  1. Lewis Mackenzie (former UN commander in Bosnia), ` The Albanaians didn't play anyone, what nonsense. NATO (Canada) Britian and the US knew exactly what they were doing. MacKenzie acknolwedges directly that " KLA was universally designated a terrorist organization and known to be receiving support from Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda was conveniently ignored." and goes further with ".we subsidized and indirectly supported their violent campaign" Brits, US and Alquaeda shoulder to shoulder, for a common cause. edited to add:The US/britian/nato was actively supporting the KLA, training, weapons etc., right as OBL, and other notable alquaeda members were on the ground training to support the US led action in the regions. again Alquaeda works to the benefit of US/British strategic interests.
  2. And this is news because? Hint: OGI Group is in Kirkuk, Iraq (Himrin Field) were having a retrospective look at CIA man Osama Bin laden, a retrospective, if you may? Osama and AlQuaeda, go together and AlQuaeda et al have served US and British interests so well. Particularily when it comes to pipelines!
  3. knock off the trolling, will you? You show your ignorance of fundamentalists, christians and pavlov's dog. I am not trolling, I am just calling it as I see it.!!!
  4. Ummmm....OK....so what is Canada's excuse? Canada follows, helping the Islamists in the former Yugoslavia, right along there with US and British Intelligence. There is alot of interesting info, on that chapter in the Trans/Balkan pipelines' life.
  5. why would they have needed to? Seriously? think about it.
  6. and the fundamentalist christians drool with anticipation, (like pavlov's dog's) when they will be able to do that also
  7. America used Islamists to arm the Bosnian Muslims The Srebrenica report reveals the Pentagon's role in a dirty war Richard J Aldrich Monday April 22, 2002 http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,...,688310,00.html Arms purchased by Iran and Turkey with the financial backing of Saudi Arabia made their way by night from the Middle East. Initially aircraft from Iran Air were used, or from James Bissett , former Canadian ambassador to Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Albania, 1990-1992.: National Post (Canada), 13 November 2001
  8. You know what is so interesting about 'AlQuaeda', they always show up whenever it suits US foreign policy/business interests , it's quite amazing, really. There is of course the whole AlQuaeda/Russia, thing. The genesis of it all. 'AlQuaeda' fighters were there, fighting Serbs, right when the US/Britian was initiating the Trans/Balkan pipelines Then luckily for US again, ' AlQuaeda' /9/11, just to help the US get into another country, they had been all hot and heavy for Afghanistan, and another pipeline. Then as of late, just when US/British interests in African oil are becoming more and more obvious, and necessary, there is 'AlQuaeda'! Now the US didn't need AlQuaeda for Iraq, though the administration did try to link them, but they already had the boogie man Saddam, so , it wasn't hugely important. I am thinking 'AlQuaeda' is a psychic organization, and they anticipate the US/Britians every need, before they need it, and then , they give the US an excuse to launch much WANTED excursions into said countries to fight for and set up pipeline deals, etc., oops, I mean fight terrorism, and save humanity
  9. actually, whoever said, it was not religion is correct, IMO, is is patriarchy, that is the problem. Religion the excuse or justification, the problem is men make the rules that suit them, and women, who step out of line get put in place, any excuse will do!
  10. well really, I can see the benefit of threads that fall into that category, because they give us the "warm and fuzzies" about ourselves, look over there , they are so bad and we are so great! Then we never have to actually accept/change our own shortcomings, double deals, flaws , whatever, cause we are smug in our 'superiority' and our knowledge and reinforcement of our 'superiority'. We are never wrong! ( we may be delusional, but, we are never wrong! lol) ooops editted to add ," lol", incase sharkman in particular, has responded without my knowledge, so I can avoid unrealistic accusations being made. Careful what you wish for sharkman?
  11. Thank-You for bringing that to my attention, I wondered what the problem was, now I KNOW. rofl!!! ;-) editted: thereby to reduce quotations as per forum request, and to make it easier for sharkman, in case he has already responded to said posting above , without my knowledge. lol
  12. of course you are ASSUMING, that a poster, actually KNEW someone else had already responded?? That is not always the case, because , by time one reads over their own posting and then decides to edit, someone else could have responded, and the originating poster would have NO knowledge of this. When one posts it to the forum, it is only there own post that shows on the screen at that time, and not any other responses. Now had you thought your wild accusations through in a rational manner, that would have occured to you. But, since you prefer accusations and gross assumptions, so be it. obviously you did not think through the process of posting on this forum, before you made numerous foolish comments.
  13. How could they be false? I write them? I wonder how many of yours are foolish? Tough for you if you don't like it! if I have something I wish to add, I can! if I wan't to correct error's , I can! if i want to edit for brevity, I can! Get over it! Ask the moderator if this is ok for me to do, you can do it also, everyone on this forum can. Why do you think we have an option to edit?
