To be frank, the government gets alot of revenue from gas taxes. Besides, cutting the gas tax by like 1% won't have any impact except lower revenue for the government.

I would rate the Conservative government 4.5 out of 5 stars in their first session in governing. They have done many positive things, such as their budget and newly announced military spending. Harper looks like a normal Canadian worker/dad.

Students that have above a high mark say 80-85% should not have compelled to write end of the year exams. Exams can only hurt people with high marks. If they have done a great job all semester, why bring their mark down by a stupid exam?

Public officials deserve every penny they make. It's a terrible job. Long hours, having to put up with the media and attacks from others, listening to people complaning to them, travelling, then on top of that, they only have a four year job security.

Since anyone is running whats next? Animal? Sam the Eagle? Beeker? Foozy Bear? Sam Eagle would be great, after winning the liberal leadership race, he would say "you are all weirdos" (just like he did in Great Muppet Caper).

More investment in every corner of the media circus to try to improve the audience numbers. CBC....Canadian But Crappy. The network in the centre of the universe(Toronto) for those who are there, and those who wiish they were there. That's why only 500,000 Canadians watched Trudeau II. I like Peter Mansbridge and the CBC but some of the shows are just awful, like the Tournament. I love Da Vinci's City Hall though.

There's mostly nothing wrong with the CBC. Except sometimes it makes absolute garbage. Don't privitize it.
