More Critism about Canada from the US and the world...
Rue replied to Army Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Not sure though if that is him or world market conditions. It seems to be a choice all our PM's make Tory or Liberal to be fair. -
You remind me of a guy. Circled me like a shark. Got a butt end up his nostrils. Never had an issue with my ethnicity after that. He still can't breath. I love hockey. You are no John Ferguson. I went to his hockey school. It was run by him and Gump Worsley in St. Therese. Gump Worsley's son was the best player never to play hockey in the NHL. Never forget that kid. He skated like the ice was butter. His dad was a drunk from a fear of flying. So it really hurt the kid and he never played pro. Nicest kid I ever met. He had greatness in his blood. Was as modest as they get. Taught me to stand up and cut the angles. Ferguson never allowed people to fight. He took me to the side and said if I wanted to fight I would learn to box and if he saw me fighting he'd knock my head off. The point he taught was you can never be out of control fighting and there is a code of honour. I learned to ignore people like you and only fight to defend others unable to defend themselves not for my own ego. Bottom line is, all kidding aside, someone like you would never see it coming. Yer too busy posing like a peacock in mating season. Be glad you do not live near me.

No please do not use mine. Its full of toxic crap. Yech. I think if I impregnated someone they would probably give birth to an old tire. Not good. As for bi or gay or straight, people are what they are. They can be to a certain extent influenced but your sexuality is like the movement of water. it flows where it naturallywas intended to go and in each individual is a predestined path for that flow and you know when the path is flowly naturally. You have an incredible psyche that will tell you when you do things that are not right for you. Trust it. Believe in your inner self to guide you. Sorry I do not mean to preach but you sound like you went through some bad crap I did too. Ease up on yourself a bit their kiddo. People can and do find out who they really are despite all the noise around them. Some days after all the crap I have seen in adults I would love to keep us away from anyone under 30 forever..but you can't..you have to trust people to find their way and the best thing we can be is non judgmental and step in when we see someone being unfairly abused, bullied or pressured by an adult if its life threatening or we see pain reactions. That's a fine line between questioning what a parent wants to teach their children at home and it is charged. There are some things I wish parents did not teach their children but that is not my right to interfere because I disagree. If there is pain or life threat yes or parents forcing children into sexual acts or acts with others then yes. I h ave made mistakes intervening on behalf of the law and apologized and then other times regret not having intervened because the law did not allow me. Its a tough one. Yer ok as long as you don't waste your energy, emotions, heart, passion, thoughts on hateful people or people who need to tell you or others who God is and what is right. You know those answers inside. When they come out to you, is when you want them to. -
Trust me you don't tale my breath away Its not that big a deal...Maroc stop while you can...I can do this all day. I

Your arguments make no basis other than to rationalize for why you think its acceptable for Muslim women to cover their faces and engage in practices of covering their faces as well as I suppose to defend the right of all fundamentalists to wear visibly religious statements when serving in public offices. You steer clear of explaining how religious statements/appearances do not conflict with the need to remain neutral in public as a public representative. You steer clear of explaining what law can be consistent that allows a covering for Islamic believers but not KKK believers. Your discussions invariably always discuss defending Islam as a religion which is not the issue, and the right of Muslims to unlimited expression in Canada because you feel other Canadians already have it which they do not. No Canadian can sit in a public position without having to deal with issues of conflict of interest and the test for confict of interest is the appearance of not an actual one existing and again you won't touch that. The fact that certain women chose to cover up and its not necessarily in the Koran as an edict or order does not make it better or worse. It still remains an issue if anyone wants to wear a specific type of clothing that makes them appear conflicted to being able to serve all people equally and please do not tell me I have to be confident in talking to someone fully face covered or wearing a KKK hood or a Satan robe or for that matter all kinds of crosses, etc., just as in reverse if I want to wear all black, grow a beard and curly side locks, wear a specific hat I am making a statement. I may not intend that statement to be evil or unfair but certain people who do not share that faith will not feel because I wear what I do, I can be neutral to them. You would not be engaging in your rationalizations if the person triggering the anxiety was wearing a KKK hood or wearing Satanic outfits. Who you kidding with your tolerance. Its selective because you feel you have an agenda to defend Islam. You don't. You don't defend Islam you defend fundamentalist Islam. Progressive Muslims came to this country because government and religion are separated. Please do not tell me that Islamic fundamentalists should work in any Canadian government. Their religion believes all non Muslims are not legally lequal to Muslims. Don't ask me to look away with such bigotry. Also please do not lecture me or anyone that violence or intolerance in Canada against woman has anything to do with what they wear. Give that line of reasoning a rest. Women get raped and abused because of far more complex reasons than what they wear and your rationalizations of fundamentalist Islamic appearance engage in a defective analysis that because some men are violent against women in Canada no one should label fundamentalist and for that matter mainstream Muslim as having conflicts with or social values in Canada towards gender equality-oh bull shit. All religions have issues with women and human bodies and how they should be expressed. Pretending Islam is not any worse than other religions in this respect is bullshit. Its an insult to all women let alone Muslim women who know better. As for Christians, I don't like some of them just like I don't like my fellow Jews or some Buddhists or Hindus or Siekhs. Is that evil? I don't like some people especially when they try impose views on me or to be tolerant of their intolerant views. You smell I will tell you you smell. Too much tolerance for the wrong things. I do not tolerate intolerant beliefs. Its not asking much to be neutral when representing the public.

