  1. You don't get it, Shakeyhands, do you?
  2. You have to be a troll. No one could possibly be so misinformed. But what does one expect from someone who gets their info from radical sites like alternet.org? So what if Saddam had WMD, ties to Al Qaeda, openly bragged about supporting international terrorism, broke a ceasefire, ignored 17 Chapter VII UN resolutions, constantly shot at coalition aircraft, and tried to assassinate a US president? He was a threat to no one!
  3. Brilliant observation. Now can you please look up the word 'projection'? From the Washington Post article you cite: "There is "no credible evidence" that Saddam Hussein's government in Iraq collaborated with the al Qaeda terrorist network on any attacks on the United States..." Once again CBC Boy blindly follows what his socialist slavemasters tell him. Others, like me, tend to dig a little further beccause of the lies that are constantly told by the leftwing media. And once again, the leftwing media is caught in another lie. Whoops. There is no reference to "no credible evidence" in the 9/11 report. The Post just made it up. No wonder they are derided as the Washington ComPost. But there is credible reports out there. Things like this: Saddam's ties to Al Qaeda and international terrorism. Perhaps a little more reading and a little less game-playing might help you. Yes, a little more reading and a little less reliance on Dan "unimpeachable sources" Rather might help. Might. That's rich...coming from someone who constantly sticks up for the CBC and its 5% ratings share. I hope you aren't thinking of investing in the stock market. What about the 3 references to Fox News on the National? They showed their penis envy that day. Their inferiority complex was there for all to see. I don't remember them ranting about Jihad TV (Al Jazeera) being approved in Canada.
  4. Shakeyhands, coming from you, I consider that a compliment. P.S. don't bogart the bong. Black Dog is jonesing.
  5. Objective? No. Slanted? Yes Pravda? Bingo! The CBC's anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism is embarrasing. Try and call a Palestinian who blows up a busload of Jewish school children a terrorist on the CBC forums and the word terrorist will be deleted. Who could ever forget the CBC ranting against the Fox News Channel (3 times) on the day that the Liberal-controlled CRTC finally lifted its 5 year ban of the FNC? And of course there is the 5th Estate's constant rants about Bush, Halliburton and oil. Mysteriously, they are utterly silent when it comes to reporting that Chretien's son-in-law's father is the biggest shareholder in France's TotalFinaElf oil company - a company that was in bed with Saddam Hussein. The sad thing is that Canadians are forced to pay for this propaganda. Terrorists are NOT covered by the Geneva Convention. Really...how hard is it to go and look it up at their website? More nonsense from you. The world does not hate the US. If they did, they would not be so hungry for American culture, nor would they be flocking to the US to live. It is not hate. It is pure envy. Jealousy is a strong emotion.
  6. CNN aka the Communist News Network allowed two of their liberal pundits (James Carville and Paul Begala) to continue to host their show (Crossfire) while both were advising the Kerry campaign - a blatant conflict of interest. The liberal media was utterly silent about this. Just think of the outrage there would have been had two conservative Fox News pundits done the same thing... CNN overlooked Saddam's atrocities (as admitted by Eason Jordan) so they could keep their Baghdad bureau open. Eason Jordan resigned because he got caught by a blogger at the Davos Forum ridiculously claiming that the US military was targeting journalists for death and had captured and tortured journalists. He tried to backtrack after getting caught (sucking up to the international community), but he couldn't take the heat and resigned. Never trust the left, with the exception of Lieberman and Zell Milller, etc, because they always take the side of the enemy...which is why the American public is reluctant to put them in charge of defending their country. Ann Coulter calls it treason and I have to agree with her...although I think that Canada's Rachel Marsden is better (and hotter) than Ann Coulter.
  7. Somebody needs a big ole Clue Bat upside their head. This thread is a joke, right?
  8. And in another few years, people like Maple Syrup will be bleating about another Ice Age, just like they did a couple of decades ago. The loony left...always good for a laugh.
  9. This was an awful budget, except for the increase in military spending. The tax "relief" is a joke. The basic exemption goes up every year (it is indexed for inflation), so moving the exemption from $8000 to $10,000 over 5 years is a sad joke. The out of control spending was shocking especially with Canada's huge debt (Canada's debt as a percentage of GDP is higher than the USA's and the US spends money protecting itself - and Canada). I am very disappointed that Harper said he would support this budget. Canada's Conservative Party appears to be Liberal Light, and not true conservatives. While Bush's tax cuts gave the average American family an extra $600 in their pockets annually, the average Canadian family will save $16 (one income family) or $32 (two income family) next year. Whoop-di-doo!
