I wouldn't care if the piece was critical of Palin, going as far as she did I have a problem with. The same goes the other way, pro is alright, but if a columnist for the CBC said she is a reincarnation of the virgin mary or something radical along those lines and that slant I'd have a problem with it. The CBC is supposed to be a respected news agency, not a conduit for childish banter regarding a serious topic, and that goes either side of the story.

First three fringes off the top of my head. To have an actual, (not that bs from last year) debate with all those parties would need 6 hours of tv time. The greens are just a popular fringe party and if layton and harper don't want to debate with them, that's their problem. I honestly only think the BQ is in the debates as a bone thrown to quebec. I think that's a fringe party as well, one trick pony and don't run all over Canada and won't be government.

How do you feel about the christian heritage party, the marijuana party, the rhino party etc. joining the debate then?

The Liberals would have been better off with a guy like Kennedy or Iggy, Dion doesn't seem to resonate with the two centrist swing voters seen above. In all fairness I'd like to see how the tories are going to pay for this. This promise sounds expensive. Liberal strategists should be asking this question. The idea sounds great as far as I'm concerned, I want to know the specifics. If the tories don't explain that, then this promise sounds like hot air.

Too bad more Canadians like Harpers Kool-aid than the NDP Kool-aid. Harpernomics 101, income tax staying the same + reduction in GST + now reduction in excise taxes = tax cuts regardless. Your right it is simple math.
