  1. I see so by your rationale since we already have murder in Canada we should welcome murderers as well then. Absurd. This cultural honour violence isn't the same as some random guy slapping his wife as you're trying to very hard to say it is. Uh and that's only true because people who are spouses spend the majority of their time together than any other assailant. You need to learn to think beyond your own brain.
  2. Sorry but people need to learn our laws before coming to Canada and respect them or be deported after serving sentence and stripped of citizenship. Will this guy even be deported?
  3. The situation would have to be looked at closely and reviewed. They would need to apply like everyone else does and not just show up at our doorstep begging for handouts. They need to go through the proper channels, apply and if they are deemed to be of use to us they can come here but only if they are of some use to us. We cannot take in everyone just to make the bleeding hearts happy. We have real Canadians who are in need and we need to look after that first.
  4. Sounds fair and reasonable.
  5. Point is they shouldn't be allowed in Canada to begin with. If a culture is counter to our own they should automatically be dq'd. Not welcome.
  6. if he is of no use to Canada he shouldn't be welcome here. I am tired of Canada being a welfare dumping ground for the worlds garbage. These people are laughing at us for our laws. Giving everything away to people who have done nothing to support it. Canada is a joke to the world.
  7. Canada is importing people with backward ideals about women's rights in Canada. Some cultures find it acceptable to kill their daughters and wives for daring to be themselves. Surely the left wing cannot support his culture. Violence against women is almost never acceptable and it certainly isn't acceptable for people who come to Canada for a better life to abuse their wives and daughters. Harsh punishment and swift justice is needed to thwart these backward cultural practices.
  8. A lot can happen in the 3 weeks leading to the US election.

  9. And Islamic Sharia Law, which the left seemingly supports, is trying to drag us back into those times.
  10. It was a two hour debate. If you watched the whole thing like I did then you well know that the hidden audience meter wasn't positive for Obama the entire time. He talked about some mostly just saying that he would do better. be fair, Obama wasn't going into great detail either. A town hall isn't the place for that. Not enough time. Romney's audience numbers went down each time he argued with the moderator or attacked Obama. As I said if you watched the whole debate you'd know this. I thought in 2008 he was supposed to inspire the people? Obama had 4 years to inspire the people. I think militarily so far he's done well. Cannot be denied but he's very weak on the economy because Americans aren't better off now than they were 4 years ago likely the same or worse off.I see it as anyone's game right now, it could go either way really. 45% is each sides base, it's the last 6% that's up for grabs. It'll be down to the wire to be sure unless one side makes a terrible blunder.
  11. You have to be fair. I watched the entire thing as well and Obama wasn't at the top the whole time either. I'm not sure I'd say that Obama decisively won but he certainly did better than he did two weeks ago. Yet again Obama didn't talk a lot about his own record aside from militarily and he didn't mention what he would do in the next four years.Romney did talk a lot about what he would do which got positive marks but he dipped every time he tried to attack Obama or interrupt the moderator, other than that he was on the positive the whole time. Romney has to keep attacking Obamas record because Obama cannot defend it. The economy isn't better off now then it was 4 years ago and no fancy worlds by Obama will change that.
  12. yeah her position against on sex selection abortion is just awful. On one hand they want women to be empowered then when a women exercises her individuality and power she's told she should just listen to the man...lol. Can't have it both ways.
  13. More guns = less victims The bad guys will always get and have guns no mater what the law is. It's time to let the public protect themselves with CCW law in Canada for law abiding citizens so we can protect ourselves from the thugs and gangstas who would make us their bitches or ho's or whatever the lingo is now.
  14. Of course they did. I doubt the NDP is silly enough to try anything like that again. I think that some social issues and environmental issues need attention that have been ignored for a long time and think that the NDP would address them. Andrea Horwath is not Bob Rae and she's better looking. Bob Rae thought he was riding in from Oxford to save Ontario and it blew up in his face.
  15. I am firmly pro life but am slowly seeing that perhaps it not be the governments place to legislate women's bodies but I still think that abortions in the ninth month are wrong and need to be against the law. I just don't see how killing a baby in the womb at eight or nine months pregnant can be seen as a great triumph for women's rights.
  16. I doubt it. He's fairly boring that's for sure but the same was true for Harper and look what happened there. I said it before that I don't think that a one term NDP government majority would necessarily be a bad thing because I feel that some areas have been probably neglected by the Tories and Liberals that could do with some attention from the NDP. I won't be surprised if they win the next election.
  17. If the provincial NDP are going to raise the rates of social assistance for the poor people i would actually want them to get in to give some attention for the poor people. The poor have been ignored for 2 decades now and it's time they got some attention by our government. I am scared of a NDP government but it may be necessary.
  18. I'm expecting a huge scandal to break any day now. I don't think a sitting Premier would step down a year into his new mandate unless something huge was about to break. Convenient that now he's also prorogued parliament at the same time so that when something does break, nothing can be done about it right away.
  19. Someone come to chat and yell at me.

  20. So people today who had nothing to do with any mistreatment have to pay for it? That's outrageous. You don't solve racism with more racist policies.
  21. This is not very productive. Israel isn't going anywhere and the Arabs aren't going away either so they need to live together. A Jewish State and an Arab State.
  22. Do they?
  23. Well this is getting just silly. 10,000 Muslims protested in London demanding that the "hateful and offensive" video be taken down. This is absurd. By that token anyone who is insulting Jesus is also bad. This happens nearly everyday but no one cares. SourceThis video doesn't break any rules and guidelines set up by You Tube or Google video yet these Muslims would like to make any insult to Mohammed illegal like it is under Sharia Law. Outrageous. The video is in bad taste of course but isn't and shouldn't be illegal. We are governed by reason and science and not by religious dogma as the left constantly likes to remind us.
  24. The world is a cold cruel place. This isn't a Hollywood script staring Will Smith. Merit is what people respect. Do you think that people want to get to a high position only because they are a statistic or because they earned it?
  25. Punked, I don't think that we can automatically assume that because someone was born "rich" that they will not work hard for grades. That just isn't fair. I'm sure that some "rich" kids work extremely hard for their grades because they are expected to get honours and anything less is deemed a failure by their parents.
