It appears that some on this thread aren't enjoying getting PWNED by a 77 y/o Iraqi woman. Here's some pics for you to chew on. ------ Those Iraqi voters dancing were obviously actors hired by The Bush Regime. I'll bet those pics were taken by a Fox News photographer. *Screws tinfoil beanie tighter on head and furiously gulps down the Kool-aid* Foaming at the mouth....eyeballs bulging.....veins popping out of temple....must let out a Moonbat Mantra: NO BLOOD FOR OOIILLLLLLL

Ignorant Sheehan At It Again...
Montgomery Burns replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Just when you thought her blatant whoring of her son's heroic good name couldn't get any more disgusting.... Pic of Cindy Sheehan's photo-op in Vanity Fair Oh.My.God. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite so distasteful. She's pretending to sleep on Casey's grave. No wonder her family wants nothing to do with her. -
Oh, that lying liberal media

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> You continually say this. Where is your proof? This should be a breeze for you since it is so easy to find the lies and/or misleading claims by the leftwing MSM. Ezra Levant and CanadaFreePress are not part of the MSM (Steyn is a columnist fer chrissake), but even them. Hell, even the Wash Times gets has about 1/10 the circulation of the WashPo. I gave 2 examples of outright lies in reporting - not op-ed columns - from the last 2 days. Start laying down the proof you surely must have. Good grief. Mark Steyn? Notwithstanding that he is a columnist - not a reporter, but even the lefties can't find dirt on him. Even a search on the George Soros-funded partisan MediaMatters only has one result for Mark Steyn. Put up all the proof you surely must have. Btw, is there any acceptable rightwing source that is not "vile" or "childish" or "embarrassing" to you? -
That's bull. Saskatchewan has lots of oil, uranium, potash, coal, and timber, but struggles; it's filthy rich in natural resources. Why does it struggle? Because Alberta has a conservative govt that is friendly to business. Sask has a NDP govt that is hostile to business (highest corporate taxes in Canada and massive regulation). Where would you go invest if you were a business person? I recently saw a map of Alberta and Sask. Alberta had oil and gas "dots" all over the province, but it mysteriously almost completely came to a stop at the Saskatchewan border. What a coincidence, huh? One of my friend's daughters works at a polling market research company and she says that when it comes to the question of total household income, it is like night and day when it comes to Alberta and Sask. The NDP edged us last time (30 to 28 seats) by using scaremongering tactics, but we will get them next time...I hope.

Oh, that lying liberal media
Montgomery Burns replied to Montgomery Burns's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Here's another example. Yesterday: So what does Reuters report today? Voting started on a day that U.S. President George W. Bush gave a rare estimate of the number of civilians killed since U.S. troops invaded in 2003, acknowledging that 30,000 civilians had died in the violence. The headline from The Australian? 30,000 civilians dead: Bush Australia's Herald Sun leads their article with: ABOUT 30,000 civilians have been killed during the Iraq conflict, according to US President George Bush. The San Francisco Chronicle has already changed their headline and text of the story because rightwing bloggers emailed them complaining. Because of this common tactic of the MSM (and they never issue a correction), rightwing blogs have learned to screen capture online articles of bias. The San Fran Chronicle article was originally headlined: Bush says 30,000 Iraqi civilians dead in war Now it says: Bush says 30,000 Iraqis dead in war However the original headline is SF Chron headline is still available at Google. Sigh. It's just something that rightwingers have to fight against all the time. -
77 y/o Iraq voter, Betty Dawisha, has a message: "Anybody who doesn't appreciate what America has done, and President Bush, let them go to hell!" Click on link to see video; it wouldn't allow me to hotlink it. ------- Obviously she is a neocon. The Iraqis hate the US and want Saddam back in power. I bet she has shares in Halliburton. She is a puppet for the Bush Regime; I swear I saw a glimpse of Karl Rove's hand behind her back. NO BLOOD FOR OOIILLLLL!

err: What does that mean? No one is forcing anyone. You have a choice. What do you want--minimum wage to be $20/hr? Could you give us an indication of who should pay for all these high-paying jobs? Heterosexual families with children? Christians? Native Indians who can't even drink clean water? Inner-city minorities who continue to live on welfare because the economy can't create jobs for them? Those evil rich people who bust their asses working hard? Those stupid cowboy Americans?

