I checked out elections.ca searched the database for both party and eda level didn't see anything there of less then 200 dollars, so while it must be reported, it is not publically available.
All donations must be reported to elections Canada, all Donations over $10.00 must have a donation receipt issued by the treasurer of the political organization.
They don't represent all Canadians because I can tell you that the appointments made in Alberta prior to Burt brown did not represent us.
They represented the interests of the Liberals party. If you go even further back mulrooneys changes represented hi interests. So these aren't unbiased people they will always put the interests of themselves and the party first. We may as well elect them so they are least accountable to somebody.
When the members of both parties attend caucus meetings and work for the betterment of their respective parties what the senate was ment to be doesn't happen in the political reality.
