  1. Absolutely. Mobile university students, recent immigrants etc. are not noted for their Conservative leanings. Yet again the Tories have borrowed an American Republican tactic and passed legislation to suppress their opponents from exercising the most basic of rights - voting.
  2. How do you think Canada's soon to be confirmed current recession will affect Conservative's 27% support?
  3. Politics has many ironies. Who would guess the party convicted of election fraud in three back to back federal elections would engage in voter suppression on the basis of preventing voter fraud?
  4. Conservative unpopularity will soon plumb new depths once the current recession is confirmed.
  5. A fresh EKOS poll released today and it's not good news for Conservatives. As predicted here, the Del Mastro walk of shame in leg irons took it's toll - Conservative support down 1.5%. Liberal Party slide gone - support up 2%. NDP in the lead with 30.9% support - up .5% in a week. NDP- 30.9 (+.5%) Cons - 27.3 (-1.5%) Libs - 25.6 (+2.0%) Biggest change? The narrative of Trudeau fading is replaced with weakness in the Conservative's base. Cons now 12% behind their 2011 finish.
  6. According to the latest EKOS numbers, 2% of Conservatives would consider moving to Rhodesia if the socialists form a majority.
  7. American states like Colorado now rake billions in revenues overseeing pot sales while dinosaurs in Harper's cabinet howl with indignation over Vancouver's city council decision to regulate - and Vancouver city police's decision to not intervene - in local pot outlets. Yes, American Republican values run rampant in this forum - just look what happened to one of their heroes today when Donald Trump was fired by NBC for his racist comments on Mexicans. Not so subtle racism - a problem with some Conservative posters here.
  8. We can easily be headed for a minority outcome and any type of minority gov't is bad news for Conservatives. Only 31/2 months left before an era passes.
  9. Harper is 61% behind Mulcair in terms of leadership approval (-30% vs. +31%). How do you suppose Conservatives will turn that around?
  10. Speaking of platform planks, Liberals announced today the end of fossil fuel federal subsidies. Taken together with the announcement today in Vancouver of the party's environmental policy, it shows a serious attempt to counter NDP popularity in BC - now over 50% in two successive polls.
  11. So these numbers don't include Del Mastro's walk of shame. The actual Conservative figures are, likely, (1-2%?) lower.
  12. Good point. Conservatives continue to slide despite considerable resources dedicated to anti-Trudeau ads, Maybe this explains the new ISIS beheading ads - an attempt to send voters cowering under their beds.
  13. Two wrongs don't make a right indeed, especially when one of the miscreants was elected to curtail such near illegal activity. Conservatives promised to clean it up - they didn't. We know the Conservatives and Liberals can't contain themselves on this problem, it's time to give the NDP a turn at governing.
  14. The impending demise of a tired old-line political party.
  15. So Conservative third party ad misfortune means anti-Harper ads should also be shut down. Typical Conservative reasoning.
  16. I want to see a national poll taken after Dean Del Mastro, Harper's parliamentary secretary, was led away in leg irons and handcuffs. That it will impact the Tories is a given, the question is by how much.
  17. And those 2,000 respondents were interviewed before Dean Del Mastro, Harper's parliamentary secretary, was marched across the evening news in leg irons and handcuffs. Conservatives are 13% back from their 2011 finish, the NDP 5% above. Quebec now shows 41% NDP and this is the second poll in a row to report a substantial NDP lead in BC. The next EKOS numbers should be interesting.
  18. With the possible exception of Pierre Poilievre, there can't be a more deserving Conservative for public humiliation than Dean Del Mastro.
  19. Wait a minute....now I remember, you posted similar anti-NDP ravings the night of the recent Alberta election. So you have moved your paranoia from the Alberta forum site to here instead of moving out of the country - what a pity.
  20. Did the sight of Dean Del Mastro, Harper's parliamentary secretary, in leg irons and handcuffs rattle you?
  21. I take no satisfaction in watching a grown man cry, however, I must point out a set of numbers from today's Forum poll. On the question of leadership - approve or disapprove - here are the results: Mulcair: +31 Trudeau +1 Harper -30 All the policy questions in the world pale next to your leader's unpopularity.
  22. Where is Derek 2.0 and his even handed poll analysis?
  23. If the shoe was on an opposition member's foot, Conservative headquarters would be scrambling to produce an attack ad. The opposition parties can do no less.
  24. Another example of Harper's poor judgement in his appointments.
  25. Extrapolating the Forum's latest numbers on the new 338 Parliament gives this result: NDP: 149 Cons: 116 Libs: 65 Bloq 3 Green: 1 The trend is away from the Conservatives.
