  1. I like how people get away with this stuff around these parts.
  2. Isn't knowingly and purposefully telling lies on this forum something you can be reported for?
  3. Calendar for upcoming elections in the "white parliamentary anglosphere" BRITISH ISLES Northern Ireland - May 7th, 2015 United Kingdom - 2015 Ireland - 2016 Wales - 2016 Scotland - 2016 ANZAC NATIONS Australian Capital Territory - October 20th, 2012 Western Australia - March 9th, 2013 Australia (Federal) - November 20th, 2013 (or earlier, almost certainly earlier) Southern Australia - March 15th, 2014 Tasmania - May 17th, 2014 Victoria - November 29th, 2014 New Zealand - December 6th, 2014 Queensland - June 20th, 2015 New South Wales - March 28th, 2015 Northern Territory - 2016 CANADA (not included here as this is for intl)
  4. I wouldn't recommend anyone doing the same, but, does anyone remember that website that the video where that guy dismembered that guy was on? then mailed the parts to the Tories and Grits? That's a "shock site". I've been there and they had a video of someone being beheaded. No Hollywood, no cutting away, just some guy being beheaded in the name of Islam, sound and all. That was one of the images from that website that I will never be able to "unsee" or "unhear". When I read about Islamists beheading people, I always recall that video, an know how truly and utterly horrific of a act that is.

  6. A mix is important. Seeing as there are few under 25s in all caucuses save the federal NDP, I'd have no problem voting a few more in. The same is true for those over 75.
  7. Not sure how you can support both, with the way the teachers have been acting, the only way to support public education, is to oppose their antics.
  8. My numbers say 20% of PLQ voters off-island have already switched to the CAQ
  9. perhaps a second report button that autofills the "enter your report" with the word "spam" ?
  10. Overall, I'm nearly exactly an "Average Democrat" On economic issues I'm quite a bit to the right of a "Moderate Democrat" nearing the centre And on Social issues I'm nearly off the "Very Liberal" end of the scale I'm closer to my own age group on all the issues I'm closer to the opposite sex on all the issues On Social issues and Economic issues I'm closest to the Hispanic voter, but overall, to Black voters. Read for more on how this can happen. On Religion, I'm closest to unaffiliated And on Social issues and Overall, I'm closest to Certain Obama, but on Economic issues, only Lean Obama.
  11. uh, also, given that the "don't reply to SPAM" thread now has 3 replies by SPAM... Has anyone spoken to the Admin about the possibility of giving a trusted user the power to delete spam? Someone online often.
  12. Here is a quick and simple way to test. I made the above post first. I click the MLW bookmark, look around for interesting threads, check them, then after I'm done that, leave for a while. I call this my "rounds" of MLW. The above post was the first in my rounds. This current post is the last in my rounds. In between I made 3 reports. If the MH and Charles see 3 reports from me, the system works, if they see 0, it does not.
  13. I wonder if the latter is related to Sneakers #lamejoke #Isuck
  14. Considering how my opinions changed I'd ask how old is too old? When I was 18, and when I ran again at age 21, I honestly though I could change the system, make things better for people, make the country a better place somehow, bring honesty and ethics into politics, and win by being honest and ethical. Now at 28 I look and conclude that I can not change much on my own, I'll have to compromise and while I can make some things better, others are a lost cause, that I'll never be able to make politics honest, and that you will never, ever, win by being honest or ethical in any way. As I talk to people who I knew at 18, all of them had their opinions change in the same way. So why should I vote for some 50 year old who knows how dirty politics is and is okay with it when I can vote for an 18 year old who wants to make useful change?
  15. FTR (I'm confused about which accusations are flying at whom so I want to cover my arse) I make reports. They take forever to load, so, I shove them in a second tab. When they do load they tell me there is an error. I say "Well, I tried, that's the extent of my obligation" and close the tab. From what I understand, despite the error, they still go though. And that's what I do. And that's all I'd expect anyone else to do IMO. And that works, AFAIK. And that's that.
  16. I've changed the wording in my original post
  17. I don't know much about this story, but I saw the headline, and read the CNN article. If the "bad guy" died from police bullets, and if the "other dead guy" was killed by the "bad guy", then I'd say only wounding people from "missed" police bullets is not nearly as bad as killing any of them.
  18. Feds controlling the post means we keep our postal codes. Otherwise, we might have to come up with an entirely new system should the provinces disagree.
  19. No slight to this place intended, but if there was, I would not be here.
  20. The Liberals never attempted to take away democracy. Regardless, all parties last election did robo-calling that was unethical, and considering they all got away with it, they'll be doing it next time tenfold.
  21. I'm a huge "Province Rights" person, to the point that I'd like to see the feds in charge of Defence, Tariffs, Canada Post The Postal System and Rules, Currency, Equalization (reduced) and the Federal Debt, while the Provinces do just about everything else. This was outlined and supported in the "Allaire Report" I have met, however, people who think the Provinces should be abolished. I am curious if anyone here feels that way and could articulate as to why? Personally I think this is a terrible idea.
  22. ... I was trying to see if he would make the same insult to me to my (forum) face, but... I honestly can not for the life of me understand that the devil he is going on about
  23. Not just reasonable but logical and natural. Not ethical mind you, but still just the normal thing you do when you have information.
  24. The admin has given up work on this website and now contributes to another AFAIK (I googled his twitter)
  25. http://www.abc.net.au/elections/nt/2012/ Australia's Northern Territory is holding an election, with the winners being the conservative Country Liberal Party.
