Balancing a Budget is balancing a budget!

Or maybe aliens from another planet did it..

LOL.. An article that incriminates the Conservative Party but a headline that is easily misinterpreted....

Pin Number.. Extension number to Racknine Personal Conversation with Racknine Databank of Conservative System List that mimics data inputed from the Conservative Databank A call impersonating Elections Canada sending Non Conservative Voters to to wrong polls A Queud up phonecall to impersonate the Liberal Party and Send a false phonenumber to the Liberal Party. Now let me think... Who benefits? Or intened to benefit from this. THere is ALOT of activity that has to be cooridinated short of one pin number...
-
No evidence is leading in the direction of the Liberals regarding the Election Canada Fraud through Racknine... All evidence continues to lead inside the infrastructure of the Conservatives data base and their Corporate Telemarketers.

Revenue Expenditures yup.. very different LOL,,, I just realized this thread drift is about the NDP..lol

Cullen is a great guy. Its good to have ideas.. too bad his main plank is a turkey. That will get him attention and votes.. but no growth.. not unless he drops his main campaign plank. -
I find it interesting that .... RackNine only did contracts with the Conservative Party and did not provide his service to other political parties. That he received a call directly from "Pierre Poutine" on his personal extension. That only Conservatives have access to this information, data, access to Racknine and direct access to Matt Meir. That RackNine has a floating webpage developer who has never set foot in Canada but has access to all sorts of ConservativeMPs and Conservative Insiders. That the Resume of this webpage developer is fraudulent with many misrepresentations as to Education and Employment. Why so many shams for one company? Racknine was a Conservative Operative in the federal election. No one else had access without being a Conservative. The Data is from the Conservatives... the Pin Numbers are from the Conservatives.. the backroom phone calls are only available to Conservatives... The Motive (however flawed) would only support the Conservatives. And the Conservative Campaign Manager, and others are in Hiding... One thing that is of interest is that a pattern started developing a few years back with these fraudulent Robocalls impersonating another party and sending out messages on that partys behalf during hte middle of hte night. While those were treated as water under the bridge in previous electons.. The fact that a Conservative pin number queued up a Liberal Message on the Racknine Server.... impersonating the Liberals... is a smoking gun. Its pretty clear what Conservative Operatives were doing. All the mud thrown out in the last 3 weeks by the Conservative government has not stuck. And its becoming obvious why the Conservatives inhibit the investigation.

Where do you find Medical Treatment more affordable and accessible then in Canada? We all want lower medical service pricing.. the Government sets the pricing that can be billed. Some goverments allow significant users fees and delistings. Canada has the most affordable healthcare in the world. Yes the doctors resisted this and there are some dinosaurs that would love to bring back Private Medicare .. which would really bust your hiney if you think that our services are costly today.. let alone all the insurance BS and denials that occur in these more costly systems. So.. there are some decent doctors whom make a decent living and are saying there is an unbalance in the taxation system that punishes those with the least amount of resources... Nothing new here.... -

I was of the impression that Each Provincial Government is responsible for the pricing of medical services. -
Most parties of that era were Rural, but the CCF focused on the Cooperatives after the collapse of the Federal United Farmers Party foray into and out of Being the Federal Government. In Ontario.. the United Farmers ended up forming the base of the Liberal Party.. thus the Old Nixon Liberals were very Rural small c conservatives IIRC. The CCF has had labour ties for its entire existance.. they were never formal.. but were made formal in the 60s with the creation of the "NEW PARTY" The Federal NDP have never been in power to offer the "Rural Farmers bones" but the Provincial CCF/NDP were able to do so for decades longer. The Ontario Liberals eventually became what we see today. The CCF of Sask/Manitoba became very city oriented after decades of holding back the tide of corporate farming and the diminishing of the family farm. As Mr. Smith would say.. it was inevitable. The History of the farming community is to be ignored, unless they take matters into their own hands. Today there aren't enough of them. Goodbye Wheatboard.. Hello Agricorp. The CPC is not the friend of the farmer today. However, they have few ... and if you follow the history.. the farming community has played an active role in all political parties... And no political party gives them much more then lip service today. There is no block of votes anymore and at one time the Farmers were the "Small Businessman" of the era. The CCF was the largest small business party in western canada. The CCF/NDP polling numbers and seats never really changed over its 70years of existance. The biggest changes came in the last 5 years... The world is a different place then in 1935 CCF era.

