It's nice to know to now that the US is now exporting oil, the world may be a little more peaceful now they don't NEED the oil from other countries that they usual invade to get.

One thing Cruz is planning on doing is giving more tax cuts to the very rich, he's even higher than Trump in his cuts. I wonder how the middle-incomers who are supporting him feel about that?

BC, of course Canadians are concerned who becomes President and what activities are going on in the US, just like Mexico is. IF it's true most band want to be self-govern, then those who against the government supporting them, would want feds to help them leave the governments pocket book? BTW, just like welfare, and all the other social programs that support ALL Canadians, would u want them gone too? Are u willing to give up your CPP,OAS or GIS?

Ontarians homeowners or anyone who pays their own hydro, should get a COLA every 6 months to cover the increases in hydro. Even when the Liberals are gone, I can't see where the other two parties can reduce the hydro bills, do any of u?

The NDP are strongly against a senate , which I'm strong against their view because no PM should have that much power. So let have the provinces elected names for the senate when their provincial elections are held. That list is sent to Ottawa and when senator of that province retires or quit, another name is selected from the provinces list. Would that satisfy everyone and THEY would be held responsible to the people of Canada or their province. I think this would take some time to transfer over though unless any of you have a way to do it faster.

CBC had a program on at one time called the history of Canada (I think), and it told of the history of Canada and one thing mentioned was how the French gave blankets to the FN with small pox virus on them to kill them off, which many did die. I was totally shock because we were never told this in history class in school. What happened in North America then, is the same thing that is going on with other countries today, like Israel.

My view is the USA has gone down the tubes, since JFK was killed, Reagan was shot at and the foreign policies suck! What I'm hear, and not on main stream news, is Trump doesn't like what has been happening in his country and wants to bring it back with some respectability and make the USA great again....to the world. The problem with that is some of the elite or globalist within the USA and the world, don't want him in the White House messing up their plan for the world and the US. Even the Bilderberg Group is trying to get him stopped because Trump being a billionaire, HE knows too Much about the elites and can name names. I think if elected, he could be one of the best Presidents the USA has had but he has to get there. The very action of sending his youngest son an envelope with white powder saying his dad better quit or the next time it will be the real stuff, just shows how THEY want him out and the US has been down this road before threatening candidates to quit.

As a person who been affected by cancer from friends and relatives that have died, Ford has a very hard up hill battle to survive HIS cancer because it started in his fat cells and Ford has too many fat cells. Miracles do happen and Ford needs one.

IF I were an American, I wouldn't trust anyone working under GW's government, so the Ohio Governor is out and we all know the activities that happen under Bill Clinton and what went down under Hilary, so they are out, so that just leaves who ever wins the GOP and if that's Trump, so be it. The Congress has the power there, so perhaps won't be able to do many of the things he said.

Just because other nations are doing it doesn't mean any other country has to follow suit. First, I agree with u to a certain point but lets look at their side. I wonder how they feel with the White Man promises, which seem never get done, are they fed up? I didn't see this online but heard it in the TV news, apparently Trumps youngest son, received an envelope with white power in it and said that his dad better quit , the next envelope will the real powder. Really, this is happening again in the US election? I can see both the Democrats and the GOP doing this, directly or indirectly. How far are these people who don't want Trump as President willing to go?

More over sight is need, especially for those in governments more than one term. The longer one is in, the more chance of corruption. Quebec was noted to be the most corrupt province , so maybe the present Premier can clean it up.

BC, went and research and yes 8 kids died who were on those planes, which is very sad and wrong but there are thousands that have dies in the ME. and the US government is still partly responsible for letting the attacks happen in the first place on 9/11.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems more boomers are not living as long as their parents or grandparents. One reason for this is life style like smoking it causing cancers at a younger age and high fat eating is causing more heart diseases and death. My own brother-in law, died of cancer last Nov. and it was the month of his first OAS cheque. There are and will be people will real need those programs at 65 and if one doesn't, then don't take them, but the feds will some how claw back those programs who make too much money through income tax.

As Rick Anderson said on CBC...some other government (the Tories...NDP wouldn't hit social programs or the libs) down the road will raise it back up. What should peeve off Canadians is they keep saying we can't afford but I bet if one could get the info on MP's pensions over their life time, more $$ are going out there in than in OAS or GIS.
