  1. People who have succeeded in robbing the taxpayers. Also, I'm not living at the poverty line. The LICO is about $21500, my income is no where near that amount.
  2. no reason for that micro nukes are safe. environmentalists will cling to finding a problem with any type of industry if it ain't planting trees to hug, anyway. its just a scary name. this technology is way safer than oil, and way less destructive than hydroelectric by destroying natural water sheds and it doesn't kill birds like wind power. None the less I'm not concerned what other people think anyway. It is an improvement on the past and that is all that matters. The sooner the big ones due to get shut down stay that way and are replaced with newer, safer and more efficient technologies the better off we will be. I suspect though the old plants will be replaced with these smaller ones running multiple plants on the site of the old reactors. I am fairly environmental, and I have to say I think these things run laps around some of the technologies being used today. They are a vast improvement on older technologies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_decommissioning we need repacements for things like pickering, building new ULTRA expensive plants is not the solution, the solution si building microplants that are safer, without needing to destroy previous technology such as dismantleing plants. http://www.durhamregion.com/oshawa/article/1251056 we shouldn't be "eliminating" energy sources, we should be upgrading and modernizing them to 0 emissions 0 risk models. See that the Chinese are buildings Canada's nuclear plants.. we could be building microplants here in Canada. AEC could have been spearheading the construction of those plants.
  3. This could be solved with another buried technology the government has muzzled by regularing it away due to lobbying from the major nuclear industry players http://www.nextenergynews.com/news1/next-energy-news-toshiba-micro-nuclear-12.17b.html https://blogs.ucl.ac.uk/resilience/2013/02/20/measuring-the-resilience-of-micro-nuclear-energy/ you hear about this but then the government shuts it down and it more or less disappears from the public mind as quickly as it entered it http://www.greenoptimistic.com/2011/04/27/micro-nuclear-plant-nunavut/ --this technology changes the status quo, its too good for the public, we must reserve it for military use. http://www.npr.org/2013/02/04/170482802/are-mini-reactors-the-future-of-nuclear-power There is no reason Canada cannot do this, and make Canadian jobs, and stimulate a Canadian economy, as opposed to buying them from the US when they build them. Oh but sleeping Canada won't be able to because the US will patent it, the only recourses is using decades old technologies that contribute to decade old problems, although microplants do exist that are expired IP now, the newest ones will be the most efficient, and Japan and the US are going to own that IP.
  4. These and other comments are lies. Watch the videos posted above. There is enough existing capacity in ammonia production to fuel it all at half the current price of gasoline. There will be no immediate switch anyway, if any switch at all because of the startup for fuel switchover and ownership of feuling stations by the oil and gas industry. The oil and gas industry isn't interested in supporting cheaper better fuel sources that come from nature and are free for anyone to make themselves. Just like electric this would take government funding to make happen because of the large scale of the project municipalities could be direct fuel suppliers rather than getting their funds from their gas tax bribes. It is a harsh reality why are we using corn and other foodcrop to make E90 when we could be using our human wastes to create fuel.. it is scary if you think about it, with increasing food costs, and shortages that our food is being used as fuel instead of our piss. Scarier even that this technology removes carbon from the air rather than puts it into the air. It also reduces the need to use carbon creating oil to create fertilizer, as the byproduct of this tech this nitrates. Once the industry finishes milking the public of their money and the oil becomes prohibitively expensive people will wise up. I expect China and India to be the first to run with it just like they did with biogas. http://www.agmrc.org/renewable_energy/renewable_energy/ammonia-as-a-transportation-fuel It is also already regionally distributed ending the refinery monopoly on fuel. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080314070329AA2mgFV plastics from piss http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-melmac.htm saltwater to fly jets? http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn17632-how-to-turn-seawater-into-jet-fuel.html
  5. It is cheaper than gasoline. I've researched this subject some Canadian put toegether a car in which the federal government gave good mention, but with the creation of petroCanada it was buried. urine degrades into ammonia USED SINCE THE MID 1800's.. until.. 1905... WORLD RECORD FOR DISTANCE cross country! Better for the car AT HALF THE PRICE!!! NO CARBON!!!