Bolded in case no one believes you..I know just how much you detest him. And I agree.. I think the Americans are going to cut bait and then the whole project is mute. The only thing the Tories did was mislead Canadians in the last election with their Talking points saying the Contract was already signed. And no one will remember that except government procurement policy wonks. -

Yes Yes, but not to use them as a replacement for the Military as you were alluding to with regards to peacekeeping. There is a time and a place for everything. -

You will have pay more WB.. cause someones gotta Pay for our government. -
1) why did you start another thread if you want to continue to talk about Rae? There already was a thread going 2) To get you back to your topic thread title... in Canada as a country... You can start here.. http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/023/013/023013-7040.1-e.html Political Cartoons were the medium of attack ads as many people couldn't read.. and Newsprint was the medium. Attack Ads can be traced back to the Romans if you must.. probably Greek ones too... I believe as long as their has been a democracy and a media.. there have been attack ads.
-
Yes the horror of all things... The NDP has the best track record in all provinces across Canada. Compared to the other parties.. the NDP has only had one Turkey .. and he is mentioned in these attack ads.. and has moved on to be the Showman and smoothtalker of the Liberals. the NDP appear very happy to see Rae with the Liberals. If Conservative Grant Devine had been Smart, he could probably have gotten a Liberal Membership rather then be treated as Persona non Grata with the Conservatives. He could be challenging Rae for the Leadership. Even Rae couldn't do what Grant Devine did.. Wipeout a parties name in a Province so that it can never recover. But neither are fiscally wise. Compare this to All the NDP Premiers and one wonders how come the other parties don't fair so well. As Bad as Rae acted as a NDP Premier.. the unbalanced budget was but a drop compared to the Current McGuinty Liberals. And quite Frankly the Federal Conservatives ... talk the talk.. but are full of it when it comes to balancing the books. Its because they have been big spenders and love big mega projects. Conservatives reduce income and increase spending. Its a matter of time before an NDP Federal Government is formed. Its far more likely they will govern like Douglas... cause they must!

I agree

It was Ignatiefs record and his response to the question that destroyed the Liberals. Had he had a solid answer... even something like this... "While you were in Ottawa, I was meeting the people of Canada" or even a good deflection.. but the fact is.. the "Debater" blew it in the Debate and the Liberals went on a spiral. This was Ignatiefs Turner Moment. That is why debates occur and every 20 to 30 years a candidate gets mortally wounded. The Liberals finished third and Conservative Polling numbers remained at the threshold of Majority throughout the Campaign. Ignatiefs Campaign on the steady trajectory after the debate would have resulted in a few more seats for the Liberals.. less Seats for the NDP and likely a Conservative Majority similar to what we see today. The NDP managed to take seats from Conservatives and Liberals, and Lost Seats to Conservatives and Liberals just as the Liberals and Conservatives won and lost seats from each other and the NDP. The Conservatives managed a Majority... not like that has never happened before... but the NDP is the Largest Opposition Party in some 30 years. And 2 of those Majorities came back to back after the Trudeau Era... I don't think anyone watched the NDP adds.. or they were all that effective.. I do believe the debate highlights and the media focus on the NDPs growing strength in Quebec and their fascination with "the wave" then OrangeCrush.. had alot more to do with voter impression then the NDP adds.. But you are correct.. the Conservatives... Laid the groundwork for the "impression of Ignatief" but they were not responsible to any large degree for the final outcome. I believe much of this had to do with Ignatieff and his campaign really and truly stunk.

