  1. I am throwing around partisan rhetoric? Oh my! It has to do with the fact that if any thing is shaddy with Harper awarding a no bid contracts, he cannot be held accountable, how is that partisan anything? And oh yes it has a basis even democracy Watch has launched an action against it.as i showed you in the link. That is called being a watchful citizen of a country, and you can bet your boots, if the Liberals had just awarded several no bid contrats while making accountability laws that excluded the PM and the upper echelons, people including myself would be screaming, especially people on the right. I certainly think you would be Canadian Blue would you not? I think your being partisan by giving Harper a pass on both awarding no bid contracts and on the ethics and accountability issues. Does that mean your trolling? No.
  2. Oh lookie here, even Britian has made comments about the unrighteous, and nasty hanging of Saddam. BBC reports Britians Stance on Saddam Hanging
  3. I sure hope you get to work as the Liberal's pollster with such sophisticated knowledge of polling techniques. Nice analysis. At least it is actually factual, unlike saying the CPC are ahead, and not even posting the margin of error that shows in fact they are NOT! People out there, beware please of polls that are stated without their showing the margin of error, stats without the margin of error showing are useless, that is why news that cites polls always SAY the margin of error! CNews
  4. Well we know who will not be held accountable if things come to light that this NO BIDDING contract and it seems those that say Harper did not impliment all Gomery's because he wanted the top to be held accountable. Harper Liar Liar Pants on Fire
  5. The Conservatives are up three points. You do understand how margin of error works, don't you? It means that it is just as likely the Conservatives are up 6 points as the Liberals and Conservatives are exactly tied. Of course I do do you? Apparently not!, it could even be, CPC down 3.1 points and the Liberals up 3.1 points, thereby the Liberals could be in the lead. Or even the NDP up 3.1 points further and them both down. The margin of error is + or - 3.1 for ALL parties. Thereby rendering the results of the poll at a dead heat between the Liberals and CPC and nothing more. Nothing can be determined from this poll actually. You can bet if it meant the CPC were 6 points ahead Decima would have reported that!
  6. Oh, Canadian Blue, I notice how you skipped over the fine and very accurate quoted article from the NATIONAL SECURITY ARCHIVE about USA's cupability and where Iraq/Saddam got the money to buy the guns etc from the other countries, as I figured you would. Here some more about the money Iraq used and who set it for them please do read the link, you might learn something.. National Security Archive The only thing Harper is culpable for is not saying a word about the hanging! We are a country that does not believe in the death sentence. And talk of mine regarding Harper is on topic, to ascribe another meaning is just pure propaganda deflection away from topic. As is speaking about anything else, that is not about the topic, at any other site given for reference. Also, I see you have nothing to say about the post I put from the CBC, concerning the ugly esculating violence that has occured in Iraq because of the USA's latest foolishness in martyring Saddam, all you were is critical of a typo or spelling error in order to deflect away. But of course the Bush admin had to get rid of the link that tied this administration to Saddam from the get go, so they could not let him stand trial for the Kurds and testify implicating them further now could they. And yes my links given, all more than prove USA's involvement in creating and supporting Saddam. Even the infamous picture of Rumsfield shaking Saddam's hand back in the 80's is enough. Interesting that Italy, where Harper is buying our planes, is really taking action about the wrongful hanging of Saddam. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6238131.stm
  7. 110% heh? I have checked and its not, funnily enough they did not use this valley it was taboo, and some land is being claimed by more than 1 Band, hence your 110%. And it is not quite a simple as you make it sound there is a difference between reserve land and hunting grounds. Not going to start with you as you seem to believe what you want. The money being spent on the military IS my money, just as it is everyone else's in Canada. Take those billions and resolve Treaties.
  8. Actually, Decima tends to put the NDP 2 points lower than any other polling org does. We will see in a couple of days when the others come out. No, the CPC will not keep ALL their seats in PQ, the numbers don't support it, they would have to make a huge rebound, and it's not possible given why PQ is MAD.
  9. Funny, I own land in BC that is not up for claims. And if those who have benefited from Treaties being broken need to step up and sacrifice then so be it. Maybe the federal government should stop spending billions on the Miltary and devert it to Treaty settlement?!