  6. It is easy. All you need to do is introduce to electrolysis. Which can be powered by a dynamo, or pv cell. example However it is even easier with urine than water http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toyi6efWac0
  7. Oil Is the thing that comes with huge costs. Simply not true. How much more scaled can you get than PISS? Dude piss is already collected you are being stupid. Currently it is being dumped into our drinking water instead of our gas tanks. Some municipalities are actually starting to process waste for fertilizer applications, and methane harvesting. However through electrolysis and catylytic conversion they can also produce hydrogen gas which can be used as a fuel source. There are rather simple kits that go right on your vehicle that convert urea and water into hydrogen. People are just in mass denile. They are waking up though. They won't believe that you can replace oil with biological products such as hemp, mushrooms and piss.
  8. You are wrong. Most things made with oil can be made with other products, often naturally derived products. Even piss can replace gasoline. This is just another form of climate change denial. You'll leave the denile stage eventually. http://www.wired.com/autopia/2009/07/pee-powered-cars/ and this is not isolated.. there have been these things for over 30 years now. A Canadian pioneered the technology for vehicles in the 1980's, it got lots of fanfare until the auto industry refused to implement it in their vehicles. Fast forward 30 years, highly expensive hydrogen fuel cells are being implemented.. yet this self fuel solution was passed up and continues to be. Our PEE is a gasoline replacement http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTHO9vNVLdI The BYPRODUCT IS NATURAL FERTALIZER! Which can be used in urban growing, aquaponics and other nitrate applications. I could go on and on with every single thing oil makes and provide a natural replacement... mushrooms even make rocket fuel. People are waking up, it takes time but there is movement to enlightenment, of alternatives to oil. We need to conserve what oil we have.
  9. That is a lie. It would be true to say cities aren't prepared to feed themselves. It is not true to say oil is needed to do it. It is but hemp was shut down decades ago by the cotton industry in the US. It has slowly been coming back but the government is tightly regulating it so that the grey market criminal underworld can make money off pot. Totally untrue. both hemp and guns started being controlled when prohibition ended as a means of raising tax revenue and supporting the structured that previously existed to control alchohol. There is really no reason to restrict hemp production. http://www1.agric.gov.ab.ca/$department/deptdocs.nsf/all/econ9631 Europeans first planted hemp in 1606 at Port Royal hemp has been part of Canada longer than Canada has http://www.hemptrade.ca/ Cities are very capable of feeding themselves if they organized to do so, such as growing musrhooms indoors, underground, plants on all types of green grow areas, roofs, gutters, cities are more than capable of feeding themselves. Culturally they are misaligned to do so though.
  10. I don't need it Make it out of hemp, hemp is stronger than steel and made from a plant. oil isn't required to make a computer. there are alternatives for material production. http://rense.com/general50/cd.htm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKFTPpUjbTY I bet you could grow a lot of hemp in BC and Alberta. Its all choice. There are alternatives. Think the forests of Northern Manitoba.. Canada could lead the world in hemp production for manufacture.
  11. We don't need oil. People use oil. Its not worth it. imo they should build the pipleines underground with nuclear boring machines. under the water line in solid rock. I put my health #1, and my luxury #2 oil is luxury, the environment is vital to my health. the excuse is, society has been engineered by lazy stupid people so we are dependent on oil. We don't need to be, that is a choice. There are plenty of ways to ship oil. lets get real, you just want as much money from it as you can get at any cost. I'M NOT against development, but the past ways of doing this suck, they aren't even remotely safe. It is disaster waiting to happen. You have to bore the tunnels via nuclear borer to remove the terrorist threat the pubic access and the contamination threat. No one is going to complain about deep rock getting contaminated with oil. you can get way more advanced than http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iU6pi_-LmiU
  12. They don't deserve it. They already get paid too much. It is ridiculous the average public salary is $115000, absolutely absurd. The median Family income is under $70,000 Why are they getting more than twice that?
  13. No, I don't support minimum wages. I want the federal government to lower their own wages. I think their salary should be set by public referendum. Personally I think it should be at the poverty line, with legitimate office expenses and travel expenses etc.. separate.
  14. That was such a strawman comment. Spills don't get cleaned up they kill off large amounts of local species, and stay in the water supply for decades. Cleanups don't clean up they reduce contamination they don't remove it.
  15. Yes the public should have access to all that information. I do get to make the call just like everyone else can make that call. Making a joke about a bomb in an airport isn't something airport security will put you on a no fly list for. If they know it is a joke. None the less, yes if you put people on a no fly list, the public should be informed why people are on that no fly list and not given access to court to be removed from that list, where no grounds for them being deemed an immediate risk to flight security is provided. Maybe in the US but not in Canada, it isn't acceptable to abuse people up here, atleast as far as I'm concerned. Abusive totalitarian government cannot be accepted. My opinion matters to me, and that is all that matters. Anyone supporting abuse unreasonably can go to hell because that is where they are trying to take us.
