You're talking about ghetto people right? I guess underfunded is new pc code for ghetto or poor people. Is there conclusive evidence that poor area schools are underfunded? Is there evidence that people who graduate with honors from poor schools aren't getting scholarships for posh schools? I'm not trying to put you on the spot, I don't know. Also I'm not asking for you to do research for me. Yes or no will be fine. I just don't like the idea of a poor white kid with a B average gets a position over a wealthy black kid who carries honors. I think that it needs to be merit based.

I agree with what you're saying except for trying to determine who is more disabled then another person. I think it's a slippery slope that will end up in endless court dates, easier just to have one disabled rate. Also $1000 a month for an able bodied person? This is too high. I agree that the rates need to go up but not by $400 dollars. This is what OCAP is calling for but I think it's excessive. At $1000 a month there would be little need to look for a job at all or training I feel. I'd like to see a max of $750-800 for regular OW with ODSP being raised by the same amount. Don't forget that we have to pay for this increase somehow without raising taxes. People are taxed enough.

The policy and platform of the democrats is much in line with the Tories of Canada. You may be afraid to admit it but you have a lot more in common with Pm Harper than you'd like to admit. Sure the stuff the NDP says sounds good but the stuff the Tories say is realistic. Don't listen to the hype over at rabble read for yourself and you'll see that Harper has the true vision for Canada.

People in the real world aren't as clinical as yo uare. I doubt anyone looks at a loved on who has passed on as just a cadaver. I lost my father about a month ago and I certainly didn't nor did anyone in my family. People need to be free to do as they wish their remains. It's part of the coming to terms with ones own death. Surely in death the person can be free of politics.

No it isn't fair which is the why I'd like to see judges elected in this country. Then they'd be accountable to the public they are mean't to protect. Right now judges in Canada are accountable to no one. This is wrong.

punked, it is very close race. I wish you would stop saying that Obama is leading by a massive margin. Plus you're a supporter of the NDP or Communist Party of Canada or Marxist/Leninist or whatever and the democrats are more right wing then the Tories are here in Canada so I don't understand how you can support Obama but not Harper.

Considering that the democrats are more right wing then the Tories and Mr. Harper are in Canada I doubt you'd like it down there.

I wish so badly that Canada was a fascist state. It's the ideal system. It hasn't been implemented correctly through history which gives it such a bad name. Too bad Canada would be much further ahead with state fascism. Instead of arguing with the left we'd outlaw them and concentrate on making Canada better and stronger, more advanced race of people.

We have more than enough of our own oil. I'm all for it. I am a strong right wing nationalist so I'd like to Canada be as self sufficient as possible. Canada for Canadians! I dream of a fascist Canada with a strong military and parades through downtown Toronto like the Russians used to do. That's the type of patriotism we need. We need to instill pride into our young people instead of apathy.

People should excel based on merit and merit alone. Race, religion, ethnicity, culture, socio-economic status all shouldn't matter at all. We need the best people for the job period.

If people don't have anything to offer Canada we shouldn't be taking them. We accept immigrants to benefit us, no other reason. If the people applying are of no benefit to Canada we shouldn't take them. Canada isn't a charity but a business. We mustn't give out our healthcare and welfare system to everyone and anyone. Immigrants shouldn't be coming here and leeching from the system they haven't paid a penny into straight away. They should come here and work for us or no thank you, Canada is already full on welfare abusers.

The majority of prisoners are Christian therefore in a cost cutting measure Prison Canada has streamlined the operation. Non Christians can still get the services they require and at a reduced rate. Good for God and good for the taxpayer. Everyone wins.

Of course he is. People have gotten the idea that coming to Canada and being allowed to live here is some sort of human right. It's a privilege and people seem to be forgetting that. So it's up to Mr. Kenney to remind people that we are watching and we will not accept the worlds undesirable people. He understands that not every applicant is good for Canada. Some people can not or will not understand that.

Go figure. The most conservative province in the country, by a large margin, treats its disabled with dignity and respect even having subsidized transit while Ontario, a virtual socialist wonderland is lagging way behind. Sad.
