You make a good arguement for improved education and tighter legislation for the sale of video games. You need to support the families and help the kids that do not have the family support. Most kids involved in crime go to gangs because that is the only family they know. The education they get there will not tell them about the consequences of their actions. The problem is governments do not want to spend money where it is needed at the root of the problem.

I am trying to understand the point of it. The poles were suggesting another minority government. Why should we quietly sit by well Harper wastes our money on another election? The money can be better spend elsewhere.

Is your company poluting the environment? Will a carbon tax change the way you operate. Do you care about the environment at all or just about your own pocket. Most people want something done about the environment. Few want to be the ones to pay for it. What expenditures of Dion are you talking about?

I vote for the person not the party. I want to know what the candidates think. Do they have a mind of their own? Are they willing to speak for the riding or are they just puppets?

People are tired of elections. Dion was well aware that the public would have been angered if he forced an election. Unless Harper had some legislation planned that would clearly have upset the electorate I see know reason why Harper felt he could not govern. The opposition parties threaten non confidence votes routinely that what opposition parties do. Chances are a lot of people will not go out and vote because they are tired of it.

You do understand that it is the RIGHT WING Harper's conservatives that model themselves after Bush. You do understand that there is off senting tax reductions so that their is no net gain in revenue.

Why would a good candidate say something stupid or scandalous?

MY kid is angry about the carbon tax. He thinks it will do nothing to help the environment. He thinks gas is too expensive already. He thinks it is just another way to tax the public. They went out and bought a new gas guzzling vehicle and drive it when they only have to go four blocks. If people took themselves out of the equation and simply just voted for what is best for Canada the results would be a whole lot different.

Should candidates not be capable of understanding the needs of the riding? I live in largely a working class riding and have an upper class candidate parachuted in. How can he possibly understanding our needs? Do parties not give thought to who they pick. There is no way I will vote for anyone that does not represent the people in the riding I simply do not care what party they belong too.

Harper keeps harping about how good a leader is he is. But who is he leading. What do we know about his followers who seem quite content to keep their mouth shut?

Voters are tired of elections. There is no reason that this election was called. Parliment should be in session shielding us from the economic crisis in the states.
