  1. I've argued for a long time that I don't really understand why Iran was made an enemy of the West. Back in the 70's it was modernizing and secularizing, but the CIA reinstalled the Shah aaaaand ushered in ~50 years of fundamentalism with their interference. Let's hope that something comes of this protest. It seems different this time. Hopefully the USA can keep their noses out of it though.
  2. Thanks for continuing to deliver perfect quotes to encapsulate your ignorance! Your stuck on a distinction that doesn't exist, supposing that "Islam" is a monolithic and uniform institution and that the only difference is how much Muslim you are. Try the biggest one of all. Indonesia (with +90% Muslim population) isn't as free/secular as, say, Canada, but it's unrecognizable from places like Saudi Arabia or Pakistan, where the worst practices and worst offenders among the faith constitute your Bubba interpretation of what "Islam" is. Honour killings, niqabs and killing infidels! That's what it's all about, right?! ?
  3. Sort of like the hundreds of other doctors who come out on television all of the time, saying the opposite. This is Goddess-logic though. TV = legitimacy....as long as they're saying things Goddess likes. Otherwise...they're compromised...it's fake...mhmm. Yup. This tracks. She's "doing her own research", digging deep for anything/anyone whatsoever who makes the noises she wants to hear.
  4. When did you hear about him? ? Did it show up a little while ago on your Facebook feed? Was it an anom on 4chan? Which clown alt-site were you trawling when you dug this gem up? Yes yes...Very well-respected scientist here! 9/10 Trucker Convoy reddit posters agree!
  5. There's nothing to interpret here. My God man. ? The distinction you're drawing is absolutely meaningless. You're literally just confirming your foolishness and shitty reasoning. Your bolded, uniform and sweeping judgment on what you witlessly think Islam even means is wrong from the start. You could, perhaps, say that "Some/many Muslism still espouse..." or even point to various Islamist countries with draconic and barbaric laws/practices. That would hold some water. Saying that Islam itself does, however, is moronic and self-evidently false by simple virtue of all the secular Muslim countries around the world who do not. You sound like one of those trailer park buffoons: "Well some black people are okay."
  6. Evasiveness to what? Over what? Compared to what? You're not normally one to just vaguely pronounce things.
  7. Of course. The conspiracy clown parade didn't form out of nowhere and the basis for some of their grievances are real. Their rabid stupidity and overreactions were the natural and predictable consequence of similarly stupid screeching from the left.
  8. The was self-evident. Way to waste your breath. I didn't make anything up. You clarified what you meant and my interpretation of your foolishness was confirmed. You're ignorant. I'm not saying that as someone outraged by your comments. I'm saying that because you say stupid things that are clearly, demonstrably false from the start, and then double-down and dig your heels in saying even stupider things to back yourself up. Gems like: The Reformation? How much do you know about that? I suspect very little. Not only was it in the 1500's, but it also represented a schism and a significant divergence in Christianity. One side "reformed" and the other side did not. Hundreds of years after the Reformation, protestants were still burning blasphemers alive and Catholics were still committing atrocities in the name of God around the world. While we're talking about "Judeo-Christian values", why don't we talk about how it supported hundreds of years of slavery, or the religious pogroms and Inquisitions in Europe. Have you heard about concentration camps? ?
  9. Though I think his work on convincing people to improve their diet/fitness is worthy, he's been regularly criticized (going back long before COVID was ever a thing) for poor research, misleading statements and a lack of evidence in his publications. Dr. Malhotra's main claim to fame is that he's outspoken, controversial and contrarian. The "Pioppi diet" he published is a laughingstock in the medical and dietary communities. No doubt Dr. Malhotra is "highly respected" by angry anoms on reddit and bored losers who get their news from Facebook, but cherry-picking the relatively few doctors who say the things you want to here and elevating them as top authorities is comical. The TDLR of your argument: The majority of doctors are wrong because spooks, Big Pharma and Klaus Schwab. The handful of dissenters saying exactly what you want to hear are the only people you're interested in. ?