  16. Ok so why is this guy on a no fly list that was made to prevent immediate threats to airline security from flying? There has been no evidence that indicates he was or is a threat to airline security.
  17. Is there some reason he cannot motion or introduce the bill? Why is it any MP is being prevented from a motion? http://www.parl.gc.ca/MarleauMontpetit/DocumentViewer.aspx?Sec=Ch12&Seq=4&Language=E If there is enough support then why not just replace the speaker if he isn't willng to hear motions and the house wants to hear motions.
  18. I understand where you are coming from. You can work with the law or disregard it either way the law may not disregard you. You know being a criminal is not a crime, and there are circumstances where law abiding citizens need to break the law where life is in danger. I'm not saying show up to the airport with a captains hat and expect security to wave you through to a 747, but yes by commercial law citizens need to be given equal access to services, if they are discriminated against it is illegal. Now bear in mind the courts and government are corrupt and pander to corporate interests since it is a corporatist state but people are suppose to be protected against discrimination due to age, race, sex, religion etc.. and have equal access to services enjoyed by other members of the public. Personally I do think businesses should have the right to service a specific clientele of their choice, however, I don't think Canada should provide for that. I thought as a society Canada had grown beyond its rascist past. Denial of good, service, facility or accommodation5. It is a discriminatory practice in the provision of goods, services, facilities or accommodation customarily available to the general public (a) to deny, or to deny access to, any such good, service, facility or accommodation to any individual, or (b) to differentiate adversely in relation to any individual, on a prohibited ground of discrimination. 1976-77, c. 33, s. 5.
  19. Aluakbar, so is facebook, youtube and google. See the problem. Big commercial sites doing this is AOK yet some small site isn't. Also where is the proof? Where are the al qaeda people that were arrested, where are the islamists? Anyone can go on a webite and post as al qaeda or islamists, obviously government agents at some point must have been on the site, and likely posting as islamists, how do we know this wasn't all just a setup? Point is there are no charges, he didn't do anything illegal, no crime was committed so why is the guy being prevented from flying? The internet is full of Al Qaeda videos, also being an islamist is in no way a crime. As far as Al Qaeda, were there any arrests? I havn't seen info indicating those statements are true. In no way does hosting links to videos on your website make you a flight risk. It is a preposterous association. Oh look Charles Anthony is a flight risk, quick go find the RCMP so they can ban him for life from going on airplanes! Oh no look I'm a Islamist Terrorist now... it is absurd. that does not deserve a lifetime flight ban.
  20. There was a dentist in town, all I know is that old dental office was closed a couple years ago.. and put up for sale, not sure if he is still around but he appears in a google search. Next one is about 40km away. I've always had my dental stuff done in southern ontario. Pretty sure just moved into the new "pharmacy building"
  21. don't cry for me argentina. income before taxes is nonsense to even comment on. I'm not against the free market I think it is important, personally I just think the government needs to insure essential goods and services by insuring those who are economically disadvantaged are managed and provided for to prevent social abuses through monopolies, supply limitation and price fixing. But no I think public office should be capped at the poverty line, office costs seperate, and no government paid political staff. People shouldn't get into politics and government for money. I would suggest a bonus based on surpluses after expenses, but even that with a reasonable cap such as the middle income cutoff. There is no reason for politicians to quit their dayjob. They turned managing the status quo into a make work project and profession when it really doesn't need to be that complex. Why are they screwing around so much? Like a few people are effected and suddently everyone needs to have layers of redtape lumped on, and fees and licenses etc.. etc.. its all total bs. Cosmetics really don't cost much, I suspect medical and dental robots will be available before too long. The stuff castings themselves will become more and more easily manulfactured with now these reprap machines its only a matter of time. Specialists will still be there and regs will probably keep things normative in highly regulated countries but this stuff is on its last legs. With all the hold ups though it will probably be a good 10-20 years before it is in place, 10 years to introduce and 10 years to become standardized. Anything costly will be fair game for AI. You have this and surgival and medical robots... these skills professions are going to be eroded because their high costs can be replaced by robots for lower cost. It will drive the costs down for the low end people or people who opt for lower cost. ie people without plans or the government covered people