  1. Ok tell me after his private pension contributions and paying family members and employee sharing plan contributions, capital acquisitions and business expenses and the $3500 basic deduction would guyser need to pay in cpp contributions?
  2. Not at all, it is often because they can get relatively low cost stable housing, that they do not have a means to obtain otherwise. There are lots of low rental places, but they are full. In many cases those peoples incomes are government social assistance or very low wages anyway. So the government can give the money away or it can create affordable housing. One thing is certain social housing costs less than keeping people in hospital beds due to homelessness and the chaos of street life or equally expensive criminalization and jailing of the poor, and over medication to destroy their sanity. Homeless shelters and hostels arn't well suited for families and kids who go to school or babies who make noise. They are generally for single people not families. hostels actually cost more than renting an appartment in Canada, homeless shelters arn't far off. shelters arn't designed to be long term housing solutions, they are for emergencies. Social assistance rates such as welfare are too low to provide enough to get private housing in urban centers in some cases. renting a room isn't a healthy environment for an entire family, renting two rooms costs as much as an apartment Why should families be split up into multiple boarding locations? Social Housing Co-Operatives built under the habitat model using welfare workers is a viable low cost medium to create low cost housing. Houses arn't expensive to build using permaculture low cost affordable safe housing is available to be made. That will remove long term homelessness and the damages to wage slavery caused by high rental premiums. People who earn less pay up to half or all of their income on housing alone, while people who earn twice as much at the poverty line pay 25% or more. Yet people from middle income can pay drastically lower rates. The system is not designed for the poor, that is why the government should mobilize the unemployed to create housing in which the government negates housing payouts into construction of housing the government owns. The maxim, the more you work the more you earn isn't true of people getting sh1tty wages. It is often people who come from priveleged backgrounds that seem to purport, the more time in the more earnings out. For the time commitment OW for instance pays nearly half the legal minimum wage rate for time commitements to the program, this can include equivolent labour that is menial or involves exposure to toxic substances. Meanwhile the government fills its offices (with security systems and offices and technologies that cost thousands) which could be housing for all the people needing, and paying middle income salaries to people who push paper. Its just the new form of serfdom that Mike Haris created. Broken unfunctional and a tax cow, that fails to provide advancement, or lower costs to the public. What type of housing do you expect for someone earning $400 a month or less? There are tons of campers / mobile homes that could be bought to house people for a couple thousand each. With little effort to fit out for winter at low cost. These things can hold 4 or more people. Look at http://toronto.kijiji.ca/f-cars-vehicles-RVs-campers-trailers-RVs-motorhomes-W0QQAdTypeZ2QQCatIdZ333QQSortZ3 for instance.. just sort through those campers under $10,000, these things are reusuable. Old sure but they are housing. Only thing needed is a place to put them. Which the government should have tons of public space for campers. Oh but I bet green lawns are more important than removing homelessness right. Or that one street that would have to be closed to house everyone is too important to stop homelessness. Or there is no where outside of town to make a camper ghetto.. etc.. excuses that is all it is. I heard Ontario made this huge greenbelt, whats the story with that, oh right no campers there not enough space right... can't make a new TTC busline for the poor, etc.. it is just poor management. You could save thousands over a year in buying up used campers and housing people in them. In some cases all you need is cement and other costs, example building nuclear shelters with uses mobile homes. take a look at what ark2 accomplished with used school buses. http://www.ki4u.com/webpal/d_resources/arktwo/index.htm There is lots of unused land underground.
  3. why the hell would you pay CPP for your business, do they get pensions too? Employees profit sharing plan (EPSP) No Employment of your child or a person that you maintain if no cash remuneration is paid No Retiring allowances (also called severance pay) No Retirement compensation arrangements (RCA) No Spouse or common-law partner, employment of, if you cannot deduct the remuneration paid as an expense under the Income Tax Act No Employment of your child or a person that you maintain if no cash remuneration is paid No All assets that are expenses for the company such as capital aquisitions, company expenses are write offs to the limit. Tips and gratuities (direct tips or gratuities - not controlled by the employer) No Advances or loans equal to the workers' compensation awardN Plus a $3500 basic deduction of CPP contrituions on his $20800 income? I think he just isn't maximizing his income strategy for his business.
