Screened U.S. Animal Positive for Mad Cow Where did this animal come from? CBC just did a report on it but I am not sure what they said about the origin of the animal. What kind of effect could this have on the Canadian election campaign?

SES CPAC polling results relesed June 24, 2004: Canada Party/Jun 9/Jun 24/Change Libs: 33%, 34%, up 1% Cons: 37%, 30%, down 7% New Dem: 15%, 21%, up 6% Wow, the Liberals are slowly pulling away from the Conservatives, and the New Democrats are now only 9% from the Conservatives. This is lookin' mighty fine to me. -
What's to prevent the two right wing parties, the Liberals and the Conservatives from working together? I am sure Thomas d'Aquino is working out some strategy for that to happen right now.

montlid.....this is fantastic. Make sure it gets as wide a circulation as pssible right away, as there is not much time left to stop the: "Barbarians at the Gate" -
One thing for sure, as Canadians are now seeing Harper and the Conservatives up close, they seem to be wanting to move away from him/them. I think I may have to revise my seat projections.

Switched the order of the columns, as the Liberals are now starting to pull away from the Conservatives, and the New Democrats are now within 9% of the Cons at 21%. Mapleleafweb has added a new feature for the election campaign called the election report card. Has anyone else been following "the experts" comments and grades? It's fun! I guess "the experts" are just as biased as the rest of us because my impression is that if so-and-so person supports a political party, they will grade and write about that party more favourably. It's human nature.

It absolutely is one measure. Maybe we need a financial incentive to encourage folks to vote. Why do the rich always make sure they vote, eh?
-
Final Seat Projections: Cons: 118 Libs: 80 Bloc: 60 New Dem: 50 Total: 308 The Conservatives have come off a bit from their highs, not quite sure how much they have dropped There is still a big undecided vote out there, and some people are going to remain undecided right up until they are in the voter's booth. Monday will be an exciting night.

Purchasing a ticket to view Fahrenheit 9/11 is quickly becoming a political statement. This is big.. Can you imagine, all these so-called free speech proponents want the movie banned. Ha!
-
Fahrenheit 9/11 starts tomorrow, and the line-ups have already started. This is going to have an effect on the campaign. 'No moviegoer will be bored ...'
