  1. The reason it seems, the way I see it, that Islam and Christianity seems different when they're the same thing has to do with where the religion evolved from a common ancestor. Christianity evolved primarily in the European regions from moving outside of the Middle East, while the Islam remained and evolved in the Middle East. Christianity and Islam are genetically the same religion but interpret differently due to different climate and social factors. At least that how I see it. Like a German Shepherd and a Bichon frise - they look different but are genetically the same.
  2. I'm having difficulty understanding why people arguing for or against the concept of anthropogenic-assisted climate change using singular weather event Arguing whether or not such phenomenon occurring based on singular short term atmospheric condition reduce the entire purpose of the conversation to a senseless chatter equivalence to "a dog bitten a child, therefore all dogs are getting more violent".
  3. Prayers actually do help....create carbon dioxide for plants On a more serious note, praying can help fixed one's mental state of mind to become console, empowered, focused, etc. Other than that, it doesn't really do anything else.
  4. How about an ignore user option for the chatroom?
  5. "Forecasters were calling the hurricane headed for New York, New Jersey, and as far inland as Ohio, “Frankenstorm” because (like the monster in Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus) this storm is stitched together from three different weather systems, Hurricane Sandy from the Caribbean, a western early winter storm, and a cold influx of Arctic wind from the north."
  6. I never actually took the time to think about that...that is a really good question!
  7. LOL I bet you were saving that for the right moment
  8. No republicans ever won presidency without winning Ohio.

  10. The way it has always been since McKenzie King in 1921.
  11. Well the topic is about Canadian patriotism and people are talking about proxies and IP-stuff... If people want to talk about IP shouldn't they start a new thread instead of hijacking an already existing thread with a totally unrelated topic? Just my two cents.
  12. I think the libertarian party should replaced the republican party. The modern republican party is equivalent to Canada's CHP.
  13. Dude I've read all those series! Trust me you are going to love it
  14. Betsy, there is a difference between debating politically/philosophically and scientifically. It's not that you're dishonest, but mainly because you're clueless on how to read journals, verify sources, thinking critically and stuff like that.

  17. You are so clueless, it's sad. Tell me betsy, do you know how to think critically? -holds up a mirror in front of betsy-
