  1. I edited and added above. Read it.
  2. So, sexual acts between same-sex didn't exist in ancient times? Prove it. Cite your source. The term "homosexual," that describes same-sex sexual act, may be a modern term - but that does not eliminate the kind of act that's defined by it! Good grief! The term homosexual may not have existed in ancient times - so do hebephilia ( persistent sexual interest by adults in pubescent (early adolescent) children which is typically ages 11–14), and Ephebophilia (sexual interest in mid-to-late adolescents, generally ages 15 to 19)! They're modern terms! But, that doesn't mean there were no sexual acts between adult males and pubescent/adolecents! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pederasty_in_ancient_Greece It's not politically correct to associate homosexuality with pederasty!
  3. Wallonia region no longer a threat to Canada-EU trade deal, but the work isn't over, says Belgian deputy PM

The Belgian King and Queen were welcomed to Rideau Hall with a German flag, and Belgian Journalist Wim Dehandschutter is asking if Canada is taking this visit seriously.

      ....oh the never-ending gaffes!

He can't think straight.   I think Justeen is in panic-mode.

His supporters like to say Canada is back. Back to what? Pissing off our allies and trading partners? Insulting friendly dignitaries? I never knew those were cherished Canadian ideals.

  4. Didn't homosexuality exist in ancient times? If you don't care at all....why on earth are you responding to this topic? Read the title.
  5. What inconsistencies? How do you know? What's to be taken literally, or figuratively? Two hundred years ago - did anyone think of an expanding universe, as described? You do know that the Bible isn't meant to be a science book, right? And yet, some of its writings are being proven true by science. Big difference.
  6. So, Trudeau snubbed the King and Queen of Belgium - and a delegation of 150 business leaders.  This is also the first visit of the royals in 40 years.

  7. Can we add the infamous Trudeau statement? On behalf of all Canadians, eh? A remarkable leader? Mmm. I don’t think so. Many Canadians seem a bit upset about this white-washing of Castro. http://nationalpost.com/news/politics/fidel-castro-dies-justin-trudeau-issues-statement-much-hilarity-ensues-trudeaueulogies
  8. Try your MPP. I've learned something from this. being gatekeepers, I didn't know they got this much power. Btw, who referred them to this specialist? Their family doctor? If they have a family doctor, maybe they should talk to him too, and explain the problem.
  9. I think it best for them to seek advise from those who deal with our Healthcare system - like those groups.
  10. I'm assuming you've got the right to seek a second opinion.....so it shouldn't matter whether it's a General Practitioner or a Specialist. At least, that's what I think. But I could be wrong. You can ask those who are experts in dealing with our HealthCare system (advocacy groups). Here, read this case from the Globe and Mail column. It gives the rules about second opinion in Ontario. http://healthydebate.ca/personal-health-navigator/youre-doctor-wont-send-second-opinion Is it still possible to talk diplomatically with this Specialist, or has the relationship deteriorated in a bad note??
  11. Here is how a doctor is supposed to end the relationship with his patient. It's best to read it ....because it might be advisable to do some of the same things (if applicable). Also you get to know your rights as a patient. I think it's still best to end it as diplomatically as possible. http://www.cpso.on.ca/Policies-Publications/Policy/Ending-the-Physician-Patient-Relationship Here's a recommendation how to end the relationship with your doctor. https://www.verywell.com/how-to-fire-your-doctor-1942906
  12. Yes. I don't know the details of the problem....but if you think there is merit to go to the press (like Marketplace, and the column from the Globe and Mail), publicity will apply the pressure. Who knows, maybe there are others who's got complaints about this specialist and they might come forward.
  13. You can label Trump (Ford) all you want - whether they're true or not. That's not my point when I responded to your OP.
  14. Whether true or not.....he still won! That's my point (in response to the OP). With Ford's baggage (Rob scandals) - he still won. He also came in a strong second to Tory in the mayoral election (joined the race late, remember?). His message is resonating. I didn't see the debate but pundits like how he handled it.
  15. I hope Wynn repeats the famous Hillary term, "DEPLORABLES!" Of course, she shouldn't be so blatant as to steal the exact term - she should call Ford supporters .............. ...........moral-decency challenged!
  16. What exactly do you mean? Aren't all Dem members partisans - otherwise, they wouldn't be members?
  17. They should re-think electronic voting. Let's just go back to the good old booth with the pencil and ballot.
  18. Like the Democrats! As I've pointed out to Bernie Sanders as the latest example. That wasn't merely a suspicion - there was a leaked email that proved it!
  19. The Party's.....and Ontarians! 80% want the Liberals gone! Isn't the principle, the Party comes first? Isn't that how it's supposed to be? Look at Sanders as an example - he just swallowed the corruption and unfairness, even after he knew the favors were stacked on Hillary - he was cheated by his own party! Why? So, they'll be united going against the Republicans.
  20. Time is of the essence. Going to court will drag it out. I think, Elliot should just concede.
  21. That's okay. I was just listening to a political analyst being interviewed. Apparently, Ford Nation is no longer just confined in Toronto. It's crept up to, and making its way through rural places. Rosemary Barton has something nice to say about Ford (basing it from her experience with him). She said, he has the authentic sincerity - and the other people in her panel had agreed with her. They say with Ford (though he may be somewhat brash) - you get what you see. If he's that refreshing - and he's the anti-establishment (and apparently resonating with a lot of folks)....... ........nothing will stop him. He'll be our next Premier!
  22. Yes, MPP. Thanks for correcting that.
  23. I don't know much about her either except for what I read when I googled her after seeing her last night. She's said to be the voice for social conservatives. She surprisingly did well than expected. A strategist said that Ford won because of her. She urged her supporters to list Ford as the second choice....and no one else after that. Even though she'd lost, it's still a good thing because now more people had taken notice of her.
  24. Personal attacks has now become the norm. It's just another day in politics.......and it's lost most of its sting. What's the first thing that comes to mind now when someone is being attacked? Must be.......FAKE NEWS.