Martin Favours a Reformed, Elected Senate.
Montgomery Burns replied to shoop's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Martin has become Harper's poodle. -
kimmy: He's a killer. From common killers like Wesley Cook (Mumia Abu-Jamal) to massmurderers like Castro and Saddam, the left often seems to sanctify murderers. Surely you have noticed this. Sadly, often these are the same people that support unlimited abortions--even late-term abortions. See above. He wrote some books (or had someone write some books according to his detracters) telling kids not to join gangs, one of which sold a whopping 300 copies. Ahnuld hasn't been recalled, unlike the former Governor, and the only people who are being embarrassed are the ones who support Tookie (who has never expressed remorse for his crimes). But after 24 years, the families of the 4 people he murdered can now get closure. Bingo!

Actually, it was originally going to be called, get this: Operation Iraqi Liberation Unfortunately, someone at the Whitehouse caught it on time.... A little too close to the truth.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, it was all about oil...same for Jean Chretien. Blood money while the Iraqis were being thrown into the 300+ mass graves by Saddam's regime.

Reply to Pocket Rocket cont'd: Mother country of the USA? Surely, you jest. Haven't you noticed that Americans value their sovereignty big-time? They officially joined when Germany declared war on them. Of course, they were "covertly" aiding Britain. Poor America. Damned if they do and damned if they don't. You mean like the tidy profit Russia made from selling arms to Iraq, and China...and France, who even built a nuclear reactor for Saddam? Ah well. They're not America, so it was okay. I think the Soviet Union should have had that tag. Indeed, Russia just sold $1 billion worth to Iran a week ago. Er, the govt reps are elected by the people and do what their constituents want. Then why should America care about "world opinion?"
-
PocketRocket: Read my above reply to Err. March 19, 2003: Operation Iraqi Freedom--President Bush addresses the nation The war started a day later. From the above link...the first paragraph: THE PRESIDENT: My fellow citizens, at this hour, American and coalition forces are in the early stages of military operations to disarm Iraq, to free its people and to defend the world from grave danger. Germany was no threat to Canada whatsoever. So? To Canada? Nonsense. Do the Israelis AND Americans who were killed by Palestinian homicide bombers - who were paid by Saddam - not count? Not to mention attempting to assassinate a US president and the extensive ties that Saddam had with terrorists.

Well, I guess it was a good thing that the USA and Tony Blair got all those weapons of mass destruction that he was going to "get us" with.... By the way, how many did they get ???? I guess we couldn't see all those weapons of mass destruction as well as Tony could.... I think that history already shows that Canada's stance was "sensible" rather than "cowardly and greedy" as Montgomery would suggest.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hans Blix is a lying neocon!! From Blix's UNMOVIC report dated March 6, 2003; two weeks before the war: UNMOVIC analysed the contents of artillery shells that had been stored for at least twelve years. The results revealed that the shells still contained high purity Sulphur Mustard. There are 550 Mustard filled shells and up to 450 mustard filled aerial bombs unaccounted for since 1998. (page 76) It, therefore, seems highly probable that the destruction of bulk agent, including anthrax, stated by Iraq to be at Al Hakam in July/August 1991, did not occur. Based on all the available evidence, the strong presumption is that about 10,000 litres of anthrax was not destroyed and may still exist. As a liquid suspension, anthrax spores produced 15 years ago could still be viable today if properly stored. Iraq experimented with the drying of anthrax simulants and if anthrax had been dried, then it could be stored indefinitely. (page 100) Iraq has declared that it produced three bacterial BW agents: about 19,000 litres of botulinum toxin (agent A), about 8,500 litres of anthrax (agent and 340 litres of Clostridium perfringens (agent G). (page 125) Although agent G spores produced by Iraq in 1990 could still be viable in 2003 if properly stored, Iraq probably has seed stocks and can produce this agent quickly following a decision to do so. (page 114) The undeclared quantities of agents potentially that could have been produced up to 1991 are significant and, at least anthrax and Clostridium perfringens, if stored appropriately, could still be viable today. (page 127) This was 3 months AFTER the December deadline Saddam was given to turn over all materials and documentation regarding his WMDs. As Blix himself said: Little of the detail in these declarations, such as production quantities, dates of events and unilateral destruction activities, can be confirmed. Such information is critical to an assessment of the status of disarmament. Furthermore, in some instances, UNMOVIC has information that conflicts with the information in the declaration. (page 139) David Kay was able to uncover a secret network of biological labs, testing labs in prisons, ongoing work on possible bioweapons like Brucella and Congo Crimean Hemorrhagic Fever, unmanned aerial vehicles, and live botulinum that could have been used to quickly produce biological weapons. He also stated, "The ISG nuclear team has found indications that there was interest, beginning in 2002, in reconstituting a centrifuge enrichment program." And how many times to I have to post this on the forum? Joint Resolution to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq Bush sought and obtained this resolution in October 2002. It was passed by both the House and the Senate, i.e., Congress, with Republican AND Democratic majorities. It has a total of 23 clauses. These 23 clauses spell out the rationale for the war. Out of all 23 clauses, there are only 2 that even mention stockpiles of WMD. If this was the principal argument for the war, the resolution sure didn’t make much of it. What the resolution did stress – in 12 separate clauses – were 16 UN resolutions that that Saddam had ignored or defied. Those Security Council resolutions, were more than mere expressions of UN opinion. The first 2 of them (687 and 689) established the terms of the truce in the first Gulf War, whose violation was a legal cause of war itself. The other 14 were failed attempts to enforce them. This is why the US went to war: to enforce the UN resolutions and int'l law. At the end of the 1991 war, there was no peace treaty, merely a truce that left Saddam in place. The truce was sealed by UN resolutions 687 and 689 and they set the conditions by which the US - who was still technically at war with Saddam - would allow him to remain in power. The 2003 war was not about only WMD. I hate to harp on this - as Black Dog has accused me - but you cannot trust the liberal MSM when it comes to a conservative in power. You have to do the research yourself because they have proven to be untrustworthy time and time again. I never realized this until I got the internet. Now you know why they hate the rightwing bloggers--and Fox News. Edited to add: The from page 125 is Agent B--which was in brackets; thus the emoticon.

