there'? did you hear that al-quaeda used this opportunity to enter the compound and kill the americans? -

you're all over the place. hezbollah is not the same as hamas. hezbollah is in lebanon and they did not fire rockets until israel started fireboming lebanon. i trust pretty much anyone over netanyahu, especially if it's the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff general dempsey. okay then. they say they would use nuclear power for peaceful purposes. if you're regurgitating the 'wipe israel off the map' comment, it's best to look into it because it was actually said that the 'the regime should be wiped off the map'. a reference to the zionist regime. iran has never said they would nuke israel. how good reagan was? the hostages were kept longer than they should have been in order to damage carter's election bid. american citizens were used as pawns. how honorable. -

sure. after israel started firebombing lebanon. why is firebombing by israel is okay but responding with rockets to the firebombs is not? it's an idiotic remark. how does this explain pressing the nuclear bomb button? especially after the experts in both israel and u.s. have said that iran will not act irrationally when it comes to attacking? if that's your basis for 'blowing shit up', then guess who is the irrational one is. first of all, so what? again, how does storming an embassy in 1979 explain their willingness to press the bomb button? is this really how you debate? second, did you know that reagan's people made a deal with the iranian government to keep the hostages until after the elections were done in exchange for weapons. 20 minutes after reagan's inauguration, the hostages were released. -

that's precisely my point. hezbollah will unleash the stockpile of missiles they've been collecting since israel last attacked lebanon. these missiles will be able to reach every city in israel. see? this is what i mean by simpleton. you don't know what's going on beyond your fantasies of "blowing shit up". both israeli and generals have repeated that the iranian regime is rational and not this "suicidal super nut" that you want people to think they are.the current iranian regime controls the oil, gas and construction industry iran. they make a lot of money from these industries and they're not about to lose all of this. perhaps you should remove yourself from the 'us vs them' world and learn a little about the issues beyond soundbites and team slogans. you should also take into consideration consequences of actions by looking at history and listening to experts who know what they're talking about. -

not sure if you're able to think beyond "blowing shit up", but did you ever consider what could happen after an attack? what would happen in iraq? how would hezbollah respond to israel and all the new missiles they have? those are just military backlashes. what about the impact on oil prices and the world economy? the world is a nasty place, full of simpletons. attacking iran will make the world even nastier. -

some positives coming out of egypt. here is a statement made by muslim brotherhood: NYT Today’s world is a global village; nations are closer than ever before. In such a world, respect for values and figures — religious or otherwise — that nations hold dear is a necessary requirement to build sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships. Despite our resentment of the continued appearance of productions like the anti-Muslim film that led to the current violence, we do not hold the American government or its citizens responsible for acts of the few that abuse the laws protecting freedom of expression. In a new democratic Egypt, Egyptians earned the right to voice their anger over such issues, and they expect their government to uphold and protect their right to do so. However, they should do so peacefully and within the bounds of the law. The breach of the United States Embassy premises by Egyptian protesters is illegal under international law. The failure of the protecting police force has to be investigated. -

bud didn't say american woman was talking to him even though she just talked to him (in the 3rd person). bud was merely sharing his observation on american woman since he has become an expert on american woman. perhaps the reason american woman is feeling a little sensitive is because american woman is once again feeling like she is being misunderstood by the majority of the people. - bud -

limiting free speech is not a good idea. the bigots such as pastor terry, the coptic christian who pretended to be an israeli businessman, the sensitive religious muslim fanatics, the holocaust deniers, the muslim haters on this board and any other person, it doesn't matter how ugly they are, should be free to speak. any type of limit on speech is a mistake. -

no one asked for an 'expert' opinion. who would be an expert on this anyway? would anyone who lives in those state automatically become an expert on their state? are you an expert on anything? -

so this basile guy is not an israeli businessman. he's a coptic egyptian who promotes islamophobia. here he is with pastor terry jones: http://www.guardianexpressla.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/MOREEES_513399752.jpg here is a close-up of him: http://38.121.76.242/memoadmin/media//version4_s320096163456.jpg here is more on the crew of the movie who were deceived: The entire 80-member cast and crew of the film have released a statement saying they were misled. Via CNN: The entire cast and crew are extremely upset and feel taken advantage of by the producer. We are 100% not behind this film and were grossly misled about its intent and purpose. We are shocked by the drastic re-writes of the script and lies that were told to all involved. We are deeply saddened by the tragedies that have occurred. -