  4. It allows them to protest. You are the people assigning "take over" to equate protest. That is just part of the painting to limit lawful protest by turning it into something else. Are people depriving your right to be there? If individuals are allowed to be there like you, why are individuals like them not allowed to be there? Protest ISN'T ILLEGAL. " We are free to speak our minds, to gather peacefully into groups and to associate with whomever we wish, as long as we do not infringe the legal and constitutional rights of others." I think the problem is, perhaps they were there first. What if you were in a phone booth before me, can I throw you out of the phone booth to use the phone? You are suggesting I grab you and throw you out of a phone booth, that doesn't seem like something you would suggest.
  5. Oh thanks for your post from LAWIS COOL why don't you try justice.gc.ca the government website for laws in Canada. http://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/dept-min/pub/just/05.html troll.
  6. It is free when they get it. If they work they pay, if they don't work, they don't. If what you guys are saying is so true, it is free. F--- you buddy. I've got tons of value from my time in post secondary studies. Dude who the hell are you to say what I should do with my time, manage your own life prick. Also the difference of them having most secondary studies will statistically increase their income by more than 40% a 3-4% cut of that 40% is an investment well spent.
  7. If landlords can make money off of it so can the government. If government was atleast capable, fiscally which it clearly isn't. But no, no private business deserves credits or a bail out. They don't deserve to be taxed either, but they should have fees for specific business services, such as licensing, or leasing crown lands.
  8. Taking one sentence out of context on a five page thread is not "evidence" it is slander. so are you for or against free tuition here guyser? This plan will work it is based on a pyramid and mlm systems. Because it will make things better and fairer, and create a more free country that embraces good morals and philanthropy. It will also help to remove the corrupt tax system. Its your money, I'm the one getting free education here under the current system.
  9. The city does not overrule the constitution get this into your head it is unconstitutional. Yes it does. Lawful protest is LAWFUL, cities cannot make unconstitutional law. It is unconstitutional. What don't you get about that? While people can be ticketed or treated under tresspass law, they cannot be prevented from protesting for protesting. There is a clear difference. Also as far as public place goes, yes they can assemble and protest lawfully. (ASSEMBLY FOR SOME NON PROTECTED PURPOSE IS UNLAWFUL THOUGH....) If they commit indictable offences while protesting they can be arrested. A peace officer also has the option of detaining them for summary charges or breach of peace. But generally summary charges are not arrested for unless there is a public safety risk in allowing them to remain free, usually this would involve providing their address and potentially the requirement for a promise to appear at a given court date or other undertakings. The right of protest however is inviolable as a constitutionally protected right. Government cannot pass any law which violates the constitution. Any law which does is void and holds no force.
  10. No hitops lied, demonstrate how his comments are true. Example how does free tuition change employment rates? Also explain how this system is any different from free tuition on a student loan that you payback later? Aside from the absence of layers of red tape waiting lines and the uncertain terms on variable legislation that can change from year to yearand the current systems complex contracts and conditions like being able to be spied on and tracked by the government and have money taken from your bank accounts without your permission. Personally I think my system offers advantages to students in need because it cuts the crap and the red tape and makes it simple doesn't have hidden terms like being spied on and tracked, and having money taken from your bank account by some stranger or a computer system that doesn't even try to contact you, as well as mounds of paperwork every six months or repayment rates that don't in any way reflect your actual available money. It also makes the repayment tied to income rather than a flat rate, and it accounts for out of work individuals as well as low income earners without the need for paperwork every 6 months. Fact is a one line condition is much easier to follow than a four page contract that changes each year. And it doesn't require an indemnity for the federal government to do anything with your finances and not be liable for damages. I must say taking one sentence from my OP does not seem to explain your lack of understanding the depth behind that 1%. In no way would I expect every graduate to pay 1%, that is 1% per year (3 terms) for those who opt INTO the program, not those who do not opt for free tuition. This was explained very clearly.
  11. Oh and how is blocked traffic in an organized protest any different, they arn't. You don't be dense. the police shut down the area of the protest, because they knew where it was happening. The city knew where it was happening, but they wanted to formalize the process with fees and controlling it on their grounds rather than allow free protest. You have to understand Quebec and the city of Montreal has been adding layers of red tape and the requirement for approval to protest, that is a violation of the constitutional right of protest. They can't say what is legal and what is not, all protest is legal. If it becomes a riot that is another matter, but no I don't need to apply to some guy to protest. It is a constitutional right, why don't you stop depriving constitutional rights with your banter. Municipalities don't have the vires to infringe the constitution. They are sub vires the constitution, your comments are nonsense. Also understand the city has taken no measures to make the protest actions orderly, they have created barriers to orderly protest by putting up red tape walls. There is no lack of knowledge of these protests which have occurred for nearly two decades now. The city has actively along with the police concertedly tried to block the ability for this protest to happen because it makes police and the administration of justice look bad. | There are government squads that monitor and infiltrate these protest organizations. some of the protesters are government agents, including police. Not only Canadian either. Groups like the FBI profile protesters internationally, and there are foreign government agents involved in protest circles. The city has been part of the process of engineering the protests, along with the police, agents, and actual 'facilitators'.