Ok please stop threatening people on these threads. The idea of your new hair cut or in a bathing suit is a threat. Please stop.

We should arrest anyone who can't drive and put them in camps in the North. That would have every Chinese Canadian in jail by night fall. Then the Chinese would get it. Also everyone should boycott Walmart. War! Let's go.

Jesus as the trump card? Is that anything like leftists with their "righteousness" as a trump card? You think Jesus is only used by chubby? Really? You do not think leftists use their dogma and ideas as Jesus cards? The dogma of the left is recycled Christian missionary script right down to the smugness. Never met a leftist who did not remind me of Jerry Fallwell. They have seen Jesus and preach his sermons according to Jesus Wynne, Jesus Trudeau, Jesus Obama. JesusMorneau. Leftists are self appointed Jesus disciplies. They can't imagine being questioned on their mission to save the world. One only need read it on this forum. Me I guess I am a satanist only I met Jesus and we were playing hockey and he have me a real wicked elbow and I wacked him good on his shins and yes he swore and I know for a fact he bleeds just like me and played all positions but goalie. He said only depressed people are goalies. I have to agree. The pads weighed us down. The point is-Ford no more uses the righteous card than anyone else. If anything he revels in being bad, i.e., Satan if you must use biblical terms. -

Choice of sexual partner is not sex education its a subject of human relations. There is and should remain a difference and not be considered one and the same. Learning about the functions of the body and discussing sexual behaviour and sexual choice of partners are distinct topics. Sexology is distinct from learning about human body functions and parts until certain people with specific agendas want them combined and therein becomes the problem. Combining the two should happen further on not at 5,6. -

Here goes the Jewish guy again defending Christians. Christians are not necessarily against sex education. Some are some are not. It depends on how fundamentalist they are and that goes for anyone of any religion. Jesus card. Bah. What would be wrong with any politician showing some basis decency humility and passion? -
Its possible to have a safe pipeline. The two are not impossible. I also I prefer trees to people. They are not as sappy and they have established good roots in this country. They provide homes for many, shelter in time of need and a place where dogs can express themselves.

Yes. That is part of a schism between the US military and Trump that now is out and Ukraine was the last straw. Trump lasted this long because he had the US Armed Forces intelligence network which has been at war with the CIA and FBI (who they considered sell outs to a pro Chinese-Muslim Brotherhood agenda they felt Clinton- Obama pushed) and felt Trump was a useful dupe to keep them paralyzed from impacting on US foreign policy undermining US Defense policy. Now they have pulled their support of Trump. They are sitting back now content to expose him as the Russian dupe they always knew he was and wait for anyone but anyone to pick up the pieces. The thing is I do not think the next President has surfaced yet. Whether that person is a Republican or Democrat no one has tipped their hand who it is. Right now the only candidates, Biden, Trump, are openly flawed and defective. Back to Korea, of course it shows what a bafoon Trump is molly coddling a psycho fat boy. Americans who support Trump think its fine to get into bed with Putin and Fat boy kim. They apologize for it just as once before similar isolationists applauded Hitler.