  14. This doesn't explain why the other religions are false. This doesn't give truth to the Judeo-Christian God in any way either. In fact, there is example after example in the Bible, particularly the old testament, that non-believers are to be killed. Zoroastrianism is perhaps the oldest religion known, predating Judeo-Christian and Muslim beliefs by thousands of years, yet their supreme being Ahura Mazda, is not the God you're implying is true. It is much more likely that uneducated populations who have superstitious beliefs hammered into them are killing one another out of ignorance. Rather than saving people, religion is the catalyst for death here. If God is benevolent, there is no reason he should allow such horrific suffering to occur among people who don't know any better. sharkman is merely preaching a "my religion is better then your religion" sermon. which is irrelevant to your questioning.
  15. all religions are false! to follow your thinking, since they are all largley the same!!!!!!!
  16. My bet is there's a spot opening up for him at the World Bank I wonder about that also, what with wolfowitz going?
  17. gosthacked , it is scary stuff. I agree. personally, I buy locally, as much as possible. watch the processed foods, and grow our own, organically, in a backyard garden. IMO, in food production, profit reigns supreme and to heck with everything else. I am not against making money, before anyone jumps to conclusions, I just think when profit is the ONLY goal, everything else suffers, this is a broad criticism, as it can be applied across the spectrum, to a number of industries. Very lax practices to keep costs down, factory farming, slave labour, just the garbage they feed to animals to produce the meat we eat, YUK!
  18. It never ends with you does it? The lack of anything intelligent to say, reducing yourself, to blubbering, blathering namecalling. Fortunately for me, I am so totally aware that is all you ever have. So is that Procter Silax or Braun? I love that you just keep on showing me as correct, and yourself as a bufoon, and you just don't get it! It's amazing and yet hilarious! You run off and have fun with it, ok?
  19. I've never tried to justify the attack on Iraq. " I'm sure it had been talked about and even some initial planning planning done but no intention until after 9/11. Be specific. A pre-emptive attack can be very much self defense. A comparison of the Six Day War with the Yom Kippur War is an excellent example. Israel suffered a quarter of the the casualties during the Six Day War compared to the Yom Kippur War when they were the subject of a surprise attack. In 67 they didn't wait for the Arab countries to complete their buildup and attack at their convenience. a pre-emptive war is not self-defense. self-defense: # An affirmative defense to a crime. The use of reasonable force to protect yourself. Self-defense shields a person from criminal liability for harm inflicted on a aggressor. For example, a robbery victim who uses the robber's own weapon against him during a struggle won't be liable for assault and battery since he can show that his action was reasonably necessary to protect himself from imminent harm. www.leanlegal.com/dictionary/s.asp # the act of defending yourself # Self-defense usually refers to the use of violence to protect oneself and is a possible justification for this otherwise illegal act. For you to be self-defensive, you have to be being attacked, it is not based on psychic interpretation, of what you think, maybe, someone might do.
  20. It never ends with you does it? The lack of anything intelligent to say, reducing yourself, to blubbering, blathering namecalling. Fortunately for me, I am so totally aware that is all you ever have.
  21. Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware you are a fruitcake.....never mind then and watrch out for those black helicopters Oh, did you not like my use of the word alleged? too bad, for you. I use the word alleged because I DO NOT believe the official conspiracy theory, it has always been full of holes. You weren't aware, I was a "fruitcake" lol! It never ends with you does it? The lack of anything intelligent to say, reducing yourself, to blubbering, blathering namecalling. Fortunately for me, I am so totally aware that is all you ever have.
  22. Ah, you were very fortunate to have a Mother willing to question authority and the staus quo, leading to free thinking on a number of subjects. Glorious!!
  23. "How was Hitler's attack on Poland 'pre-emptive'?Poland was no threat to Germany. He dressed convicts up as Polish soldiers and had them killed "attacking" a German installation as a pretense to invade." Poland was no threat as Iraq was no threat, NO WMD's. Similarities? even more.! Propaganda techniques to cause fear in the populace, to justify a pre-emptive attack and you even know about them, same as the lead up to Iraq. "As far as I know there was no intention to invade Afghanistan before 9/11" then you don't know much and I urge you to look into that. "If you want to call 9/11 a pre-emptive attack go ahead," Nope, I don't want to, that is M. Dancer and Your way of thinking -NOT MINE. You two are the ones claiming pre-emption is self-defence, which is just too much baloney for me. Your fist fight analogy is flawed, because when in a fist fight, face to face, with an adversary you know, you will attack or be attacked. Pre-emptive war rhetoric is non-relevant, when the alleged attacker is half a world away, or across a border, and is non-personal.
  24. Just a comment, on the lack of response or concern at kids being terrorized by a gunman, causing the children to cry and beg for their lives? OMG! Gosh, figleaf, perhaps to garner enough outrage, for these kids, these teacher should have terrorized them and then tossed brokeback mountain on , that would have got the rage on, amongst the posters here. I just couldn't help but notice, the weird lack of comments on this news story vs, the brokeback mountain on. This is far more outrageous, then one girls lawsuit, out of a whole class, who's grandparents look to me like they are pushing it. Aah, priorities, priorities!
  25. You hit the nail on the head, in a very succinct fashion. These people who hold these views are extremists, yet fail to see in themselves, they are the sameas any other extremists, inc, the ME ones. They are extremists, because the espouse such EXTREME views. Then when you point this out a volley of name calling is sure to follow. I guess though what can one expect from that mindset?