  12. No this is not the case, the liberals had as much support as the conservatives, it just didn't translate into seats. IMO caused by vote splitting between the NDP and Liberals, due to NDP surge drawing from the left of the liberal party. There are more left leaning Canadians than right leaning, but the liberals tend to be near right center and left drawing a middle ground, while the NDP tends to appear left with large amounts of labour support. Bear in mind the liberal success requires drawing both form the right and the left, and they have failed to heavily draw from the right in part to Stephane Dion who clearly sat to the left. Ignatieff, was more right leaning but he was faced with the upsurge on the left meaning they lost part of the left. Trudeau I think, if he wins the leadership, due to his backers, may be able to unite the left and right. However it should be a very interesting election in 2015 (my gosh -2015 already I can remember the new millenium like yesterday), It is still two years off, this next year is the pretty much the last round before election year, and it is clear the press is painting this summer as the Election Team with leaders in place, and a new cabinet by the CPC to address the impending propaganda war. Tensions should steadily increase between this coming fall and the following one... should things get that far.... But lo it seems we are still half a year off before election fever starts its upward rise on the thermometer. I don't really see the party as having shifted that much from their position about 2004, ten years ago, the objectives and position seems much the same in terms of policy intentions. The NDP seems to have watered down a tiny bit, and the conservatives have steadily been radicalizing, but at the same time not delivering, except on specific issues such as Americanization, and Public Security and Justice Measures so as to clampdown and facilitate Alberta's oil sands, which growth is on the line with XL somewhat. Although by the end of this year the Party over the last 10 year years will have added 200 Billion to the pubic debt erasing the liberal debt downpayments paid with the GST. It sems possible debt to GDP ratio could climb over 80% by 2015. They have a lot of promises to fullfill over the next two years and they are dragging out reforms they promised so it looks like they are doing things when infact they have been sitting on their hands on their legislative agenda. It wont be done of course because of court delays because they waited too long, probably by design. but heck they need something for the next election right..
  13. So is living paycheck to paycheck without a house to sell/get sold. Atleast you have the capital investment if you are renting to own as opposed to renting. People really should start with a low costing house though, this pretty much means moving outside the city in urban centers, and building your own via groups like habitat for humanity, but people who can be anywhere, there are houses for $25,000 and less available. see: http://www.habitat.ca/ The mortgage issue is two fold. 1. not enough public land for social housing. 2. not enough government investment into social housing. 3. people not willing to live in social housing over owning their own properties. I think though that the government should just let private business operate. If banks fail they fail. It is the free market. The strong and prudent will survive. It is basically the public sector saying how the private sector should behave, that is command economics, a puppet show.
  14. What are you talking about there was a definate attempt to stem off mortgage borrowing.
  15. Not at all I did not say I was not libertarian you need to learn up your reading. I said I was moderate, which does not preclude Libertarian, on the contrary I am a moderate Libertarian. Who says libertarians can't lend money? You are being stupid. An investment is an investment, no reason libertarians can't invest. Nope. That is a lie. That is another lie. I think you are wrong and if you can't present some truth here you should put your head in the sand and count to infinity. Statistics don't show that. Its not a tax, loans arn't taxes, they are loans, a service fee is not a tax, it is a service fee, you don't pay if you don't use it. Pretty simple. Contracts are not taxes. That is a lie. You only pay for the service if you opt into the service. Stop lying. Its not. I'm sorry but if you don't understand you need remedial education. What don't you understand. It is a fund. What don't you understand. It is paid to the fund. People opt into the fund, the money goes to their school for their tuition. Each term amounts to ~0.33%, of future annual income for life. It is pretty simple, available for full time students and part time students, with part time students getting 0.15% per term. No I have actually. Universities don't collect anything except from the government for those people who opt into the tuition plan. The money goes direct to the University. The fund collects the funds. People who don't pay breach the contract, and they can be collected from via available civil law recourses. Under the current systems there are layers of administration and private banks involved, it is a hodge podge of red tape delays and possible technical glitches and defaults. No that is false. You need to read on my citizens bank policies before you make such broad uninformed statements. Programs are a completely different issue. Its not for the government to dictate what education is available, it is up to the accrediting agencies which the government recognizes to determine those things, this is not a socialist society. Post secondary education is generally free from state propaganda. That is completely false, there is a market they just arn't striving in it in some cases. The skills do have a purpose. You are speaking for 'everybody now' ... no sorry try again. Not at all as stated which you are ingoring it reduces staffing costs and simplifies the system incredibly.
