What makes you think that an sharp increase in taxes will not further deter our Doctors, Dentists, nurses and other Healthcare professionals? How will your now low investment based societiy stop the Brain Drain of our young and educated? How are you going to pay for it? Don't dodge the question, answer it? Did he break the law? Do you want the government to govern with Christian morals now MS?

When has Bush been sucessful in any of that? A real evil person wouldn't have wasted time on such niceties such as diplomacy......he would have ordered a couple of National Guard Divisions across the boarder Hell, taking Canada would have been easier then Iraq....just a short drive over the 49th......and think about it, we have more than just oil. Do you know? Is his government reading your mind with a laser beam being directed into the fillings in your teeth by the CIA agents in the Black (silent) helicopters outside your windows?

Have you, or anybody else watched Fox 24hr news before? (I have not) Or are you judging on what you have heard from other (perhaps Canadian) news services? How do some know that Fox news is on par with Jerry Springer? Being as such that Fox news is the highest rated American news service, (by these same Jerry Springer watching proles/voters), perhaps the Liberal elite meida is worried that a view other then thoses expressed by themselves will be voiced. Also, perhaps those on the Left shouldn't comment negativley as much on Fox news, since it is human nature to be drawn to the "forbidden fruit"........and remeber, the proles vote also.

Does it look this way in your world........or are any news outlets reporting this? O-K.......so what are they going to do? Make Everything thats bad good perhaps? If so, how? Has there been any stories of Gordon Campbell profiting from any of his policies? Come on Ceasar, you could turn the election......... I wonder how many generations it will take for Canada to sort itself out, now that it has a news source from the opposite end of the spectrum? Before I relyed upon CNN for the most part, but was put off over the apprent slant prior to the US election......still like Larry King and Lou Dobbs, and tape Cross Fire when I'm of the mind........almost forgot about Jack Macafferty in the morning With Fox, I'm looking forward to probably the same news coverage as that of CNN, so in terms of that, it's most likely a sideways move. What excites me is Bill O'Reily and the lovely Ann Coulter From what I've seen of FOX news, (FOX network Sunday Mornings) it seems more objective (possably the reason for such high rankings) and to the point then other network news programs...... When I want the Headlines, I want the Headlines.......not opinions.......Be they of a left or Right slant.....when i want news/current event related entertaniment, I'll watch Dennis Miller or Crossfire.......and soon O'reily factor. What I would like to see from Fox news though, is perhaps a certain amount of time devouted to Canadian news......Perhaps a Fox News Canada?

I disagree, modern armed forces rely more on the brains of an individual soldier, than the brawn. As for "separating" the professional soldier from that of the draftee, thats incorrect, the drafted soldiers were used to fill the spots of the professionals that were lost in combat......this in turn led to lower moral, cohesiveness and overall ability of the said formations. (Case in point Vietnam)

Where can I go to read this "platform of sorts"? I usally do read the links provided in a debate......So please, lay it on me......whats the platform of the BC NDP party? There is a chance that they could form the provincial government.......do you not think they should say what they will do if elected? Shouldn't it be public record? Yes I did, as for not having a platform, that didn't pose a problem for myself. Before the merger, I supported the Canadian Alliance, but also agreed with some of the Progressive Conservative parties platform. Since the majority of the members came from within the Alliance, I assume that the Conservative party will slant that way. With that said, not having a platform obviously hurt the Conservatives with undecdied voters. What does this have top do with the BC NDP though?

Why don't they have a platform? If parties such as Unity and the Greens have one, why doesn't the BC NDP? Unity and the Green party do not have opposition status do they? As for the Federal Conservatives, they don't have a platfrom as of yet because they have yet to have a policy convention, this in turn hurt them in the election......I'm sorry though, I don't see the connection between the federal Tories and the BC NDP......is there one? The only possable one that I could conjure up is that like the federal Conservaties, the BC NDP will fail on the grounds of not being on a solid platform, in which to answer policy related questions.

And the apparently sad thing caesar, is that you don't seem able to answer a very simple question, from what you deem a simple person. For the last time, does the BC NDP have a platform and if so, where can I go read it? If they don't, they don't and if they do, they do......really simple question. Perhaps the confusion might be in the area that the NDP hasn't had a policy convention yet and that the Union big wigs have not told their puppet (James) what to promise yet.....I could be wrong though.

Mein Obergruppenführer, we can simply put the poor and other undesirables into the camps........ There won't be a US draft, for the simple reason that the US army doesn't want draftees, they want professional soldiers.....they learnt the lesson associated with a drafted army during Vietnam. Also, alot of the current shortfalls (in terms of numbers) are being addressed by bringing a large amount of the soldiers back from Germany and South Korea to rejuvinate SOCOM. With that said, I have no doubt in my mind that there will be an increase in recuritment adds for the Army, army reserves and national guards.

I hardley think that Bush had Canada in the forefront of his mind for the last four years........War on terror/Iraq, economy, jobs, re-election.... etc US boarder guards caught a terrorist entering the United States from Canada via the Blackball ferries (MV Coho) which travels between the Victoria inner harbour and Port Angles in 1999, his aim was to blow up LAX during Y2K celebrations.