Army Guy: There were WMD found, but only a small amount and the press immediately wrote them off as small and "old". Apparently, Saddam was allowed to keep a little bit of WMD and older WMD were also okay. Sure, those missiles they found had capabilites of more than 150 KM, but they could only reach Israel. Nothing to worry about. As for terrorist links, are you talking about links to 9-11 or links to terrorists in general? If you mean 9-11, there is not 100% proof that Saddam was involved, but there is a lot of suspicion. Clinton appointed federal judge awarded two 9-11 families a judgement of $104 million in a civil case (requires 51% proof) against the state of Iraq, OBL and his terrorist network for its complicity in 9-11. The media virtually ignored this judgement because it did not fit their anti-war view. Apparently, Clinton-appointed federal Judge Harold Baer felt that enough proof was offered about Al Qaeda training at Iraq's Salman Pak terrorist-training camp (there was a Boeing 707 at the Salman Pak terrorist-training camp and Al Qaeda was practicing how to take over a plane without any weapons). More on Salman Pak and here Was Saddam involved in 9-11? No one is really sure. However, Saddam's Iraq was a virtual terrorist haven and Saddam certainly had links to Al Qaeda, as the 9-11 commission stated. Remember 9-11 Commission Chairman Lee Hamilton's (D-Ind) anger at how the media was distorting the Commission's findings? And let's not forget where Zarqawi fled after the Taliban was overthrown (Iraq). Likely, the WMD are in Syria as satellite photos had shown much movement of trucks to Syria prior to the liberation. Bush foolishly wasted his time trying to go through the UN and allowed Saddam far too much time to hide the evidence--although they did find that Mirage Jet buried in the desert. That was cool; I saw the pic on the internet--an entire jet fighter plane buried in the desert.

Canadian Press A more mature relationship? Bashing America plays well for many in Canada, and it helped Germany's Gerhard Schroeder get elected a few years ago. Ideology overrides everything to the left, and they hate the US because every day they are reminded that capitalism whups socialism. Mr. Wilkins obviously doesn't understand Canada's left. Martin lied? Noooo, never. Grow up, PMPM. You are turning out to be as bad as Chretien. Quit embarrassing Canadians with your childish remarks.

Palestinians Allow Militants Back Into Gaza
Montgomery Burns replied to scribblet's topic in The Rest of the World
You'd think Saddam was back in business. I'm sure the UN will pass another Chapter IV (non-binding) resolution condemning Israel for this. -
California Governor Ahnuld has refused to grant clemency to Tookie Williams, the founder of the Crips gang that murdered 4 people in 2 seperate robberies, thus Tookie will be getting the needle. The Hollywood liberal crowd is in an uproar over this, which only goes to prove - once again - the old maxim: Conservatives will fight to protect the innocent and punish the guilty, while liberals will fight to protect the guilty and kill the innocent.

Also, a report on the Islamic rape wave going on in Sweden. Warning: The pic of one of the rape victims is kinda graphic.

