  1. Conservative responses = laughing stock The Conservatives are dishing out whoppers daily. This is going to be a time joke... its simply a matter of time.
  2. Or go to the wrong polling stations
  3. 1.How did the fraudsters specifically target opposition voters in order to misdirect them on e-day - i.e. where did the callers get their numbers from? They may have very well compiled the numbers based on previous robocalls where they solicited voter intention. If Racknine was used to gather voter intention data, Racknine would have log records of all calls made and the results of the calls - i.e. a copy of the lists. The Cons also maintain a national database which is fed from a number of sources. If the fraudsters didn't get the numbers from Racknine, another robocalling service provider or the central Con campaign, where did the numberse come from? For me, this is the central question that could implicate the Conservative Party or its operatives or rogues. 2.If Racknine or another robocall service provider was involved in voter intention calls, who actually managed that first round of calls to build the lists? The local campaigns? The central campaign? From where? Did Racknine or other providers just hand over total control. Does their robocalling product have a "user interface" for non-professionals? Did the Conservatives hire a person or people to manage all aspects of the "legitimate" calling (call design, scripts, reporting, scheduling, etc)? Was this done by volunteers? What kind of advice did Racknine or other providers give? 3.Did the same people who put the lists together manage the e-day calling? If not, how did they get the numbers? Don't get distracted by whether or not the service providers were based in Canada or not. That is a red herring. 4.Who had access to the detailed results of any voter intention exercise? Were the results centralized or held at the riding campaign level? Were they provided to a Third Party? If so, was the Third Party registered and audited by Elections Canada? (they would have to be if they spent more than $5,000). If it wasn't a Third Party, then it would have to be the Conservatives - rogue or not because they were the beneficiaries. 5.Racknine must have been aware that its servers were being used on E-day. While clients can legitimately call voters to remind them that it's voting day, they can't "advertise" for or against any candidate or party. Does Racknine do due diligence to inform their clients about these limitations? How much traffic was on their system on E-day? How much of it was not related to the fraudulent calls? Was traffic higher or lower than a "typical" e-day? Also, some of the fraud calls were made before e-day. 6.Where are the log reports of the E-day (or pre-E-day) misdirection calls? These records should show which numbers were called, how many people answered the phone and how long they stayed on the line. This would be vital information if there are any challenges to the results if the number of completed calls was greater than the margin of victory. Racknine would have access to that information for Guelph which has been tied to their servers through Pierre Poutine. I would imagine that Elections Canada got a hold of it in their investigation but wouldn't take anything for granted.
  4. I don't think the Conservatives " Know " anything. They certainly have dropped the ball practically every single day since this story rebroke...
  5. I know of a Harry Potter... and I would imagine there are a few Harry Potters in Canada..
  6. Whats the Conservative position today?
  7. It really looks bad for the Conservatives... They look and sound incompetent... at best.. guilty at worst.. Each time the Conservatives open their mouth, they find out how to put another shoe in it.
  8. It looks bad for the Conservatives in Guelph. Hiding the Racknine payments through a Party Hacks account. Then Paying the Party Hack an Honorarium (FREE MONEY) of $1100. I have never , ever , ever heard of hiding the payments to a callcentre/autodialer service before. Let alone giving the perpetrator money for doing so. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper. Quicksand anyone
  9. I am envious... wish i could join u... but at least the weather is nice here. Feels like we are in a banana belt in Ontario this year.. But I would love to have been in Florida and caught the races too lol.. Yeah, stay tuned to the News ... This story has legs... and its going to be an interesting romp. Lots of twists and turns each day..
  10. After yesterdays Farce with the our Prime Minister I was surprised that such a clever strategist would once again screw up so royally and make himself look guilty in under 24 hours. Perhaps they thought they covered their tracks well enough or could deflect this issue. It made no sense. It reminded me of an old saying by cheaters. Lie, Lie, Lie, Deny, Deny, Deny. Its bad for the Cons and they know it.. I think its really foolish to circle the wagons and think you can get away with the next adscam. My prediction is that while the base is still running around with blinders on.. the Conservatives are going to cut bait sooner then expected. There is no where to go but down..
