Wolfowitz to head World Bank
Montgomery Burns replied to theloniusfleabag's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
One has to recognize Dubya's sense of humor. The Wolfowitz move is like pulling the wings off a butterfly. The morosely paranoid Loony Liberal Leftists are driven deeper into insanity. What's the reason for this Wolfowitz Derangement Syndrome that is creating such a brouhaha in Europe? I suspect it's the fear that Wolfowitz might want to make all aid dealings of the bank transparent. That wouldn't reflect well on Europe, would it? -
I haven't been following the trial much, but my gut instinct is that he is a pedophile. I remember him settling the first case for millions of dollars. I don't think he ever had a girlfriend before he settled that case. Then all of a sudden after he paid millions to settle that case, he got married. It was like he was trying to change his image. But soon he was back to hanging out and sleeping with children. There is something creepy about someone who is this close to children.

Shakeyhands: So there are no terrorists in Iraq and Iraq never sponsored terrorism? Thanks for the info. I guess I should watch the CBC more often to get The Pure Truth. And sorry for calling the Islamofascists Islamofascists. I should have known better and called them insurgents, militants, guerillas, or activists.

Castro: Cuba is Heaven on Earth
Montgomery Burns replied to August1991's topic in The Rest of the World
Black Dog: Oh the irony. "Inbridled" stupidity? There is no such word as "inbridled." And they mock Bush (but not Chretien) for his mangled syntax... And this person with the "inbridled" stupidity was smart enough to whip Carter 489-49 and Mondale 525-13. The only reason why the left passionately hates "Raygun" is because he helped the collapse of their beloved communist USSR. -
I saw the French author who wrote a book (which became a best-seller in France - surprise!) claiming that the US committed 9-11. He claimed that it was a missile that was fired into the Pentagon, not Flight 77. He was on Fox News' O'Reilly Factor (The No-Spin Zone). When Bill O'Reilly calmly asked the author what happened to Flight 77 and the hundreds of people who were on the plane, the author blanched, then collected himself, nodded his head and said, "Yes, Mr. Bush has a lot of explaining to do." Classic.

What are you complaining about, Argus? Thanks to the Liberals' budget, Canadians are getting "tax relief" of $16 next year. That will surely give the economy a boost.

We just saw one-quarter of Lebanon rallying and demanding that Syria quit its occupation of Lebanon, and now this: Pro-Democracy Protesters Riot in Kyrgyzstan; Government Says It Will Negotiate Nope, theres' no "Cause-Effect" relationship here. None. Move along. Nothing to see here.

Shame on these people. And a group from North Battleford invited the ultra-leftwing Ward "little Eichmanns" Churchill to speak in Saskatchewan yesterday, and then march in a protest against the freedom of 25 million people. I never thought the Canadian left was this shameless, but I was wrong. They are actually protesting the liberation of 25 million Iraqis from the terror of a madman. They are protesting a newly democratic country.

The Conservative Love-In
Montgomery Burns replied to Newfie Canadian's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Shame on the liberals who physically blocked access to Conservative Party members to their own policy convention in their own country. -
Castro: Cuba is Heaven on Earth
Montgomery Burns replied to August1991's topic in The Rest of the World
I Miss Trudeau: It might show who (Kim) supports Kerry. (If you want to bother registering to Financial Times, you can read the entire article) But I can understand why you would not want the media to report this... -
Castro: Cuba is Heaven on Earth
Montgomery Burns replied to August1991's topic in The Rest of the World
Fortunata: I didn't hear that on the FNC because it is untrue. OBL threatened the US if they voted for Bush. Didn't the CBC report that? -
Castro: Cuba is Heaven on Earth
Montgomery Burns replied to August1991's topic in The Rest of the World
And your proof is where? If that show of support for democracy is so upsetting to you, I can just imagine your rage at the 25% of the Lebanese population who were at the latest rally. Palestinians are not "a race." And calling a death cult a death cult is not racism. Not if the left has anything to do with it. I am mocking you and your ilk by calling Bush "Hitler", just like you leftists always do. As for the rest of your dribble... *Yawn* ... typical leftwing talking points that have proven to be false over and over and over again. But I just have to respond to this comment: You mean like Canada attacked Germany - a country that posed no threat whatsoever to Canada? -

