I gather that's a no...thus the problem with Islam. It commands its believers to fight the unbeliever.

While not every Muslim will physically fight the unbeliever...most fight in their own way. From not making a peep when Islamic terrorists score a big terror-victory to not assimilating into the local culture, etc, etc, etc.