  16. Was that before or after BMO's computer system atms and accounts were hacked?
  17. Oh if it were to I bet there is evidence. What is obvious though is that 2.83% is not 3% which is the "line" that all the major banks are holding for PRIME (for their 2% gain that can meet with inflation and eek out a profit) Manulife undercut prime, its clear the government is trying to say how financial institutions should do business. Plain and simple socialism and indirect nationalization of the finance sector to the command economy dictates of the federal government, who would have thought the Conservative Party has a fascist Progrom, on the not so free market financial sector. Heir Flaherty seems to be ruling with an Iron fist where a mere evil eye evokes fear in this subject brokerages.
  18. Free advertising, what is your business, currious. Well there is a difference between working for yourself and working for someone else at that level of income. Atleast with yourself you can add capitalization to your assets as a business expense, as well as perform many other tax write offs. People who arn't working for themselves are probably paying higher taxes on those 400 dollars. even at only $20,000 a year before taxes. Also what are you doing to earn that $400 paper pushing or performing actual labor like those poor JOBers are on 40 hours a week plus 10 to 20 hours of extra time in transit without their work vehicle, without their travel expenses, and without their free phone account, and without their other free write offs for luxuries and other benefits. Plus them needing to pay into extra services you don't have to like EI and CPP.
  19. Because the prime rate is going to go up thats why, and Flaherty wanted to drop some insider trader info to save his buddies at Manulife the problem of being caught in an prime rate bubble, no? The next scheduled interest rate announcement is April 17, 2013.
  20. You know not only party members vote for parties. Why register to vote in a vote where the outcome is predetermined? Its like an Saddam Hussien era Iraqi election. Is findlay going to come from behind? Bear in mind however that polls are not the registered voters so anything can happen, but I dunno, how do you think it will end up? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal_Party_of_Canada_leadership_election,_2013 She even says that Canada needs strong leadership. I bet Trudeau could bench more than her. I think if anything this race may increase the likelyhood of leadership contenders to gain some notice and increase their seat winning potential.
  21. What was he having sex with a little kid while crossing the road and somehow that info was omitted from the report?
  22. why would the pentagon still buy with this sort of assessment http://rt.com/usa/pentagon-f35-report-combat-012/ Smoke? Things can't be as bad as they sound, faulty engines, faulty cockpits. But they have fitted the first anti ship missile test. These things have two missiles able to be held in their internal completely different story here.. How are the arctic flight tests going?
  23. So they will go into default, its not like governments don't default on the ridiculous amounts of money they borrow. Just don't bail them out. The system manages itself. Its their business, if the government wants to run them, they should buy majority stock. Don't bail out failed businesses and individuals, why give more money to people who can't manage it in the first place? I borrowed from family and avoided the banks completely, and now it is accounted for, and I have my home. Live within your means. My purchase was arranged to be completed within 2-3 years. My recent purchase of a camper has a 4 month to 1 year repayment period. People should be able to manage their own affairs, government shouldn't be telling people how to run their business. People are buying things that are way beyond their needs, but that is their business. People are allowed to fail. The government needs to run its own business, not other peoples. It is in a very bad position to be telling people how to be successful. Apparently all you have to do is be all mafioso and extort people from their money to be successful.
  24. If the government wants to play lender it should set up its own bank (which I strongly advocate for), not tell other people how to transact their lawful business. Money isn't a resource, if people go in debt so much. If turning to the government is an issue just stop government programs. And no a lower rate doesn't lead to failure, it reduces failure. So now instead of 2.83% they have 3% how does that make failure less likely? Exact opposite. Manulife probably has better economic engines than the federal government. They have been way more successful at making profit than the government.