  10. Get real. One needs free trade in a global economy. Why do you want consumers to pay more money for goods? One item we sold had a 18% duty on it! Ridiculous. Our prices (in my company) dropped when they eliminated the 13.5% FST and replaced it with the GST - which businesses get a credit for. My customers were happy and that is what I want. Protectionism rarely works.
  11. compares Republicans to Hitler and the Nazi Party. Dontcha love the rhetoric of the left? You might have missed this story since the liberal media has refused to report it, but thankfully Fox News has been on the story (just like when they were reporting the UN's Oil for Food scandal back in January/04. The liberal media only grudgingly reported it after the US election and they realized that they were stuck with Dubya for another 4 years). Tonight on Hannity & Colmes, Sean Hannity grilled some leftwinger on what he thought of the former KKK member Senator "Sheets" Byrd saying this. Unsurprisingly, the leftie refused to give a straight answer (it appears he agreed with Byrd), until Hannity gave up in exasperation. Once again, a liberal ends up looking like a fool on the Fox News Channel. No wonder many libs are scared to come on Fox News.
  12. Nonsense. The Democrat-controlled State Supreme Court allowed recount after recount and would have allowed this to go for years in the faint hope that one of the recounts would have shown Gore as the winner. Thankfully the Federal Supreme Court stepped in (finally!) and out an end to this nonsense. Bush won fair and square, despite the Donks pulling every filthy trick in the book to steal Florida - from disqualifying oversea military ballots, allowing felons to vote, and registering dead Indians to "vote". But all of this would be moot if Gore had won his own state. Kinda like John Edwards. The people of these two states must've known something wasn't right with these two.
  13. Psst, Senator John Al Qerry: Didn't you say that the Iraq war was "the wrong war at the wrong time in the wrong place?" Now you know why 62 million people (the most in American history) voted for Dubya. You had no vision - except for consulting Fwance and the UN...that "global test" you were talking about. The Bush Doctrine won out over your Flip-Flop Doctrine.
  14. The legendary Ronald Reagan liberated 170 million people from the Evil Empire - the left's beloved USSR. President Bush has liberated over 50 million (Afghanistan and Iraq) people (much to the left's dismay) and things are happening in the Mid East...Syrians protesting in their country, Lebanese protesting and demanding Syria withdraw from their country, the pro-Syrian Lebanese govt resigning, Egypt's leader Mubarek (sp?) announcing that he would like to have an opponent in the next election, the displaced Arabs in the Palestine region having an election, and finally that leader of the Druze community (who used to be a staunch anti-American) admitting that he was wrong about Bush and Iraq - and comparing things happening in the ME to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Will President Bush be looked on as another Reagan? Time will tell, but I have a feeling that history will look kindly on him. Even the New York Slimes (grudgingly) admitted that Bush just might have been right...as did the far left German Der Spiegel newspaper. I have been hearing rumblings that the left will be protesting the war in Iraq this March 19 or 20th. I hope they do. I want the whole world to see their hatred for democracy, their hatred for freedom, their lust for dictators, their racism (those subhuman brown people are incapable of democracy), and their moral bankruptcy.
  15. The FNC is available in Canada now. Its 5 year ban by the CRTC was lifted in November 2004. I get it on digital cable - you have to buy a digital box. I highly recommend getting the FNC. It is like no other news channel I have ever seen. It's easy to see why it gets better ratings than CNN, CNN Headline News, MSNBC, and CNBC combined. It's fast-paced, has cool graphics, and its opinion shows have fierce debate between both sides who passionately believe that their point of view is correct. When reporting the news, they call the terrorists "insurgents", but the pundits call them for what they really are - terrorists! One guy I work with is involved with the Liberal Party and even he said that he enjoyed watching Fox News, although he gets distressed at how bad liberal pundits often end up looking when faced with a conservative pundit. (I think years and years of softball questions by the liberal media has left them unprepared to back up their points). Their primetime lineup is excellent. Brit Hume's Special Report (leans to the right), followed by The O'Reilly Factor (O'Reilly calls himself a traditionalist, so he leans to the right, although he gets flack from conservatives also), followed by Hannity & Colmes - my favorite (one conservative pundit and one liberal pundit), followed by On The Record with the liberal Greta Von Sustern (sp?). You might remember her from the OJ trial on CNN. I also enjoy Neil Cavuto's show and John Gibson's show. They also have a half hour show on the weekend strictly devoted to media bias. I especially like when they read emails from viewers. many of them are insultive of Fox but they still get on the air. My favorite was when some leftwing idiotarian called The O'Reilly Factor...The Fascist Factor. I just about fell out of my chair from laughing so hard. The left's favorite insult; fascist...even though Mussolini and Hitler were both socialists, i.e, leftists. Although Fox leans right, there are no shortage of liberals on the channel. I especially enjoy that they expose these loonies that have hijacked the Democrat Party and crush them in debates using nothing but cold hard facts. One thing I noticed that drives liberals insane with rage is when Fox shows some event that is live, they have the little "live" graphic in the top LH corner and it interchanges with a small American flag waving like in a breeze. Patriotism! Nothing drives the left more crazy than patriotism for the country that is capitalistic, wildly successful, and destroyed their utopia (the USSR). As we all know, leftists hate America with a passion. That is why the American public doesn't trust them with national security. Well said. However we are talking about the left and they do not want any views out there that contradict theirs. The left has always been about totalitarianism. One can see it when they aligned themselves with Islamofascism to get their revenge on the US destroying their beloved USSR.
