As for wealthy women achieving the Big O more often... I think it's because a wealthy woman is more secure in herself and can choose to stay or leave a relationship. A poor woman is going to stay with a man because she needs him financially, orgasm be damned, the kids need to eat!

Oh no, I never thought that priest became pehophiles. Pedophiles become priests so that they can access their prey without any interference. I feel for those parents (and the abused children) who put their trust in a priest only to have that trust betrayed. As the church is in a position of authority, not only over children, but over their parents as well, it makes these pedophiles who've infiltrated the church even worse. How does the church weed these people out? How do you tell if a young man going into the clergy is actually a pedophile?

At what age would you cease to kill the 21 yo guy in your daugher's life. Not to mention she'd grow up without a dad as you'd be in jail... Anyhoo.. when I was 16 I met the man I would marry two years later. He was 21 when we met. Although we divorced a few years in, he certainly was not a pervert. He was only 21. Boys mature slower than girls. My 13 yo son is still very much a boy who plays with leggo etc. My niece at 13 considered herself too old to play anymore. At 16 I was just as "mature" as my 21 year old man -- who was still living at home when we met. Of course, this was in 1981. Kids grew up faster than they do today. On the other hand. 4 years ago my then 17 year old niece met a 28 yo man (he looked 20). We found out later that he was married after he died (won't go into reasons here) that he was 28. We also found out the niece was pregnant. Now she has a 3 year old to raise on her own. Her first sexual experience and she was used by a pervert and ended up with a baby. Poor kid, she was absolutely head over heels in love with this loser. If her dad would've known he was 28, he would've killed him -- maybe he did! Edited to add: Yes I agree that homosexuality should not be pushed as an optional lifestyle choice. If yer gay yer gay, but we don't need anyone telling our sons and daughters they are gay before they even are old enough to have a sexual urge.

The men that would want to "initate" a youngster into sex probably isn't all that secure in himself and a virgin would not know that he is terrible in the sack, whereas a real woman would. He is trying to hide his own inadequacies. Any real man would not want a partner that would lie there like a piece of wood. A real man would want a partner who could fully participate in the act.

I'm not sure if it's been changed yet -- I hope so. It was 16 when I was young. I remember being 15 and wanting this one guy soooo bad --he was 21. He would NOT go out with me. I respect him for it now, but I hated him for it then. No I don't agree that 14 falls under the "pedophile" category. A 14 yo can look like a 20 yo. Many do. A pedophile wants an undeveloped child's body, not one that looks like an adult's. As for homosexual men going after 14 yo boys, they are just as sick as the hetro men who go after 14 yo girls. For a woman being in a secure relationship and being at peace with her own body are the keys to having orgasms. As a young woman I rarely had them. Now that I am middle age, in secure relationship and happy about the way I look I have 'em all the time! :jumping up and down happy icon: I'm scoring about 90% for the last few years. But that doesn't mean we have sex daily. Life is so very busy that sex gets put lower on the list than it should. Also, for a woman (for me at least) I have to be in the right frame of mind. No amount of physical stimulation will do anything if I'm not in the mood mentally.

The age of consent has to be some age. Why not 16? 14 is too young I agree. An older person (gay or straight) who has sex with a person of 16 is a pervert, not a pedophile. I no longer watch "House" because the script writers could have written in their that he rejected her, but they didn't. He accepted her advances and in a future episode will **ck her. What I am saying is that it is acceptable in our society for an older man to desire a much younger woman. I wasn't using it as a "back up" but as an example of this acceptance. I take it by your "whatever" that you really don't care if priests abuse children -- you really don't care that the church (Ratzinger) covers it up. Geez Betsy, I thought you were "for" family values? I don't know about you, but my family values include protecting innocent children from predators, no matter who they are. Actually he does not have to "report" it to the ex-wife but to the Family Maintenance Enforcement office. They (and the courts) will then determine whether or not his support (child support) payments should increase. And yes, of course they should. His children (HIS!) deserve more support if he is making good coin. On the same token, if his income decreases then so should his child support payments. He and the Family Maintenance Enforcement office should have made arrangements for automatic payment (ie. post dated cheques) while he was on his tour. Did he think he'd be able to find a TD Bank or ATM in Iraq? I won't get into it now (because you are sooo filled with hatred toward women - you don't own a gun do you? ) but I am an advocate for father's rights and believe that our courts are biased toward the mother in custody agreements. This does not, however, change the fact that the child is entitled to support from the non-custodial parent (usually the father).

I was watching a show the other night (American) and a lady says "foyer". No, she doesn't pronounce it foyay (it IS a french word) She prounounced it Foier. I laughed.
