  1. That person was me, I did not get an answer, I have proved that PC is a hypocrite and he put me on ignore because he knows his case holds as much water as a wicker basket. He will not address this and continue to bash the west which has been very good to him.
  2. But it's so fun to debate this...
  3. That pot isn't sweet enough, good thing they'll lose, I would have really cringed looking at my next fertilizer bill.
  4. report him to the moderator...
  5. The gov't site says it is a complete ban, but you can appeal. What you pointed out is irresponsible burning. A couple of idiots ruined it for the rest of us. Lets not kid ourselves, driving over a hundred clicks in poor visibility is stupidity in itself. In my area, a lot of producers burn the chaff windrows in a heavy dew in the middle of October when there is no wind. Complete with an 80 ft. fireguard. There is no roaring fire.
  6. I'm not grasping at straws, this is going to cost me a lot of money. Leave it to the NDP to screw over the small business man. I'm mad because some idiot from Winnipeg doesn't know how to drive and wrecked it for the rest of us. If I burn my windrows, I go to jail. Looks like I have a bunch of straw to give away... There's no authorization, it's a flat no. It's bad for those who know how to burn properly. I mean when a person can't see far, drive slower.
  7. Then you go and post that... nobody is forcing you to stay. 40 percent of Canadians are supporting a party with a hardline stance towards drugs. You are also talking to someone who wouldn't mind alcohol prohibition. A lot of the real crimes stem from the effects of mind altering substances, it's too bad the gov't caved on alcohol, and we're seeing the problems arising from that. It is the fact that we have rules is what makes us a civilized and prosperous society. We in Canada draw the line with drug use. We live in a democratic society that has chosen to keep drugs illegal, if you don't like it you can run for office, vote for the party that is similar to your views, or leave; hardly the makings of a fascist society. It's too bad that it's one vote to a customer, and that a large number of Canadians don't care about legalizing drug use and don't want to pay for the effects of legalized drug use.
  8. Thank you NDP for the stubble burning ban, the more efficient farmers in my area are now royally screwed.
  9. What, it's called the country of Canada, not the Ontario Legislature, or Toronto City Hall. Then there's the whining about high commodity prices from Ontario...
  10. Too bad More Canadians like the repressive socon regime of harper over the hippie commie NDP. One vote to a customer. Repressive? The cons aren't making you stay here, your free to leave.
  11. by that logic we don't need a police force, the war on crime is just too costly. What you are proposing is anarchy, and conditions like Somalia. Everybody's high there and look at what they've amounted too. People get robbed and killed everyday, what its over doesn't matter.
  12. Religion not important to Canada??? Ever been to Quebec and the Prairies... Want a majority, be nice to religion. Praise Jesus!!!
  13. I for one have read this thread and am outraged... I hope the moderator has been reading this, if the OP isn't inflammatory rhetoric I don't know what is... Anywho, there isn't anything I can add unless JosieSix wants to discuss agriculture...
  14. Is my name argus? i think the green party is irrelevant regardless
  15. I don't think Liberal or NDP supporters are idiots, they vote for the party that best supports their interests. Idiots are idiots of all stripes doesn't matter which way they vote.
  16. 40% of canadians are idiots?
  17. line has to be drawn somewhere...
  18. Canada will have a place in history of holding the line under great odds, until the Americans arrive with huge numbers and sweep the Taliban away again.
  19. Just as stupid as some Liberals and some NDP. Harper got away with hiding them the last time and took some flack for it. Did the NDP let Svend Robinson and Bev Desjarlais speak on TV all the time??? Look at the polls, 40% of the people can't be wrong. To suggest people are blind like that is why the right wing movement is succeeding in democracies around the world.
  20. if the greens gain relevance this election then the left is in trouble. The NDP are radicals, the green is a one trick pony. If the Liberals are to be potentially decimated this election that leaves a huge gap in this election. I'd be curious to see what happens to the NDP, as either they will have to move to the centre or perhaps another political party will form.
  21. There is a line to attack ads to follow and Harper knows it, he needs to look at his successful campaign last year and copy it verbatim, duct tape and all. It's better to take flack about keeping the idiots quiet than to waste a day doing damage control.
  22. Rightists sort of have to in a way otherwise gov't would be theoretically irrelevant.
  23. Expect Harper to muzzle everyone now, and that's not a bad thing.
  24. then you must love PBS then... The cbc does have advertising, and its bankrolled by the federal government. That's thirty dollars taken from me to fund a quack. That thirty dollars could be in my pocket that I can spend on literature that I would prefer to support by my own choice. CBC isn't a subscription it's mandatory. When coulter is on and the advertisers are advertising in that span of time, I can change the channels rendering their advertising useless on me, no matter how futile it is in the scheme of things. I think coulter is a quack as well. Some people do support her by watching her and the advertisers capitilize on that by sponsoring her with the hope that those watching her buy her products. Coulter has a hope of funding. Mallick's has guaranteed funding. Good on harper for slashing the arts.