  10. Oh he almost certainly does. Ask him what "culture" he thinks is the best.
  11. I did. I quoted it, explained why it was dumb, and then you told me I was being "dishonest" and tried to explain your point further, succeeding only in confirming my interpretation of your words and your own foolishness and ignorance. Go back and read it again - the quotes are still there! Now you're resorting to whining and pouting about being browbeaten, whilst telling me I'm the one being emotional. Nice projecting. Go have a beer and calm yourself down.
  12. Weird take considering my criticism has focused on your flimsy reasoning and I've pointed to numerous statements you've made that are demonstrably and obviously false. As before, you're just projecting.
  13. Nothing for what? What are you looking for a response to, specifically? "COME DEBATE ME," she says, with no explanation on what's to be debated.
  14. I'll pardon you because I know you're just projecting. There's no worthy distinction here. Islam is nothing beyond what the people who follow the faith make of it, which is the same as any major religion, including Christianity. What the books say is secondary to what the people who follow the faith believe it says, or is meant to say, because that's all that ultimately matters. Both faiths have sublimely stupid passages in their Holy texts that only the blindest and least thoughtful among the faithful would accept as anything but archaic allegory. Yet in your attempt to clarify what you figured was "dishonesty" on my part, you did nothing but reinforce and highlight the foolishness and ignorance for which I was criticizing you. You may not like that I did that, but there was nothing "emotional" or "dishonest" about it. That's just you projecting again.
  15. When you learn what a proper citation is, and you actually read your citations and can make sense out of them, there might be potential for debate. Sadly you mostly just make donkey noises and post links to things that don't say what you pretend they do. I have long suspected you don't even read your links beyond the headlines, because the alternative shakes my faith in humanity. I'd rather think you're just lazy and just repost stuff without examining it than believe that you actually exerted yourself into what you feel passes for critical thinking and come to the conclusions that you do.
  16. You've posted trash links that don't tell people what you say they do (not even referring to the stuff you claim), along with crap like facebook links. You wouldn't know a medical study if it was hardcovered and thrown in your face. ?
  17. The number of times you've had your dumb comments proven wrong and you just sort of power through on pure ignorance and angry rhetoric is special. You're not even worth responding to most of the time - just a lot of screeching noise.
  18. The clowns are out in full force in this thread. ?
  19. What do you hope to achieve with comments like this? It's infantile. You'd have never made the cut. That's for certain. They literally do weed out unstable personalities with demented worldviews.
  20. You trawl the alt-web for whatever sites are telling you what you already want to hear. You're not learning anything. You're not saying anything original. We've seen the comical quality of your citations in the past. It doesn't matter how stupid they are or if they don't even back up what you're trying to say. As long as the headline conforms with your clownish world views, you'll cite it here!
  21. Thought I'd also swing back to this little gem too. You're asking a dumb question that doesn't have a fair or reasonable answer, with entirely subjective but also extremely vague criteria on what makes a "culture" better, and equally nebulous qualifications on what defines a specific culture in the first place.
  22. No it doesn't. The idea that 2 billion Muslims around the world agree on everything, and that there are not prominent reformers among them is moronic from the start. The fact that you can do about 30 seconds of Google research to prove that wrong just makes the statement absurd. Everything else you've written here is therefore a waste of everyone's time reading. You're not speaking from knowledge or reason, but absolute, demonstrable ignorance and foolish prejudice.
  23. Hardline fundamentalist Islam does, but if you actually knew any Islamic girls ages 15-40 in Canada, you'd know they're living how they please rather than under the heel of Shariah like you'd want us to believe. While we're talking about hardline fundamentalism, let's not that Christians have fundamentalists of their own. That's because you don't understand them and you're sublimely ignorant on that which you speak of. That you're even asking the question like that is a testament to your foolishness, ignorance and closed-mindedness.
  24. This forum is so full of donkeys now it's mind-boggling.
  25. and Judeo-Christian tradition has supported slavery, witch-burnings, pogroms and global-scale genocide. Your moral compass is driven by absolute ignorance and cluelessness about the world and its history. Thump that Bible some more Bobby. ?
