I don't believe that we have a lot of innocent people serving time in Canada. I think our track record is much better than in the USA. We con't have the double jeopardy law in Canada; so we don't have as many guilty criminals laughing at the law.

Sorry, I missed him but it still holds true. Most of this behavior started after the publicity of the Americans torturing. Irregardless, they did have information on the torture prior to it being confirmed with pictures. Let's face it that is why they took the Afghani prisoner to Cuba to circumvent American and International law. That torture was going on was no secret.

I don't think it has anything to do with either sex being distracted by the other. Boys have always matured later than girls. Girls were always better students in the lower grades and junior high ; then the boys start catching up in senior high. It would be more peer pressure from other boys too be more macho and sports minded; being smart just has never been "cool" for boys. Boys interest in sports is probably a bigger distraction than are girls