  10. No public funds to NHL teams, CFL teams.
  11. It's NOT a WAR, we have never declared WAR, it was supposed to be reconstruction of a nation, with NO offensive. Please stop calling it a war, calling it a war validates it when it should have NO validation.
  12. Very good post Rue! The majority of Cnadians think like you THANK GOD! I do not believe they believe First Nations are terrorists, they just want to label all "brown" people as terrorists. Its call fear mongering and fostering racism. The bottom line is people should NOT have bought their land, if it was tied up in Treaty. It means they fully intended to support the breaking of Treaties. It is not other Canadians responsibilities if people bought land that they now have to give up. It should never have been taken away from the First Nations who had it through Treaty Rights anyway. If people would have respected Treatty rights long ago, instead of buying land cheap that they knew was treaty land, maybe things could have been settled long ago.
  13. It's safe to say they project their views all the time for everything, that is why they still think they have a majority government, why they think self determination rights can be opened for dialogue, why they think Canadians don't agree with SSM, why they think all Canadians believed we should have went to Iraq and killing Saddam a good thing, why they think a majority of Canadians support Afghanistan. They even think the rest of the world thinks them, or should think like them!
  14. The CPC and Liberals are in a dead heat, the poll had a 3.1 % margin of error, good try though on trying to spin those CPC wheels into a lead. The poll also showed that indeed the NDP have gone up since the poll prior, while the Greens have dropped, guess there are some women and men out there pretty ticked off at May! Look for those numbers to keep dropping for the Green, unless May can now grab from the CPC as she is trying. But the major story is in the regional numbers: Quebec, the Bloc had 41 per cent, compared with 27 per cent for the Liberals, 14 per cent for the Tories, 11 per cent for the NDP and five per cent for the Greens, there has never been a federal leader more un-popular in PQ than Harper. The Liberals now have 27% and the Cons 14%, the closing of the gap has nothing to do with the new leader the Libs have finally gotten. It has everything to do with bad Harper policies. Look for those numbers to keep dropping for the CPC in PQ, they may be able to retain a couple of their 7 seats in Quebec City but that is it. Also look for Green numbers to drop in PQ.
  15. Saw a really funny new clip, where Muslims and people from the prairies are mocking those from Tarana, (Toronto) while the women Muslims were mocking the male Muslims and taking a stab at the NHL.
  16. First Nations pay while WE live in luxury! That's all the commentary this thread deserves!
  17. Harper embarassed Canada yet again by keeping his mouth shut against more USA culpability in IRAQ regarding the hanging of Saddam. USA The Creator of Saddam
  18. Oh, and Canadian Blue, never think I don't have back ups. And wiki is not solid info back up, anyone can write anything they want there and then link it The link that goes to this Saddam USA proof, is extensive and it has many other offical links to it as well. Saddam the USA's boy
  19. Interesting, just as was said Saddam is now a martyre, and the trial was a sham, and shame on the Harper government! Saddam a Martyre, Harper a fool!
  20. Canadianblue, as I am not going to waste anytime on responding to someone, who disclaims my links. Links that include offical government links to support their sources, but thinks that using wikipedia is a fine thing to use to support their own. Nor am I going to bother with someone who uses obvious and blatent propaganada tools instead of engaging in real dialogue such as: strawman, red herring, deflect away, oversate, and attack the poster as a person in stead of the commentary, just to name a few. It would seem sir, all you are interested in is trying to rewrite history to conform to what you wish it to be. That said, If I come across a post of yours, that is not transparent and/or condemning others with less than transparent information I am just going to say its wrong with no debate or support reasons, and then move along. Or if you sir, are demeaning posters, like you do me, I wil also point it out, there is no need for personal commentary whatsoever, I am sure others read the rules here as I did. Also everyone with true decernment realizes, just from this little dialogue alone, what's going on with Canadian Blue. Have a good day sir, hoping to see you posting a bit more factually and a lot less personally in the future.
