I suggest ANYTHING in ANY category of life that has a dime of public funds involved is public information and should be available at the drop of a hat to anyone who asks. I also believe anything shown by the CBC and APTN should have viewership ratings and numbers available immediately upon request. The party would be over quickly if such information were available and it certainly should be if a dime of public money is involved - which is the case.

Why the sea of government “arts” funding logos after every show? I just asked and when they don’t answer I suspect we know the score. If it’s all “out there” then a clear budget and source of public revenue contribution should be easy and quick to provide. I’m certainly not the only one asking politely. It seems every movie or sitcom filmed in or produced in Canada has the same sea of assorted government logos (usually POTawa, OntariOWE and PAYbec). I see none of this on US produced shows. Why?

I sent a very polite email to APTN network a month ago asking about the source of their annual funding and their total annual operating budget. I expect of course they are a taxpayer funded welfare child in the national interests of “culture” and “inclusion”. Whose interests? I received an automatic reply that the message was received and would be relayed to the appropriate department. One month and no response so I’ve turned it over to my MP and the PMO in POTawa, the later of which will toss it and call me a racist.

Exactly, but especially more-so to the person having the mental difficulty. THEY are the one’s deeming it apparently “important” so that’s naturally going to invite other opinion from those who want the individual to get the mental help they need. This is because we’re a caring and compassionate society. Gender can never change. A mentally ill person can even saw their pee pee off, but they cannot change their chromosomes. Male are XY and female are XX. It’s painful for others to see such a pointless suffering.

The Olympics haven't done themselves any favours in recent years with so much childhood silliness now being considered medal "sports", but the so-called freight train of "transgender" indoctrination will finish them as more and more men compete in more and more women's sports. We'll go blind from the asterisks cluttering every column of results. We're not going to make it are we?

My position has nothing to do with gender inequality. I consider it a female child's schoolyard game. It is not a grown man's sport. I don't care what adult women do but if it's soccer, play until there's a winner decided in the normal course of play. Also, I was clear that I disagree with penalty shots in ANY circumstance aside from in the course of normal play. Regular season hockey games should be played until there's a winner in normal play. Shoot-outs to decide a winner in ANY sport are silly.

Actually, what they won was the women’s penalty kick gold. They failed to score in actual live play in regulation where their only goal was on a penalty kick. Then they prevailed in penalty kicks to decide it. In actual live play of the game of soccer, Sweden prevailed 1-0. This is one of so many reasons I can never take soccer seriously, not unlike the shoot out in regular season hockey. Play the game until there’s a winner, just like the NHL during playoffs. Soccer is a girls school yard recess pastime. ? *ducks*

I was in advertising, design and copy writing for 35 years. People should be reminded that daily newspapers and their respective websites are written to a Grade 5 reading level. That is our world of education and intelligence.

I figure my groceries are up 30% in the past year but I’m on a fixed income. I keep swallowing it everywhere and I have little left to give. Forget a social life. That was gone long ago. I see the "information age" as simply indoctrinating people. With a life long career in advertising I initially thought the juggernaut was aimed at youth but I'm observing weak and otherwise helpless adults falling for it. They don't even know how they're being bought and sold. Very sad.

I’ll say it again. DNA doesn’t lie. It’s one or the other and I don’t see male Lions thinking they’re female adopting cubs and pretending they’re a “family”. We need to stop making excuses for mental illness and focus on getting help where needed rather than folding the tents for every silly folly that blows in the wind. Bruce Jenner can peacock all he likes and even saw off his pee pee, but he’s a male with male DNA.

For the most part I have no interest at all in women over 30 with very few exceptions. I consider 18-22 to be the prime window and to be honest, the 16 year olds resemble the 21 year olds when I was in University. All of this is of course why I’m single at 61 and have been for 20 years. I highly doubt ANY sane woman has ANY interest in me so it all balances out nicely. It’s just better this way for all concerned. I can buy any motorcycle stuff I want and drink orange juice straight out of the jug.

Cancel Culture is real and upon us. We continue to flood in despots from the wrong countries rather than English speaking professionals from clearly logical points of origin. Riding transit, I rarely hear English spoken (and why do they all yell?). If I were to move permanently to say Italy, it's utterly ridiculous to imagine I would go not speaking Italian or at least fast track learning it once there so as to fit in and coexist. Even worse, the children of these migrants, ones born here are speaking Farsi, Arabic and Mandarin and being encouraged to do so by I assume their parents. I consider this almost child abuse given future educational and employment goals HERE. In effect, they're creating a ghetto amongst themselves. If they insist on living in the old country they should have stayed there in the first place.