I read this a couple of days ago. Today, I saw CBC's George Parala...(the guy with the long last name and all the earrings and piercings--used to be on MuchMusic) interviewing an Aussie university professor. Both George and the professor blamed it on "Islamophobia", of course. Lots of news about this from Australia's premiere blogger, Tim Blair. Apparently the Australian is in full Dhimmi mode trying to excuse the rapes and violence, by blaming it on John Howard for sending troops to Iraq.

Aid Group blames U.S. U.K. for Abductions
Montgomery Burns replied to scribblet's topic in The Rest of the World
The MSM and the left are giving so much attention to the 4 "peace activists" being held hostage in Iraq, but they barely gave any attention to Ronald Schulz who was murdered by terrorists 5 days ago. This is just another example of the moral bankruptcy of the left. Schulz being taken hostage and then killed merited little attention because he was trying to help rebuild Iraq. The "peace activists" lives are more valuable than Schulz's because they were in Iraq to document American "abuses" and they were anti-war. -
The left outed once again
Montgomery Burns replied to B. Max's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Are you denying that the liberal media has been caught time and time again lying? Or are you content to hurl your juvenile insults (morons, asshats)? I think your last sentence summed things up rather well. Maybe you are coming around. -
The left outed once again
Montgomery Burns replied to B. Max's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Please. No one goes around spewing the kind of garbage that Coulter and Malkin et al do without intending to provoke a reaction. In fact, in the many, many discussions we've had on these types of people, I can't count how many times I've been told that Coulter's schick is intentionally "over-the-top" and how she exists to "get a rise out of liberals". Well congratulations: apprently, its working. Oh and here's some "Classic Coulter Quotes" for sharkman to knaw on: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you sure you want to get into a pissing contest about which side spews the most hate? An astonishing lack of Coulter: And her "women should not be allowed to vote" was clearly a joke. Good grief. She is not any more offensive that Howard Dean and he is the chairman of the DNC. -
The left outed once again
Montgomery Burns replied to B. Max's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
It details a group called "Protest Warriors", right-wingers who attend left-wing rallies to try stir up sh!t. One of them made a sign which read "Except for Ending Slavery, Fascism, Nazism and Communism, War Has Never Solved Anything". Let's see now, slavery is still quite alive and well, it's just living in other places. Although a lot of immigrants, some legal, some not, have indentured themselves to plantations in Florida, which is tantamount to being a slave-laborer. Nazism has ended??? Hmmm. Type "Nazism" into Google and you'll find about 50 or more nazi-promoting websites. Nazism isn't dead, it's simply gone underground. Hopefully it'll stay there. Fascism??? Still plenty of that around. Saddam's gone, but there are still plenty more like him in plenty of countries, treating their own population in a brutally sadistic manner. As for Communism, I am assuming the anti-protest-protester is referring to the fall of Communism in Russia. After all, there were never any other serious "Commie threats". Well, war didn't solve Russia's communist "problem", economics did. So, the sign, while funny, and useful in achieving its goal of irritating the real protesters, was wholly inaccurate. I must say, though, that I found the guys' approach refreshingly original. I wish I had been there to see some of the reactions first-hand. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Protest Warriors protest the leftwing protestors. The number of rightwing groups that protest is nothing to the number of leftwing protestors. Why? Because rightwingers generally have dignity and a J-O-B. -
Thanks for letting us know what you think about Canadian parents--which apparently is not too much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well seeing as though I am a Canadian parent to 4 children I think I can have3 my say. Please tell me that you haven't procreated? The best way to handle this is to work out a dollar amount and issue a daycare chit that is accepted by whomever you want to provide daycare. Handing out dollars is silly and would lead to abuse ala beer and popcorn. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you want to spend your money on beer and popcorn, so be it. 99% of us other parents are responsible.
-
Your assumption that they daycare workers were wrong to go on strike is not supported by any argument.... How much were they making... were they underpayed ??? If so, then good for them. Unlike the CPC crowd, I think it's a good thing when people are paid what they're worth... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If they were underpaid, as you claim (but offer no proof), who held a gun to their head and forced them to take the job? What you are saying is that every single worker must be paid "what they're worth" and all Canadians must be forced to pay more money for goods and services to justify this. You can buy your groceries at Safeway and pay for their bloated salaries (and benefits) to push groceries across a scanner for $17/hr - because that requires a university degree and is physically demanding and dangerous work! I will continue to buy most of my groceries elsewhere.