  21. Not talking about equipment now really are we? http://www.bnfp.org/neighborhood/jmoore.htm Saddam and USA best friendsNow that should give you enough information and dates to start your education of Iraq USA history that Rev Jesse Jackson spoke of quite knowingly. But in case you don't have enough here is some more: Rummy Great Friends With Saddam http://www.unknownnews.net/saddam.html Funny how you seem to know some things but not others, but at any rate, I will respond in case you do have gaps in your knowledge base. Again it is for comonm public knowledge that USA funded Iraq, and were buddies with Saddam up until his invasion of Kuwait. Hence Jesse Jackson's commentary. Oh, the LATE 1990's, as opposed to the reason in 1993 that I gave that had absolutely nothing to do with wmd's.Now regarding 1998's bombing, I think the Star Inquiry covered that indepth. Apparently, he used trumped up intelligence to bomb Iraq to deflect attention away from the Lewinsky sex scandal happening at home. . Bill Lied and People Died Bill lied and people Died Again, it had nothing to do with weapons of mass destruction. Sure did, see above and everywhere on line. BTW the Star Inquiry was for common public knowledge. As you can see, what I said is common public knowledge and I told you I could back it up but did not have to. The Star Inquiry was the best watched show in town. Sorry to say, I had already started responding before I read this tidbit. Or perhaps I would not have responded to your caustic attempts to demean with sexist remarks. And then again I might have just to exhibit the truth of things. However, perhaps you get the idea now, that as I said; I can and will back my statements and have done so at length here and often, but again it is not required formally if there is a large body of information that is common public knowledge.
  22. But perhaps a little more thought would help the insight, and would helpdraw some actual truth out? Have you ever given any thought to the fact that the other Arab nations, that have the money and power, do not help Palistinians because they are buddies with the USA. Its a case of your friend is my friend. Do you ever give any thought to the fact that other British Colonial nations do not give help by building factories etc for their brothers and sisters from other British Colonial Nations who may need it? They don't do it so why should Arab nations do it? Do you really think ALL Arabs hate ALL Jews? If so, you need to revise that opinion too.
  23. Of course you will pre-judge him in his role. Long before he brings a plan to the table? Wtf He's going to play a musical instrument? What he will bring to the table has already been written by the NDP, or have you forgotten that Stephen asked the NDP to assist him with bringing the Clean Air Act to something that worked? I am sure you haven't as the NDP had threatened a non-confidence motion over the nonsensical Clean Air Act. But I am sure the CPC would like Canadians to forget just who wrote the new Clean Air Act. The history of Baird's actions in ON with Harris preceed him and in IMO this means that Baird is not going to play well with ON environmentalists. They are going to remmber well who wrote the NEW Clean Air Act.
  24. Oh, he will be judged long before that happens, this snips from the article says it all: And of course the NDP has already written up what he already needs to know and do, so..... viola!
  25. [ Oh thats right, the retired General was rubber stamping / supporting the no contest bid, by saying they had strict guidlines, even though the Spartan, Harper seems mad for, is unproven. Sso the military is getting all the other unneeded billions of dollars worth of goodies that are on order. I mean after all, there ARE comparable aircraft, that are proven, so why this sole contract if nothing is shady? Moreoever, that actual non-retired military has remained silent. Thats nice, however, that's not the way a democratic government works, especially one with a minority status. Harper is not giving them the money he is telling them what he is buying. How much military experience has Harper again? Oh, that's right NONE! No it's not just an expession, it's a sexist remark and a gratuitous slamming of women and nothing more. Your comment does not address the comments you were supposedly answering, and apparently the sections of the paper you are reading is not the news. Now there you go again, off on a tangent that has no logic to the discussion at hand or indeed my words. And blue, you are better than putting false words in people's mouths as you have done here just now and elsewhere prior, you need only embrace your inner goodness for it to shine through. I have never advocated anyone being hanged not even GHB, I do not agree with the death penalty. I see you never answered the questions, nor supported your comments so I guess you do use empty rhetoric. And no, there is no crying wolf, and all the effort I see being put into trying to deflect away from these suspicious un-tendered contracts, could appear to be evidence in and of its self. Also, I will not respond to the compare with the USA it is of no relevance. No, it is not the case of trusting the military, Harper told them what planes were being bought and what other hardware was being bought as well. No government gives up that type of spending to the military. It would be irrational to even assume so. There are such things as budgets and spending committees you know. The articles have been clear about where the decision came from originally. And no we did not see that in the article, what we saw was them saying no other plane could meet requirements, and that has been proven to not be the case. Please refrain from calling me son or any other slurr that is an attempted silencing put down. And I have provided a good deal of information for my points with absolutely no rhetoric. Moreover, Canadians have been seeing it just as I have. One thing you are correct about though, is there is a lot more to it than that!