Blackdog wrote: Seems to me that Cheney and the EVIL Halliburton saw the light. Shame that the woefully corrupt and greedy Chretien didn't. First, it was 500,000, not 1 million. And second, most of those people were Syrians bussed in from Syria and Palestinians. Two high-ranking officials in Lebanon said so, and the brothers who run the Iraqthemodel blog, said that they could tell by the accents of the people who were being interviewed on TV. Of course, when you get your news from the taxpayer-funded, state-run, Soviet style CBC, you would not know this. And calling a death cult a death cult is racism? Typical leftist logic. So Egypt and Saudi Arabia aren't free-flowing democracys yet? Damn that Bushitler! What's taking him so long? Doesn't he know that these always happen within a matter of days?! And the main reason that the USSR fell, was because Reagan knew they couldn't stand up to the US economically and that they could not match the weapons build-up of the USA. But the left refuses to give him any credit. I am sure they are practicing for Iraq and Afghanistan.: "Oh, Bushitler (Raygun) had nothing to do with it. They were both ready to collapse anyways from internal cannibalism." -
High Taxes Send Companies Away
Montgomery Burns replied to I miss Reagan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I saw that too, I Miss Reagan. But you left one paragraph out of the article that I found very interesting: Even Paulie knows that there is too much taxation in Canada. I guess that is why he is offering "tax relief" of $16 next year. That'll surely give the economy a boost. -

caesar: Sources. Eleven of them. All from Cubans. It's Kim Jung Il and you must live in a cave. KIM JUNG IL ENDORSED JOHN KERRY FOR PRESIDENT!! Whatsa matter? Didn't the CBC report that? Oh and you're a leftist, a hardcore leftist. I've seen enough of your posts on this forum. -
Castro: Cuba is Heaven on Earth
Montgomery Burns replied to August1991's topic in The Rest of the World
Fortunata: Paul Martin didn't say anything to Jean Chretien when his family was raking in blood money from France's TotalFinaElf oil company (who were in bed with Saddam). Millions of Iraqis died because of Martin's silence. And you claim I am partisan, when you make an outlandish claim of Bush spreading democracy costing 100,000 civilian lives. Let me guess. You are quoting the very vague Lancet report, or you get all your news from the CBC. Notice anything going on in the Mid East lately? Did you hear about the 800,000 to 1.3 million Lebanese demanding freedom (the country only has 3.75 million people)? That would be the equivalent of 8 million people protesting in Ottawa, or 73 million Americans protesting in Washington, D.C. Egypt? Saudi Arabia? Did you hear about the thousands of Iranians protesting yesterday and chanting for Bush? Iraq? Afghanistan? Even the death cult (Palestinians) had elections! What did Canada do to contribute to this? If it was up to Canada, these people would still be killed, tortured, and thrown into mass graves - and Canada would have been greedily taking Saddam's blood money. Oh, and Reagan didn't singlehandedly force the collapse of the USSR, but he was a BIG factor. Why do you think he is so idolized in Eastern Europe? If it wasn't for Reagan, the USSR would still be here today. And I suspect that you would like that. You leftists have never forgiven him (or the US) for forcing the collapse of your beloved communist USSR. That is why you have aligned yourselves with the Islamofascists. Revenge for the collapse of the Berlin Wall. And when did the balance tip in WWII? When Canada entered the war and attacked a country that did nothing to them and didn't pose any threat to them whatsoever? Or was it a combination of the US entering the war and Hitler's doublecrossing of Russia on the Eastern front? -

caesar wrote: Oh really? Let's take a look at some photos from Cuban hospitals. Whoops. Caesar is busted again. Oh yeah. Liberating 50 million people (and more to come) is so tyrannical. I can imagine what you think of Ronald Reagan - a man who liberated 170 million Eastern Europeans. But one of the biggest tyrants is Paul "We lead the world!" Martin. -
Until Canada can put an end to its MadCow problems, there is going to be problems with the beef trade. All the US wants is some kind of support from Canada - especially in the WoT - considering that Canada is a haven for Islamofascists. You can't complain that they are distressed that their so-called "ally" was in bed with Saddam Hussein and put oil blood money over the freedom of 25 million people. What if the US ignores Canada and decides to buy from China? If so, Canada is screwed! 85% of Canada's exports go to the US. Who would buy from Canada if the US put Canada on "iggy"? Not Europe. Their continent is a bloody mess and they have a low standard of living, i.e., they have glacial, if any, economic growth.