Hey I am 63 and my prostate is 80. Stop that. Also you do not want me hanging around schools. Dia by the way as much as I disagree with her I defend and respect to my death. She is very supportive of young people and is far more open minded and creative than you or I. Trust me on that. I would be quite happy to have daughters like her. Nothing wrong with her approach to life. Her tolerance is up high in my books and I wish all children could learn that. -

..and you show precisely what the problem is. You discuss an adult's ignorance as to sexuality not a child's. The issue is not the ignorance of children but the ignorance of adults and in this debate we project onto children agendas trying to deal with adult thoughts we question assuming children have them as well. That's precisely the problem. Children do not think this way. at 4, 5, 6, 7, the target age of the curriculum in question. As for the above, should I accuse you of being racist? Why did you single out Kenyans? Is it because they are Africans? Why did you not single out a white government official? Think I am joking? I am not-the same people you think are part of your enlightened approach want Afro-centric schools that would criticize you exactly as I have done. In your zeal to be enlightened about gays you demonstrate any issue can be twisted to be something with an IST or ISM at the end of it. -
More Critism about Canada from the US and the world...
Rue replied to Army Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
On behalf of men with lack of hair I protest the discrimination shown by the above Prime Minister. Now to get back to this who did not read the resolution Trudeau supported-let e first start by saying as a supporter of Israel's right to exist as is also the also the case of me and being a Zionist, I do NOT and have never believed nor do the majority of Zionists Canadian or otherwise, that Canada should never criticize Israeli policies. Israelis criticize their policies more than anyone anywhere. That is not and should not be the issue. Also as a Zionist and I wish someone would ask us just once rather than assume what we think or Israel thinks or any Jew thinks, the majority of us understand that for a comprehensive peace agreement to come about on the West Bank there will have to be compromise and a significant change in the current leadership of Palestinians and Israelis and all other leaders of the Middle East. That said, just as no meaningful peace talks could take place until the IRA were disarmed, nothing but nothing will change as long as the current PA and Hamas represent Palestinians. They both have charters and have openly stated they want Israel and Jordan turned into a sharia law state along with the West Bank. That is something leftists on the board deny and pretend is not so. They pretend the only issue is West Bank settlements and that is the only reason the PA and Hamas are who they are. Bullshit. Its always been bullshit. Hamas and the PA stand for the dismantling of Jordan and Israel and until leftists acknowledge their charters and what their representatives state every moment of every day, they can pretend all they want Israel violates international law in a one sided vacuum but its bullshit. The resolutions by the way are not international law and have never been. They are political memorandums of statement with NO I repeat no legal status. They contain deliberately one sided references to the West Bank issues. The fact they are sponsored by countries in fact that violate every day international and human rights laws also seems to be denied by leftists. They see no problem in that. They see no problem in the fact that the current PA has a leader who stood up in his house of representatives cheering on his representatives chanting death to Israel and wrote his supposed doctoral thesis at the University of Moscow denying the holocaust existed. Yah that's some moderate. You may also want to look at how much money Mr. Abbas has placed in offshore bank accounts that should have gone to helping Palestinians. For that matter Hamas spends the money it gets from Iran building tunnels to get into Israel not one penny has gone to benefiting Palestinians. Hamas blew up the roads and hospitals and schools Israel helped build deliberately. Its ability to stay in power is to keep its people isolated, impoverished and living in inhumane conditions so they remain angry and capable of being manipulated. Ask yourselves, how is it Hamas can not disarm as the IRA did if it truly is interested in peace negotiations? Why does it continue to build tunnels to get into Israel and finance terrorist actions and cells? Why is it Egypt and Jordan as well as Israel contain it? Why is it even Saudi Arabia has stopped financing it? Who do you think it represents? As for Mr. Abbas some of you leftists need to understand he has no credibiloity with Palestinians. They are waiting for him to die as they did Arafat to see what is next. Palestinians know this man is corrupt and incapable of offering anything to them. What Palestinians need are Israelis. What they need are Israelis working side by side with them on water irrigation systems, sewage facilities, electric networks, roads, access to a port to export their goods. The sole thing the PA did was shut down a business employing hundreds of Palestinians because it was started by an Israeli and showed Palestinians and Israelis work together just fine in business. Trudeau sold out Canada's balanced approach because he wants a seat at the security table and he thought sucking up to this resolution would do it. The European countries that go along with this resolution have financial interests in the Middle East that cause them to be spineless cowards. Its always been the case. The UN ceased being a meaningful, neutral world leadership centre 20 years ago. Its a corrupt secret layered organization compromised by countries that break every law on the books but pontificate about the illegal behaviour of their fellow countries. It is a farse. It needs to be blown up and reconstituted to take out any direct connection or control from the governments which hamstring it. For you conspiracy freaks, it proves on world government is a figment of someone's illuminati. -

