  1. You should pick up picket signs before you pick up rifles and torches. Violence would be a last resort if their best peaceful efforts fail.
  2. Exactly. 8.5 months before their birth just kidnap the dad for a month, or just offer him a business trip alone for that time...or otherwise interrup the conception (you won't know exactly WHEN they will conceive), and you're good to go. No killing needed. Or you could divert their life path somehow, or sabatoge their rise to power in the case of the leaders.
  3. But a non-violent one. There is no suitable justification for violence, unless it's a last resort. And I don't see tens of thousands of natives engaging in civil disobedience, so they aren't at "last resort" stage yet. It worked for India. They've jailed a heck of a lot of natives, but they can't jail them all. Or maybe that's why the CPC is making more prison space?
  4. Well, maybe 1%. A lot higher if Israel/the West does something stupid like attack them with them having nukes, which would be about 1% chance also. So ya, 1% (unscientific estimate lol)
  5. Thanks for posting that waldo.
  6. added to pros list "Supported repealing "don't ask, don't tell". Also have changed by grade a few times lol, now it's B- . He's ok, not great not horrible i think is my point. Compared to other Presidents he's been fairly decent.
  7. Didn't know what thread to put this under, but just wow: http://imgur.com/gallery/KFyCx Kind of makes you look at things differently, huh? We live in a society where most depictions of the naked human body or 2 people having sex with each other is highly censored or banned and deemed profane, but violent tv/films/cartoons/comics/videogames are ok. We let our kids play GI Joe with gun replicas and play videogames with "heroes" blowing the crap out of each other but heaven forbid if they see a nipple!
  8. jbg, i think this is fantastic. Every community should have this. What's wrong with everyone doing this once every month or 2?
  9. Agreed. It only takes a few keystrokes.
  10. I have a robotic dog. It's great, it doesn't shed or pee or poop, and I've programmed it to only bark at people I don't like! I have a close family member with pure-bred. It has a liver shunt problem. Also, why haven't we bred dogs for domestic labour? I'd like a dog that can be easily trained to pull a lawnmower or vacuum cleaner or shovel by driveway. Ok i'm kidding, but i'm surprised some sick people haven't tried to do this more.
  11. I've had enough of you. Apparently the "ignore" feature doesn't block your trolling comments that are quoted from others. Just because your real life sucks doesn't give you the right to come on here and take it out on me and many others. I have finally decided to report you to the mods. IMO you should either be forced to cut the constant abusive trolling nonsense or be banned. I will not cease my efforts until one of these is achieved, and will start a petition if need be. I'm confident I could acquire many eager MLW signatures. I look forward to not reading your response. Amen "ignore" feature!
  12. I made the grade before I wrote the list. You're right, I re-evaluated and change it to a "C". Above would be a blunder, not a massive blunder. Did anyone die as a result?
  13. On Jan. 20, 2009, Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States. That makes it 3 years in office for him. How would you grade his job as President thus far? Of course, please try to provide some explanation of your grade. My Grade: B- Pros: - Got most US forces out of Iraq - Got Bin Laden (though can't give him all, or even most, of the credit for that) - At least kind of tried to close Gitmo - Finally got a health care reform bill passed into law - Avoided a US economic depression - Economy aside, has been fairly effective at avoiding massive blunders, in contrast to his predecessor. - has avoided worldwide nuclear apocalypse. hurray! - Supported repealing "don't ask, don't tell" Cons: - the economy still sucks, & his efforts to fix it have been sub-par at best - has handled the US debt issue poorly - Afghanistan is still a ridiculous stalemate and mostly a waste of time. Should just leave. - Same old imperialistic b.s. US foreign policy as the last 60+ years - little to no effort on campaign/party finance & lobbying/special interest reform - handled BP oil spill poorly - is a bit of a wimp & a sellout (especially domestically), often trying appease everyone instead of having the balls to stand up for what's right - is a typical Washington piece of turd (see above) - Washington still functions like crapola, though certainly not all his fault. - Gitmo still open - i'm sure there's more but it would take forever to type LOL
  14. The author's point was that it's stupid to make policy based on rigid ideological generalizations rather than what's logical & supported by facts/stats & on what's best for the country. And he's right.
  15. Shady's not-stop use of annoys the heck out of me, it's rude IMO how he uses it. I worry his eyes are going fall into the back of his head he does it so much. That's about it though. Thabks for the heads-up
  16. I never said he was completely honest/ethical, but he's far better compared to most other politicians.
  17. Oh, ya I think you might be right. Sorry bud, apology accepted.
  18. Are you being sarcastic or sincere? Are you also being sarcastic about Obama, because I think he's a bit of a phony liar myself who says what will get him elected. IMO he's a huge sellout, and doesn't speak candidly about opinions that may be unpopular politically but he believes is right as people like Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel, Jesse Ventura and others do. Obama just says broad inspirational talking points that will get him elected, and yet he hasn't acted on half of them. Also, I'll admit I don't know everything about Ron Paul's campaigning or career, and I know he's done a few douchebaggy things, but as I said in my last comment, no candidate is perfect and I can think of few politicians more honest.
  19. Well, i agree with you that he knew it was coming, you could tell he had the answer prepared and in his back-pocket ready to go. Maybe it was a bit of a hanging curveball you're right, however I give him huge credit for responding to things on his feet as they came, like John King's response etc and the fact it was the first question etc.
  20. I disagree that it was a hanging curve, that's what makes the answer so great. When I first heard the question i was like "oh crap, how you gonna get out of this one Newt!" then BAM! More like a 98mph fastball he knocked 550ft into the parking lot.
  21. People can disagree with his prior actions and the sincerity of his answer...but that debate answer vs John King was the greatest debate answer I've seen in my life by any politician...ever. I've never seen anyone dig themselves out of a hole like that!
  22. Completely agree. He may not be the best candidate, but the man deserves a medal for the way he has handled himself as a politician. I wish all politicians were as honest/sincere and conducted themselves as he does...minus a few of his attacks ads etc. No candidate is perfect in conduct, but I can think of few better.
  23. With all the fuss now, there is virtually no way these bills will be passed. They are horrible bills trying to address a legit problem...just not in a smart/fair way. Even if made law there's a decent chance they'd go to Supreme Court (or what have you) over free speech protests.
