I would like to point out that; -I don't think that liberals are "the enemy". -I think a dose of liberalism/revolution once in a while is a healthy thing. -I went to a liberal fundraiser at my university for the university delegates going to montreal (I am the campus conservative vp of finance). I ate some cookes and give $5 to their cause, because they are nice people. But I would have voted conservative if I was able to vote in the last election.

The technology is 10 years old. Also other nations are just looking for ways to be the system, so the system is essentially not helpful.

My position with the CBC has always been if they didn't make such bad material, then maybe people would actually watch their shows.

I think the pay hike for Ontario MPPs is the right thing to do. It's a thank less job. 1) They give up at least four times the money they make now, in what they could have made in the private sector (businessman, lawyer, etc) 2) They work long hours (14 hour days usually) 3) They have to deal with stupid constituents (who will complain about something that the MPP probably can't do or change 4) They are under the eye of the media, who will stop at nothing to find something wrong with the MPP. 5) They get personal attacks from hecklers and other politicans. A higher salary would entice more people to run for Queens Park. When we talk about the poor, politicans shouldn't be one of them.

Anyone can make up statistics, 42% of people know that.

My opinion on Quebec is very simple and has and will always be the same. Dear Quebec: YOU ARE NOT A NATION! FACE IT! NOW GROW UP! You are a province of Canada, and will always be one. Reality hurts, doesn't it? Just because you have alot of french people doesn't mean you are a nation, or any different than any of the other provinces in Canada. I think Iggy will climax then fade because the others will start a Anybody But Iggy ticket. I fear that if Kennedy wins, the media will side with him. If Rae wins, Quebec will side with him more and Ontario will side with Harper.
