So Jean Lapierre is resigning his seat and going back to TV. LInk The CBC story doesn't make it clear that he is leaving Parliament, but that's his plan according to Paul Wells. This opens up the uber-safe riding of Outremont. The nomination will be fun to watch. Martin Cochon and Liza Frulla both want back into Parliament. Will Justin Trudeau be able to out organize both of them?

Hmmmm, call my *tactics* what you will. It seems very odd that you call me out for aggressiveness then when you do the same thing I am picking out every fault??? My sig is classic. A classic example of improper behaviour and bullying? Please change it. It is ignorant. And I asked: For Reference: jdobbins post: My question re-stated. Was jdobbin meaning to say that the Conservatives are unable to act on the environment because they haven't done much on the file so far?

Hey dick. There aren't six other threads on the topic. How 'bout you piss off and quit trying to detract from the OPs post?

Justin Trudeau set to enter federal politics
Ricki Bobbi replied to Catchme's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
He was chaiman of the Board of Katimavik (conveniently a program Daddy created.) A seat on a board of Directors and Full-time teaching (although methinks for Justin it was more like occasional teaching) do not a Mount Royal lifestyle make. Last word was that he was a student, again. Doing an MA in Geography. He was studying engineering for a while but that appears to have gone by the wayside. If he can't have daddy's smarts at least he can have his money! -
Hey angry, a little support for your diatribes please?

wtf? Steve government? Is that somehow proof of how below your contempt Harper is that you can't even use his last name? Any examples of how Mercer was especially hard on Martin? I'm guessing it had to do with the dithering, or the very prime ministerial going on tv to beg for time for his corrupt government...

Do you enjoy insulting people? For somebody who is self-professed to be here to stand up to bullies you sure have no problems in bullying others. Do you feel like a big man because of your behaviour here? Could you explain your signature....

CBC to air comedy "Little Mosque On The Prairie"

What relationship are you trying to draw between number of episodes and ratings? -
CBC to air comedy "Little Mosque On The Prairie"

Is this the thread of the blatantly obvious? Of course, people will make that argument on either side. "You didn't like it because you went in trying not to like it." I will watch it with an open-mind. The ads and Web site have lowered my expectations so I might be mildly surprised. I somehow think the next big stories on international media we will see about the show will have leads something like... "The much-hyped CBC comedy Little Mosque on the Prairie was cancelled after three episodes due to low ratings.." -

Neither dynasty nor folly. He'll never live at 24 Sussex. But he won't embarrass himself either. -
Your CBC tax $$ doing political enviro- propaganda

I think you are being a little mean to Rush with that one. :LOL Ezra has an inflated sense of self-importance? Ahh the Liberals secret plan at winning majority Government again. -
CPC have three point lead in latest Decima poll.

There is no legal restriction on her becoming PM. I don't think a merger between the NDP and Greens is practical. Look at everything on the party platforms aside from the environment. There is very little that the two agree upon in those areas. -

CBC to air comedy "Little Mosque On The Prairie"
Ricki Bobbi replied to mikedavid00's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Thank God Allah the first episode is airing tonight. First we had multiple posters thought they were adding to the thread by saying. "Let's just wait until we watch an episode?" Now you say we should watch a few? wtf? I'll watch tonight. If it's brutal, I won't waste my time watching another one.... -

From Margaret Wente's column in today's Globe and Mail. While John Doyle from the Globe toes the CBC party line. -
I really don't get the hate-on so many people have with Owens. Seems like jealousy to me. He had a rough start this season but expect to seem him with the Cowboys next year, unfortunately as I'm a Redskins fan.

An Excercise In Enviro-Crowd Logic

Must you present everything relating to the Government in such an absolutely fabricated manner? -
An Excercise In Enviro-Crowd Logic

That's the most incoherent set of ramblings I have ever heard. Saving thy skin? Isn't a weak attempt at religious prophecy a sign at delusion on a grand scale? Pretending they are a majority? Isn't this diatribe against the Conservatives making a deal with the NDP? A deal that wouldn't be necessary if they were really pretending the had a majority? -
Uhhhh .. thanks. Taxes in general are pretty complex for most people.

Adscam II is coming back real soon.
Ricki Bobbi replied to Canuck E Stan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Probably closer to 50%. It is that 6% who swung to the CPC in the last election and the 4% who stuck with the Liberals because of fear of *scary* *scary* *scary*. Should be enough to win the Conservatives a majority this time around. -
So the Conservatives cannot do anything on the environment? They are currently, basically, tied with the Liberals. Do you mean to say that not one voter who currenlty isn't supporting them will change their mind and none of those voters would even consider voting Conservative?

Look it up yourelf for crying out loud.

No it's not different than how I described. Nice try angry...