OOOPs. Talk about a Freudian slip. Blame Dougie. He is funny. Back to the topic, why do people who do not watch or like hockey feel they can tell me or you or anyone who plays hockey or likes it what we should believe and what words we can use? Who stopped me or any hockey player from standing up for ourselves? Please do not tell me you or I needed someone on the Social who has never played hockey tell us we are white privileged for playing hockey. White privileged my ass. Hockey is a contact sport where people learn to work together on a common goal and there is satisfaction in winning. People using bad language in sports is not literal and never was. Its part of the testosterone and hormones in the heat of the moment and getting incited to put passion into what we did and do. Thank God I had an Irishman teach me to box. White privilege. The gentiles I played against were far from privileged. They were just shmucks like me. We were all dealing with it and we did. Our respect came from going through the exact same name calling and learning to deal with it. I said it before, sexual molestation is a different issue. You know the guys who brought that up and had to deal with it, that was tough and good for them. Name calling, words that taunt, its a different issue and if you do not learn to empower yourself to deal with that it turns you into a perpetual victim. I am no one's victim nor were the taunters necessarily evil people. It was lifr and we all have been on the receiving end of crap and learned from it. What we have today are people who see everything in black and whites and you are either a privileged abuser or a victim and that idiot on the Social who referred to hockey players as WHITE is the very racist Don Cherry never was and fights against. For anyone who thinks they think Cherry hates French Canadians or Swedes they did NOT listen. I am a Habs fan. I know damn well which Habs he respected and why and what he really thought of certain Habs who were FRENCH not English and it was deep respect. Why doesn't anyone who thinks he hates French tell me what he said about Beliveau, Cournoyer. Lapointe, Savard, the Richards. You think he hated all Swedes-he gave examples of Swedes he liked. He spoke highly of Stan Jonathan and Jim Nielsen standing up when people taunted them for being native. I will take Don Cherry over that dweeb Ron McLean any day. Brett Hull could never make it in Canadian play by play with the standards they have now.

In regards to your second question, precisely which is why I made my point. His arguments were about what you write and when you write about gender identity choices which I am sorry doesn't require an expert. You do not need to be an expert to know how to teach tolerance and respect for people with different values. Its basic politeness and why people need a government or expert to tell them not to pick their nose at the dinner table is beyond me. Likewise with ear wax. In regards to politics you can't get more political than the world of academia, particularly in social sciences. Its all about preconceived political opinions that then shape the focus of the theories. Its why I prefer health sciences based on objective physical explanations. I say it again to all the nurses out there. A Registered Nurse does a far better job explaining health matters than a psychologist or some shmuck like me who spent most of job with sex perverts. I like Nurses as health teachers. Nurse Sue was the best sex educator in the world precisely because she was totally neutral in her explanations. I love her model of teaching. The next was Xaviera Hollander. She actually as you know was an escort but her explanations and analysis were used all over the world in sexology faculties precisely because of her objectivity and lack of politics in what she said. Neither of these two is an academic but considered by many the two best explainers of sexual behaviour and physical anatomy. My issue is what age you switch from health science education to human relations and lifestyle choices and that to me should be in grade 8 and 9 not elementary school or kindergarten as Wynne wanted it to be. Enough with sexualizing children. They can learn about their bodies without having to worry about sexual behaviour choices. Our world of business which requires we sell products based on manipulating sexual feelings and insecurities is what has caused all this confusion and pressure on children. No expert is willing to discuss that because its common sense and because universities depend on those same businesses for funding. Experts bah. Give me Nurse Sue. I did teach sexology once. Never again. The curriculum was ridiculous. I hold in high esteem nurses at Sick Kid's hospital and in medical clinics across Toronto and pediatricians and certain volunteers in women's shelters or certain people that work in children's aid as social workers and for that matter certain police. Their clinical or street training is what makes them experts. What makes them experts is they are non judgmental and they deal with the here and now. I admit I have a different view on this. In one sense it is a very strong advocate of sex education but at the right time and with the right content. I never had an issue with Ford. He is not a prude. He certainly did not suck up to fundamentalist religious groups on this issue. Not his style. He was making an argument about what the content should be. You and I do not disagree we need sex education just on what forms it should take and maybe at what age and even then you and I do not disagree. I just have a prejudice against myself and those in my field. Psychology of Law made me understand at best all we learn is an approximate attempt and it must always be challenged and we need to listen to the victims and the children and the people we lecture to and be prepared when people panic and resist discussing issues that make them uncomfortable to be like Nurse Sue-matter of fact, blunt but not alarming. Man she was good at talking down ignorance. She never raised her voice or judged anyone. Some of the comments I got in class made me want to cringe. People can and do bring very entrenched cultural and religious views with them and hide behind multi-culturalism to demand their views be imposed on others. For example. I had a group of students complain I was inappropriate because I explained about sexual assault and common assault and explained the difference. They complained I talked about sex in the class. I was teaching the difference between criminal sexual assault and civil common assault and battery. The university told me not to upset them. I asked the school to come observe what I was teaching and they refused and did not provide me an example of how to teach sexual assault without upsetting people who don't want to hear about it. Universities today cater to whoever pays them cash and have taught students they get whatever they want when they pay cash. Since that means international students who pay cash we are told not to upset them, i.e., fail them, expect them to read or write or think critically. I am not being hired back at one university because I refused to not teach about this. That is what happens. We faculty are all temporary now and told we are expendable if we upset students for any reason and I mean any reason. Education is so competitive now students call the shots at colleges and universities and what we have and I have taught at over 12, are not experts, but frightened faculty who avoid any meaningful, critical discussions for fear of upsetting students from cultures with different views than ours about crime, sexual behaviour, morality, religion. Sorry but thinking the world of academia is going to help you is naive. Its compromised and as tainted politically as it gets.