And the reports keep coming in... http://www.canada.com/Robocalls+rang+North+Island+says+Leonard/6347163/story.html Not Close to Guelph Ontario.. "The first person approached me at the Seedy Saturday event and said that they had gotten one of those robocalls at the time of the election and did complain to the local elections office who gave them information to make a formal complaint to Elections Canada, which she did do," Leonard said. "She lived in Comox at the time and had been redirected to the Comox Mall. She was mad because that's not where you vote and she knew. She also told me that she had friends that were in Little River and the husband had answered the phone to a robocall as well. "Then I found out that somebody in Merville had received one of these calls, directing her to go to the old Tsolum School, several kilometres away, rather than where she had voted for decades at Merville Hall. She's made a complaint to Elections Canada." Leonard said she also got an email from another woman saying she'd received a robocall and had reported it to Elections Canada. "Because a number of them had actually made complaints to Elections Canada officials at the time, I feel pretty confident that they're valid concerns that were raised and that they actually did occur," Leonard said. " I find it very strange that the Conservatives and their Supporters wish to minimize this fraudulent activity.

And you are sounding like one... Its pretty clear to me there is no difference between bad liberal governance and bad conservative governance... well maybe a budget surplus vs budget deficit.. But still seeing how quickly the Cons have lost their way... its almost since the day they got elected, they started heading down that Mulroney path..

Peace Keepers have been an effective measure to protect innocents.. not take sides and behave as a buffer between sides involved in conflict. Any soldier involved in a peacekeeping mission, if involved in a firefight/combat and are injured are not treated in the same regard as a combat peace making mission(This is an injustice on our part). Peacekeeping missions are more difficult in many ways for Military Commanders but the outcomes are often more successful when their is a global community behind the mission. There does not tend to be the Blowback one has when taking a side in a dispute. Peacemakers or simply Combat Missions are designed soley to achieve an objective and victory for one side over another. This is much easier for Military Commanders but not necessarily the best outcome for long term outcomes. Peackeeping can and does work Peacemaking can and does work There are those who want to get rid of the peacekeeping aspect for simplicity. Global communities were safer when world powers and world leaders were engaging in PeaceKeeping. Not all conflicts can be prevented but having forces to aid in Peacekeeping means less conflicts. Peacemaking means the conflict is at hand... No Peace until the conflict is resolved. Taking sides in war is nothing new. I believe everyone understands that.. no matter what the term. Allies, Axis, Coalition, Peacemakers... Not taking sides and preventing disputes using a military buffer is relatively modern.. more difficult for those in the middle but the outcomes are better in many cases. And No the RCMP is NOT prepared, trained or equiped to handle the role of Peacekeepers. The RCMP could not handle a corrupt gang ridden country like Haiti.. Let alone two countries where societal breakdowns are the norm in times of conflict and human trafficking, money laundering, criminal activity are in the background, but in the foreground is conflict. All criminal activity happens in a vacuum. I prefer our RCMP remain in Canada.. otherwise the only purpose they could serve is to aid a country in forming their own Police services.. and that can only happen when peace is present and that can be before a conflict escalates.. with Peace Keepers (MILITARY) doing their role or after the fact in a Peace Making engagement where security of person is required. But those are even more time consuming and difficult as anyone who is aware of the amount of Human Trafficing throughout the Balkans , and where the good guys became corrupted and involved in the human trafficing for profit. Therefore the one way to prevent a vacuum of power is maintain stability of governments and prevent conflicts. But that too is not always perfect. Nothing is... -
The Unemployment rate is measured very differently today then in the decades previous. Previous recessions may show "higher" rates of unemployment however.. the majority of the stats are generated from EI and they do not have a strong handle on those trying to re enter the workforce vs giving up. Unemployment for example in the 80s.. companies laid off they didn't leave... and when the hardships ended the ramped back up.. their HR staff would report to Stats their employment rates and number of hires.. often a simple survey. Ironically, today, when a company closes the survey day disappears. Therefore the government relies on EI figures.. and these figures will show that the numbers are lower because... 1) its more difficult to collect EI then in the previous decades.. fewer qualify 2) EI last a shorter period. 3) EI pays Less... that is why during even the highest levels of unemployment EI ran a MASSIVE $56Billion Dollar surplus. That monies was diverted to corporate tax cuts and invested offshore. Its why EI today makes choices to cut Student Employment Centres.. Brilliant... I can't say much good about this governments role during the recession.. They are great marketers of manure. The good side of that is that it better to have a positive face then a negative one. Which.. is why the Tories are queuing up their attack adds... Obviously when we compare the 90s recession, that self inflicted wound came courtesy of Brian Mulroney.
