You do the math bud. A lot of information out their on the internet. I made the point that those costs should be factored in and it could make sense too help lower income family even if you are heartless. Myself I do not want 14 year olds in Jail and am willing too pay my fair share to help these kids so they do not get too the point where incarceration may be necessary. I do not believe in helping people that can help themselves. I believe in helping people to help themselves if they do not have the means or the ability to do it.

What the Conservatives did is eliminate the cushion the Liberals had in place. If anything goes wrong like a drop in expected revenue the conservatives would have to make panic changes too their budgets. One of the Liberal promises is to put the cushion back in.

The problem is their are a lot of people with disabilies that are less visible. Companies often go out of their way to accomodate someone in a wheel chair but will fire someone who cannot keep up rather than accomodate him if the disability is less visible. Something as simple as having to go to the washroom more often can get you fired. Do not get me wrong I am sure there are a lot of good companies out there that have a concern for disabled. But their is less education and awareness of the less visible disabilities. I am presently working for a company that is firing people that have developed disabilities because they can not keep up to minimum expectations. These employees have been working for the company for over 20 years.

Not so any money in excess of what is needed goes into savings. Low income people buy goods and services and do not retain money.

Too a point you are correct. Families should take consequence's/responsibility for their children. However even if you are heartless it could be in your best interest to assist those without sufficient means too handle their responsibility's. There are huge social costs involved in not helping parents with their duties. Imagine the huge cost of throwing 14 year olds in prison. Any money given to low income families goes directly back to the economy. The trouble is all the parties try to buy votes so they throw out money to everybody rather than targeting needs.

What type of Leader is Harper?

I am glad you can isolate parts of comments for your amusement. -

Stay tuned the conservatives give their promises tomorrow. You know parties very seldom come through with their promises especially when they have no hope of getting into power anyways. Is there no tax back policy in that plan?

What type of Leader is Harper?

Its is an often asked question. It is supposed to tell something about you as a person but I do no how it works. Harper should learn to lighten up at bit and just be himself instead of some programed robot. You would have no problem learning what Harper the man is like would you. -

http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/stor...008&no_ads= Dion says the Liberals will protect womens rights. The Liberals are running 112 women candidates. He is out of the kitchen fighting for your rights. -
What type of Leader is Harper?

Not an important question at all. Its just most good leaders have no trouble coming up with responses no matter how stupid the question. If you want a PM that needs scripted answers vote for him. As for me I am not impressed. -

Never was a fan of Chretien especially in his last years in politics . You think Harpers attack adds are okay and your entitled but not everyone thinks that politics should stoop too that level. Everyone has their own level of tolerance. -
Dion has a very high opinion of women. He worked very hard to get as many female candidates as he could. I think women make very powerful allies. I am not sure what your problem is with women. My wife has no problem letting me know what she thinks and I love her for it. I have no use for any man that does not treat women with respect. Women should be happy that so many women are active in the Liberal party.

I don't think Chretien or Trudeau ever scripted anything in there lives. They just said what ever came to mind. Harper on the other hand does not know what to say if he does not have a scripted answer. He was asked if he was a vegetable what kind of vegetable would he be and he was a loss for words. Certainly the conservatives could have found a better leadership candidate than HARPER.` -

You must think his adds are in good taste. If you do I can understand you supporting him. To me it tells a lot about Harper the person and how low he can go. I have voted for the progressive conservatives as much as I have voted for any other party but I WILL NEVER vote for any party who has to muzzle his canditates and put out adds meant to destroy a person rather than consentrating on what good their party can do. -