  16. I don't know. Why is the left so terrified of the FNC? Perhaps a Canadian moonbat can enlighten us. Are you up to the task? Perhaps you can volunteer to go on The O'Reilly Factor, or maybe face Sean Hannity and tell them...since many liberals are too gutless to go on Fox and back up their illogical views. I guess they are expecting to have Dan "fake but accurate memos" Rather fawn all over them...
  17. Pure crap. It was the CRTC's practice at the time (and still is - witness Court TV Canada), as digital TV was coming into its own in Canada, that American stations would be allowed in some cases if the Canadian cable provider spiked it with Canadian flavor. CNN was immune to this practice. Thus we have no MTV here but rather an "MTV-Canada", and no BBC but "BBC-Canada", and so on. They're really Canadian rip offs of foreign broadcasts and stuffed with the usual state-mandated Canadian content which the CRTC enforces upon Canadian broadcasters in TV and radio. The 2000 application for Fox News Canada was approved but not acted upon, because the cable providers realized that that wasn't what Canadians had in mind when they asked for it. They wanted a pure, plain and simple (unadulterated) Fox News channel. Just like the grownups in the US can watch if they want to. Nope. 57 percent. I wonder if the precentage of conservatives on CBC would even hit double digits. I doubt it. Freud had a term for some of the things you write. He called it projection. Do you know what projection is? Either that or you have never watched Fox News. Fox News has fierce compelling debates and is a breath of fresh air. One of the reasons why liberals loathe Fox News is because their side has to explain and account for their idiotic views and end up looking foolish - like Black Dog on this forum. Let's not forget that those who got their news from liberal sources believed that Saddam never had WMD, never sponsored terrorism, never aided Al Qaeda for 9-11. Indeed, most thought that criminal organizations like the UN and countries who were in bed with Saddam (France, Germany, Russia, and Canada) were against the liberation of Iraq for purely moral reasons. some even thought that Iraq was a Garden of Eden under Saddam's rule (Michael Moore-on's Fahrenheit 9-11). Can you spell brainwashing? And Black Dog is going to love today's ratings report: CNN tanking as Fox News surges The ratings are in for February, and the numbers are not good for CNN which saw steep losses in its viewership, while the Fox News Channel continued its rise. According to Nielsen Media Research, CNN's ratings fell by 21 percent last month in primetime, and 16 percent overall, reports Variety. Primetime big-name shows such as "Larry King Live," "Wolf Blitzer Reports," "Lou Dobbs Tonight," "Paula Zahn Now" and "Newsnight With Aaron Brown" all experienced double-digit declines. In contrast, Fox News was the only news network on cable to see viewership increases in February, as it outpaced all other cable news companies combined for the sixth straight month. "FNC averaged 1.57 million viewers in primetime, up 18 percent from the same period last year, while CNN fell 21 percent to 637,000 viewers from the same time period," Variety stated. Bwahahahahaha. No wonder the CBC went apesh*t when the CRTC was basically forced (after approving the anti-American and anti-semitic Al Jazeera to broadcast in Canada) to lift its ban of the FNC.
  18. Re: A national infatuation with censorship. What about that guy in Quebec that got fined $1000 for whispering to another guy that a third guy was a "fifi" (french slang for homosexual)? It was called 'hate speech' and even though the guy WHISPERED it, so the gay guy wouldn't hear it (the guy he whispered it to told the gay guy what was said). Frightening suppression of Freedom of Speech.
