The physical effects of carrying it only impact upon the woman, and if the host dies so does the embryo, developing into a fetus. It again is all about the woman. Her life is tied up for 10 months, not males. Males truly are nothing more than sperm donars until that fetus, becomes alive at birth. If life commences at conception then, which is does not, then what about frozen embryos sittting there in freezers for decades? Are you saying that those embryos are life that is alive? Of course not, tis sillyto think so, they do not become alive until a certain point in the implantation into a host just as all other embryos do. There are no abortions laws in Canada, as abortion laws were refused by the Supreme Court as they acknowledged, that anything along that line would interfer with women's rights in the area of self-determination, conscience and privacy. Apparently, they were not prisoners, but "detainees", which are apparently Afghans civilians being picked up and detained and released again. Now "prisoners" are turned over to the Afghans, and not released. This begs 2 questions: 1. why are the Canadian military picking up Afghan civilians and detaining them, and then releasing in the first place? 2. Should the Canadian military turn over prisoners to the Afghan government? Jenna, you're failing to realize what the purpose of all those attackes was for, and that was to make the page flip over and into the next one, thereby removing the FACTS and information, concerning 911, from those just tunnning in. The page flip also serves for those who want to deflect away from the facts, then be able to say to say: "you have proven nothing" because of course you cannot now repost the same exact information from the same source, as there are rules against double posting information. Excuse me, may I ask why some seem to think that the Canadian government is separate and appart from Canadians? This means by way of government money. The money that the Canadian government has to use at it's disposal is Canadians money. Moreover, it is money given, to maintain infrastucture and to fund programs/services for Canadians, that Canadians want and/or need. In effect, Canadians want our OWN money to be spent in the ways and manners that benefit us. It is NOT the governments money, there is NO teet to suck. Tax money is still our money, given to a central body, to maintain our country and our societal needs and people should start remembering this, instead of accepting the notion that somehow it is not OUR money once the government has it. The government is us, not an entity in its own right. Democratric dictates mean that if Canadians were active in a governmental participatory manner, the government would be using our tax money, the way Canadians wanted it used, as opposed how it is currently, allowing the government to act as if it is an authority unto itself spending money how it wants.
