Aaaaaannnd it’s the “Freaky Friday Update” update! All the unexpected happenings that occurred in the last few days or more can go here! I’ll start!
They are opening the Coquihalla Highway next Monday, that’s at least 2 weeks early! Essential traffic only, but the #3 highway will open up to all traffic instead of essential only.
which means we’ll be driving to Alberta for Christmas after all.

‘K, just one more thing. Omicron. Am I right? Yeah, they are saying that it’s presently vaccine resistant. I swear I’m not making this up. The CDC reports that 76% of new cases are fully vaxxed. Yeah.
But since it’s the mildest variant yet, no one is dying, relatively speaking. We may get our old school herd immunity after all.