During a recent , outgoing Canadian envoy to Washington, Michael Kergin, lamented that no one in the US pays much attention to Canada. Simply put, Canada is important but not prominent. He explains: "I could be down here on the corner of Constitution and Pennsylvania and yell the worst implications against the White House and I don't know that people would care very much or notice. It would have to be pretty awful to get a footnote in the Washington Times (newspaper)." While Kergin whines about being ignored, he believes that the US Ambassador to Canada, Paul Cellucci, is listened to even while sleeping. "In Canada, if Paul Cellucci snores loudly at night, there's somebody around who's going to say he's in an awful foul mood and he's going to hit us tomorrow on our lack of military (resources)." It probably hasn't dawned on Kergin that the US already has to listen to a reeking pant load of leftists that are home grown so it would be redundant to listen to Canada. Not only that, but having a reputation as a haven for drug users, Islamic terrorists, and US military deserters probably harms overall Canadian credibility among American conservatives. But Michael Kergin is not the only source of complaint about Canada being irrelevant on the international stage. According to commentary in the National Post, Canada has become a bit player due to long-term neglect of international responsibilities. As a blunt example, the newspaper explains: "Our refusal to participate in the U.S. ballistic missile shield, a project that would protect Canadian and American cities alike from immolation, is perhaps the best example yet of how thoroughly fantasy and reality diverge in Ottawa. On Thursday, our government declared it would have nothing to do with the shield -- a foolish gesture meant to placate the pacifists in the Liberal caucus. But the next day, our PM advanced the conceit that the Americans would still have to consult with us before activating the system. One can practically hear the howls of laughter emanating from the few Washington officials who still bother to inform themselves of Ottawa's pronouncements: Can anyone seriously imagine that the President would ask our PM for permission to shoot down a missile heading for a U.S. target?" Michael Kergin might want forego his whining in favor of recommending positive changes like the newspaper did.

Castro: Cuba is Heaven on Earth
Montgomery Burns replied to August1991's topic in The Rest of the World
I see that the Left is continuing its tradition of defending the world's most murderous tyrants - Stalin, Mao, Hussein, Kim Il Jung, Castro, etc - as long as those tyrants oppose the government of the USA. And they wonder why Americans don't trust them when it comes to national security... -
The CIA is predicting the end o f the EU, not Europe. I agree with them. Western Europe - in general - is a mess. Their Big Three (Germany, France, and Italy) all have over double digit unemployment. Germans get 18 months of unemployment insurance. The French only work 35 hours per week and get 5 weeks paid vacation per year plus 11 statutory holidays. Some of the countries have a top tax rate of 60%. Who wants to work hard when the govt is taking 60% of your money? That is why they have a brain drain, as their brightest and most hardworking leave "The EUtopia" for the USA. Their socialized healthcare system might even be worse than Canada's. We've all read about the UK's horrid healthcare system and France lost 15,000 people last year during a "heatwave" because of their horrid healthcare system. The EU continues (like Canada) to mooch off of the USA when it comes to defending themself. And like the totalitarian regimes in the world, they direct all their rage at the USA for their failures. Sadly, their people can't see this. Plus, Europe is scared. They are scared of the radical Muslims that are amongst them. When Europe goes up in flames again - and it will (those clowns just can't help themselves) - I hope the US does not save them again. I also hope that Canada does not illegally invade any countries there that are absolutely no threat to them whatsoever - like they did in WWI and WWII.

Senator "Sheets" Byrd (D-KKK)
Montgomery Burns replied to Montgomery Burns's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Their favorite terms are Nazi and fascist. Me thinks too many people here are members of Moveon.org. The hiliarious thing is that both Hitler and Mussolini were leftists. But that's what the left is all about. They chant their mantras and their catechisms because many of them seem incapable of rational thought.
