Government job cuts make NO economic sense
Jack Weber replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Sadly, your last sentence is what has been going on for a long time. For far too long we have given away tax dollars with no strings attached to business entities that had no intention of using thos breaks for the original intended purpose. These entities have either sat on the cash or invested that money they received here in low standard of living jurisdictions where they could maximize profit... Frankly, this is tantamount to theft of the public purse.... -
Government job cuts make NO economic sense
Jack Weber replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
So we should give away tax money to business entities who seem to be intent on employing fewer people for less money for shorter periods of time... And then throw off these funds to thier shareholders???? How 'bout some concrete conditions tied to jobs for those tax cuts/breaks? -
Assange not so big on justice when he's the object
Jack Weber replied to a topic in The Rest of the World
Partisan conservative (in this case) submission to authority type... Can't stand the heat put on "The Establishment" by the likes of Assange,so,he wants to him taken down by a "sealed indictment" in an almost totally predictable "sex scandal"... -

Jack Weber replied to Boges's topic in Local Politics in Canada
I'm a unionized employee... I've been held hostage by management more than a few times... In fact, our contract is up on Sunday night and we are only going to see the first offer on Saturday afternoon because the company refused to negotiate early... You see, that moblike hostage holding goes both ways... -

Of course it is... But remember, these are the "freedom loving" Reformers in control!... What could possibly go wrong with Daddy Vic protecting us from all those child pornographers?? By the way,the fact that this was another Trojan Horse put into the "Budget Bill" proves just how sneaky these Machiavellian folks really are... "Standing Up for Canada!!!"..."Here For Canada!!!"... -

It's always interesting that when someone,or a group, threatens "the establishment" the sex story smear campaign is sure to follow... Sealed indictment... -

Didn't you know that in Fletchworld EVERYTHING the Tories do is transparent and accountable??? It says so on the brochure so it must be true... Oh..I forgot...It's also about the "freedom"... -
No!!! Particularily,in this case, when it's Islamofascism dressed up ina cloak of civility backed up by backwards Islamofascists... Then again, what was the uprising about last year if it wasn't to end military (and Ba'Athist) rule?

McGuinty threatens another election
Jack Weber replied to Anti-Am's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
If that's the case, then those rural voters are as stupid as the rural voters who keep electing the likes of Tim Hudak in Niagara/West Glanbrook... -
Riiiight..All unionized workers are "'tards"... I'm sure you've heared of "kaizan" work cells...We do this in the rail car industry... You do know that Warren Buffett invested over a billion dollars into BNSF about a year and a half ago, right? Are we all simply "'tards" in your free market nirvana??? And how 'bout those forced 60 hour work weeks at non union Toyota and Hinda in Ontario?? Wonder why there's been a few recalls of Toyoats products recently?