Rue replied to Army Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I am sorry Betsy. You are promoted. I apologize. But are you tiny? You have to be a munchkin for the job. Our mighty Munchkin is in the US again on the deal with the US. As we speak Iran is in the midst of a civil war they hide from the internet and not a peep from the leftists in this board who would be quick to criticize the US, Israel, but never Russia, China or Iran. Why? Why so quiet? What do they think is going on in Iran? It is precisely the tyranny the UN has a double standard for. -
This is not an issue about religion and never was. It is an issue of expressing religious values when in a public position. Its interesting Michael you and others who defend the right to express religion for people in public positions are quick to support it but would you care to discuss when it goes too far and lends to the appearance of a conflict of interest or bias? Of course not. You guys avoid the issue and yes in any freedom or right there are limits. Why is it those limits are only discussed by you when its a belief you don't like, not one you like? Using your logic anyone should dress anyway they want in public service. No limits. I call that out as bullshit because you would be the first to complain about someone wearing offensive clothing in a public service job based on their religious beliefs if you did not agree with them. Go on tell me you support public servants wearing KKK hoods. Yah its a religion in case you didn't notice. How and what we wear is going to be and has always been an issue when its in public or expressed by someone in public office. I argue public office and religion should remain distinct and if people want to blur them then they have to understand that public servants must maintain an appearance of neutrality. Maroc and Altai support Sharia Law Muslim states which openly define non Muslims as dhimmi inferior. They have zero credibility in regards to any discussion on this matter. Their beliefs are exactly the kind of extremism the Quebec government does not want representing it. Quebecois can be bigoted against non Quebecois yes but they also have a right to demand neutrality in public service appearance.
-
The media sure did not report the above initially now did they. They were very careful not to mention the ethnicity of the attacker. If there is an Islamic extremist terrorist connection surely it can be reported without it necessarily insulting innocent Muslims. I am the first to say be consistent and fair in depictions but to censor vital info is also wrong. Saudi Arabia is a very close military ally to the US so you can be sure this will be covered up as was the Ben Laden family connection to the US and all of the family whisked out of the US during 9-11. Oil makes unholy alliances for many nations.

Now Betsy you and I can still run. I need someone to be my Minister of Lavalin Affairs. I am saving Immigration for Argus and the US Ambassador position for Yzer. Army Guy gets defence and Dougie is Governor General of course. Cougar is Environment Minister. I am putting Taxme in the Multiculturalism Minsitry. The moderators on this forum I make Senators and Michael Harder clearly is my Minister of Culture which leaves Foreign Affairs for Godess and Spank at Fisheries. Apologies for anyone I left out. Scriblett is going to Moscow as Russian Ambassador by the way. Dog is Ambassador to Iran. No need for subtle messages there.Oh I forgot Dalai can be UN Ambassador, Wescan is Finance and Queb is Interprovincial Affairs.. Regards, Rex Murphy.