  19. I think the way that the EUtopia has been falling all over Condi, Rumsfeld, and now Bush - proves your theory wrong. The President is relevant and he was right. Bush has liberated over 50 million people and Iraq and Afganistan have had successful elections. Why would you say "God Bless 'em" to the 3000 Canadian protestors? Why should God bless the tyranny-loving people who were protesting the man who liberated over 50 million people? The left hates Ronald Reagan with a passion for helping to bring down their beloved totalitarian USSR and liberating 170 million people, and they hate Bush for bringing down two totalitarian regimes. If Syria and Iran "fall" during the next 4 years, we could be looking at another Reagan. 5.2% unemployment is sweet; it would be nice if Canada had those numbers. Oh, and get your figures correct. Bush got nearly 62 million votes, not 50 million. As for irrelevance...did you see how Martin "packed them in" when he spoke at the UN? There's your irrelevant one.
  20. FACT: The CRTC refused to let the pure unadulterated Fox News Channel into Canada for years. They put special restrictions on Fox by demanding that they change their programming and have 35% Canadian content; They said it would be called "Fox News Canada." CNN had no such restrictions placed on it. The far left Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting did a study and concluded that 57% of guests on Brit Hume’s show, Special Report, were conservative. Cry me a ****** river. Fox leans right, but so what? CNN, NBC, CBC, and the majors are so tilted left that Fox is a refreshing alternative. May they continue to prosper. Liberals either have a weak ideology (check), or they are not used to defending their platform (check) by reporters or pundits on TV. Liberals often end up looking dumb on the FNC. They are not used to having to defend their twisted ideology against conservative pundits on live TV. And that's why people like Black Dog defend the childish antics of the radical leftists who were chanting "F*** Fox News" in Manhatten during the RNC and, as stated in the article, wanted Fox News off the air. Liberals fear that Fox News is hurting their relentless brainwashing of the population.
  21. Er yes, Canadians do they think they are major players in the world. How else to explain all the whining that goes on when the US does something and doesn't ask Canada's permission. You see it on the CBC all the time. You hear the CLP or the NDP ominously worrying that certain policies would "Americanize" Canada. Oh the horror! Canadians think that they are major players in the world and their entire self-identity is based on the fact that they are not Americans; they are "enlightened." Well, you can have all the "enlightened" American liberals that are running away from their country because they didn't get what they wanted; a leftist government. This just might be the first time more Americans have moved to Canada than vice-versa, at least since all those draft-dodging American hippies that moved to Canada during the Vietnam War. Congratulations Canada.
  22. An excellent article yesterday from Paul Jackson about the Fox News Channel being banned from Canada. As we all know, the Liberal Party-controlled CRTC would only allow something called "Fox News Canada"...whatever the hell that is. Quote: Yes, friends, through Starchoice I've become a devotee of Fox News, (www.foxnews.com) the most popular all-news TV network in the U.S., and the one the Liberal-dominated Canadian Radio-telecommunications and Television Commission (CRTC) tried to prevent Canadians from watching. Why? Because it openly gives a voice to conservative commentators rather than the Lib-Left establishment. And, naturally, the thought-control police of the Jean Chretien/Paul Martin regimes can't tolerate anything that doesn't walk the official Lib-Left line. Think of 1984's George Orwell and his perceptive warning: "I believe totalitarian ideas have taken root in the minds of pseudo-intellectuals everywhere." Whatever, for years Canadians were forbidden to watch Fox News -- Big Brother saw to that -- but the CRTC made one huge error. It gave the green light to the Islamic terrorists' favourite network, al-Jazeera, to pipe its anti-America drivel into Canadian minds, and with that, the charade that there wasn't enough room for another all-news channel fell through. Fox News' slogan, echoed by all, but I like it especially when quoted by the gorgeous newscaster Page Hopkins, is: "Only one network has Real Journalism. Fair and Balanced. That's why we're Number One." End quote
  23. I doubt you will find them. Conservatives wouldn't block another news channel; that's the left's game. Who could ever forget the left chanting in Manhatten (outside the FNC's station) during the RNC...F*CK FOX NEWS? You could just feel the tolerance and understanding excuding from the left. Oh and yes, CBC is so fair and balanced; that's why the 5th Estate had to pay a lawsuit for their lies, and C-BS had its "fake but accurate" phony memos before the US election this year.
  24. Fortunata: Of course it is embarrassing when the leader of Canada, and indeed, its citizens seem to think Canada is a major player in the world. And I never said "do many Canadians want us to be."
  25. The truth hurts, huh? And for your insomnia, may I suggest the state-run taxpayer-funded Soviet style Communist Broadcasting Corporation? I found a great gift for you. http://foxblocker.com/: For the leftist who is incapable of keeping its remote control off the Fox News Channel. Now you too can show the tolerance that the left is noted for - by blocking the Evil Fox News Channel.
