If the bill wouldn't survive a charter challenge it would seem the liberal saved a significant amount of time and money by voting it down. Maybe the Conservatives can do their job now and get to work drafting up some legislation that isn't in conflict with the charter.

It seems every decision Harper has made has blackened our reputation, and events like this are the result.