i couldn't help but comment on shady's profile, including his signature that quotes gandhi of all people and this: "Voted Maple Leaf Web's 'Most Outstanding Poster' 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 he seems to be his number one fan. a bizarre but interesting poster. his choice for his profile photo is quite fitting, considering it's of james o'keefe, a liar and a law breaker who used whatever means possible and mislead people with the material he presents to drive home his agenda. -

apparently the video was not the cause of the organized libya attack. rather, it was planned from before: U.S. Suspects Libya Attack Was Planned WASHINGTON — The Obama administration suspects that the fiery attack in Libya that killed the American ambassador and three other diplomats may have been planned rather than a spontaneous mob getting out of control, American officials said Wednesday. Officials in Washington studying the events of the past 24 hours have focused on the differences between the protests at the American embassy in Cairo and the attack on the consulate in Benghazi, the Libyan city where Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and the other Americans were killed. The protesters in Cairo appeared to be a genuinely spontaneous unarmed mob angered by an anti-Islam video said to have been produced in the United States. By contrast, it appeared the attackers in Benghazi were armed with mortars and rocket-propelled grenades. Intelligence reports are inconclusive at this point, officials said, but indications suggest the possibility that an organized group had either been waiting for an opportunity to exploit like the protests over the video or perhaps even generated the protests as a cover for their attack. hey look sherlock: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Peace/recogn.html September 9, 1993 Yitzhak Rabin Prime Minister of Israel Mr. Prime Minister, The signing of the Declaration of Principles marks a new era in the history of the Middle East. In firm conviction thereof, I would like to confirm the following PLO commitments: The PLO recognizes the right of the State of Israel to exist in peace and security. The PLO accepts United Nations Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338. The PLO commits itself to the Middle East peace process, and to a peaceful resolution of the conflict between the two sides and declares that all outstanding issues relating to permanent status will be resolved through negotiations. The PLO considers that the signing of the Declaration of Principles constitutes a historic event, inaugurating a new epoch of peaceful coexistence, free from violence and all other acts which endanger peace and stability. Accordingly, the PLO renounces the use of terrorism and other acts of violence and will assume responsibility over all PLO elements and personnel in order to assure their compliance, prevent violations and discipline violators In view of the promise of a new era and the signing of the Declaration of Principles and based on Palestinian acceptance of Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338, the PLO affirms that those articles of the Palestinian Covenant which deny Israel's right to exist, and the provisions of the Covenant which are inconsistent with the commitments of this letter are now inoperative and no longer valid. Consequently, the PLO undertakes to submit to the Palestinian National Council for formal approval the necessary changes in regard to the Palestinian Covenant. Sincerely, Yasser Arafat Chairman The Palestine Liberation Organization

israel is not above the law. no one should be above the law. demolishing palestinian homes, confiscating the land and then building jewish only homes in order to increase the population of jews in east jerusalem is not moral. continuously dragging your feet in order to increase illegal settlements on palestinian land is not moral. setting fires to mosques, to homes, to farms and and then not investigating them is not moral. not sure what kind of moral standards you have, but those actions fall way under majority of the world's moral standard.by the way, the standard response of "eradicate israel" and "not accept israel" is just more hot air that is repeated by you and the rest of hasbara bots such as american woman. the PLO (arafat) officially accepted israel as a state, as according to international law since 1988 and re-iterated it at the oslo accord with rabin. abbas has done the same since arafat's death. the palestinians are willing to negotiate based on the internationally recognized 1967 border. this is a fact that you continue to forget in your justification of israel's violations of international law. why do you need to be corrected every single time? how many times do the facts need to be repeated?

if by "some", you mean "only israel" and by "two sides" you mean "israel" and "the rest of the world", then i guess two sides say differently. there is a reason why no country has an embassy in jerusalem. it's because they don't consider jerusalem as israel's capital and they do not accept israel's annexation of east jerusalem. i love how honesty and balance is thrown out the door whenever you deal with israel and instead you turn into a hasbara bot.

that's called a deflection. here is my response: #1 - you can't respond to atrocities of one nation, by comparing it to something else #2 - especially when the issues are so different #3 - and especially when they were done in different periods in time back to israel and palestinians; under international law, israel is responsible for pushing out the palestinians out of their homes and land and creating world's largest refugee population. why are you okay with israel's ethnic cleansing of palestinians?