  11. I was around when Nixon reviewed the tapes.. I believe its easier to mask/delete/hide/shred electronic information today... then that 12 minutes of missing tape of the old days.. Of course the Conservatives did nothing wrong... And their Right Hand Partner.. RMG is not in the US.. except that it is and except that a Conservative runs it in the states... oh... I hear they just took his name off the website.... Kneedeep..
  12. Why would u not have Canadian TV?
  13. This is Great News http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/ottawa-notebook/harper-dismisses-robo-call-scandal-as-smear-campaign-by-sore-losers/article2354253/comments/
  14. I think the title needs to be changed now lol. to FIRMS with Tory Links..
  15. deleted
  16. I think the Canadian People have perspective on this.. This is bad, VERY VERY BAD I believe this is going to make Adscam (remember that) look like a walk in the park.
  17. We won't see any by elections.. We may see some jail time..
  18. I think the Conservatives are knee deep in trouble.
  19. I think the Conservatives are in huge shit..
  20. The CPC and the NDP share Rural dominance... More Blue then Orange, however the NDP is not just the Party of "City Folk". Infact it is more Rural then Urban. The CPC is the Party of City Folk (unlike their Ontario Provincial Cousins) more then the NDP.... and the LPC... its just that the Cities and NFLD are pretty much all the LPC have left. And in your Province of Ontario, the same is true again. The NDP and PCs share Rural dominance http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ontariovotes2011/ Only that in Ontario, the PCs STUNK in the CITIES, and whereas the Strength of the LPC in Cities helped maintain their dominance of seats.
  21. 1) I really appreciate BlueBloods Insight into the CWB. I also appreciate his level tone of argument and discussion. He really puts the discussion first and is credible in his "choice". I have read a number of really nutjob posts in this thread, especially trying to advocate a "PRO" by blowing smoke up peoples butt. And other counter arguments that are completely off topic. 2) I believe the majority of Farmers and Not the government should have the final say, and then the government do as asked. This Wheat Board has been around on the block once before, and of course the biggest fear is bankruptcy when things go south. But that is the decision of the farmers. Some would argue that the agri business is too big to fail, like it did in the 20s, and then again in the 30s. 3) Australia Privatized its wheat board in 1999. Cool things happened like illegal kickbacks to Saddam Hussein in the years following privatization. Greed has no limits. It farmers choice to how they want to gamble their harvests and their money. There can't be a CWB and a PRivate option. It has to be one or the other. One works and provides a stable option. The other can work and yes, there will be fallout, and there will also be ALOT of money made, especially by a selected group. Just don't come back to the government with Hat in Hand when things go South. But thats what does happen. When the goings good, everyones happy and when the **IT HITS the FAN, then its handout time for the Agri Business. That happens all the time in other countries and in Canadian Agricultural sectors that have no Single desk marketing. The Federal Conservative Government has decided that the CWB is to go. Some 38% of Farmers will support this. Good luck.
  22. I am used to you looking at the facts and the evidence and having a pretty cool discussion. ...in this case I think you purposely have the blinders on.
  23. Rob Ford can release the 911 tape anytime he sees fit. I doubt he will. Either it would incriminate himself or it would truly make the CBC and its sources look bad. You may remain with the under 10% crowd who believe Rob Ford.
  24. Mayor Ford has a HUGE credibility factor including a history of misleading and outright lies, Drunkeness, Drug Use and Profanity unbecoming of a mayor let alone to be used in front of anyones children. I have little reason to believe anything Mayor Ford says, and that includes his allegations that his daughter was involved, regardless of the many ways he has tailor his answer to relate to the evidence before him. Mayor Ford appears hung over, and his behaviour on 911 does not help this observation. His behaviour and take on the situation stretches anyones imagination especially when shown the video. Instead of buiding a strong reputation, Mayor Rob Ford has reinforced his persona as the laughing stock of Toronto. There is nothing the spin doctors can do to fix Rob Fords persona. Toronto has a Mayor who might actually get the people interested in creating Recall Legislation. That might not be a bad thing.