will get robotic care. http://www.dentistryiq.com/articles/2013/03/erase-the-boundaries-for-dental-care-the-right-technology-makes-.html new techs http://www.coshoctontribune.com/article/20130301/NEWS01/303010023/New-dental-technology-shortens-waits-some-Coshocton-patients?nclick_check=1 Dentists will still be there as a backup but technology is replacing stuff. It is stuff that AI can do. http://www.lenouveleconomiste.fr/lesdossiers/la-robotique-medicale-17879/#.UVeVt29BkSQ Thisis the age of $500 reprap machines able to make dentures and replacement teeth. http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?194,71461,71832,quote=1 oh and new plastics are 10x stronger than steel. This from 5 or so years ago http://www.tgdaily.com/trendwatch-features/34213-scientists-construct-a-transparent-plastic-thats-stronger-lighter-than-ste nano fibres out there are 15x stronger than steel. http://phys.org/news/2013-01-stronger-steel-scientists-strongest-lightest.html
  22. Your wife is getting paid too much too. Its sad to see people without access to dental care because costs are super inflated to line peoples pockets. True that is business and people can do that, none the less it is unfortunate. High medical and health costs are a bane of the common person. None the less, they are, like your wife, getting more than a fair wage, compared to the people on the bottom end of the stick. Personally they shouldn't even be paid beyond the basic poverty line. They should rule from the bottom not the top, to insure they are the economic class most disadvantaged by their laws. Rule from the top only makes a corrupt and depraved society. Parliament has been turned into a stage show, and mockery of what is suppose to be a representative system. It is blind rule otherwise. It is disgusting it is just about lining their cronies pockets. It is just cronyism and clearly unjust and corrupt oppression of the public masses by coercion.
  23. You arn't the boss of me PIK. Its funny how cult heavy you are. Flying is a freedom, mobility rights are in the charter. Enter Remain or Leave Canada, it does not designating flying as an exception of that. Due to equality all people have the same grounds to commercial transaction because it is an indictable offence to deny people equal access to services by means of discrimination. PIK you are wrong, you have fallen into a mass media perception that is wrong. Realize you are confused by cult and totalitarian propaganda. There are no "our rules". There is the constitution and statute, no where in there does it say for political reasons people can be discriminated against and deprived their basic rights provided by common law. You have no right to infringe my rights. You are not my master. My right by Canadian law is to use any force reasonable to arrest you if you try to deprive me of my common law rights, including use of deadly force if you cannot be arrested with lesser force or if you attempt to flee.\ Common nuisance 180. (1) Every one who commits a common nuisance and thereby (a) endangers the lives, safety or health of the public, or (b) causes physical injury to any person, is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years. Marginal note:Definition(2) For the purposes of this section, every one commits a common nuisance who does an unlawful act or fails to discharge a legal duty and thereby (a) endangers the lives, safety, health, property or comfort of the public; or (b) obstructs the public in the exercise or enjoyment of any right that is common to all the subjects of Her Majesty in Canada. R.S., c. C-34, s. 176. \ The government is bound to allow me to enter or leave Canada if they fail to do so they are commiting an indictable offence because they are unlawfully depriving me of a common law right enjoyed by all Canadians. Consumer rights are also a common law right which cannot be descriminated on. The basic of the program is "immediate threat" there was no immediate threat. no charges or explanation. it was completely arbitrary. How does hosting a website endanger a plane? I don't understand how hosting videos on a website creates an aviation security threat, am I missing something here? Is there some magic ability to have the internet activate its secret plane endangering powers by hosting videos with strong use of words? http://www.priv.gc.ca/resource/fs-fi/fs_20070627_e.asp Its funny how people like PIK turn it into a cult abuse of power for political and partisan purposes rather than the actual reason for the program, to insure immediate, aviation security. The guy is a foreigner walking around Canada for years now, nothing seems to indicate he is a threat to public security or aircraft security. A higher level search of his belongings and person should be more than sufficient to insure flight security. It is disgusting what is being done by abuse of a program intended for a completely different purpose.
  24. I thought I saw him once coming back from Mexico on a westjet flight, he was eager to be the first one through the gate onto the tarmack, but I beat him to it. Probably was just someone that looked like him though. None the less, really great that someone was committted to slaying the public debt, there needs to be more managers like him. Its sort of unfortunate the days of Alberta surpluses are gone, and the province has gone back in debt.
