  1. To all those advocating Canada needs skilled labour, what better way is there to accomplish this RATHER than allow public servants to allow into this country any immigrant that happens to meet conditions under the current law utilizing 'objective criteria'. 'Objective criteria' process of course is flawed and leaves the skilled immigrants Canada requires lost in the masses of immigrants wanting to immigrate to Canada. How any national federal party can object to this must have there own secret immigration agenda they are not telling Canadians about. http://www.thestar.com/News/Canada/article/350074
  2. Why shoudn't he, Mulroney is a Quebecer. The liberals (basically in the past a Quebec party) have developed and devised a political system built on culture rather than Canadianism and Harper is now forced to cater to that Liberal political ideology if he wishes to continue to play dysfunctional Canadian politics. I gather he chooses to cater to power which includes playing dysfunctional Canadian politics. I truly am disappointed in Harper and at least wish he would support a referendum on whether or not Canadians wish to retain Quebec in confederation, vs. promoting a revolution to free Canada of this evil province.
  3. Are you unaware that City of Ottawa councillors are all socialist. That is why mayor O'Brien doesn't fit in and is why the whole lot of them should be fired. Regardless I find O'Brien, at the other end of the spectrum, being to pro-buisness like. It does seem hard to get competent municiple politicians in Ottawa.
  4. To bad Canada is so backward when it comes to releasing crime and race statistics like most other civilized countries. Relating to the U.S.: http://elliotlakenews.wordpress.com/2007/01/07/crime-race/
  5. British heritage is responsible for the U.S. and Canadian White, Christian English speaking culture and traditons which we have further developed to an all around U.S/Canadian culture. No doubt Western culture is fully reponsible for Canada's success, up to now, since Canadian politicians have reneged on the majority White, Christian, English speaking Canadians and are turning the country into cesspool of uncoperating foreign divisive minority cultures. B.S., White Candian culture is alive and well otherwise I probably would not be a majority White, Christian, English speaking Canadian with all the other developed cultural manifestations and traditons that we believe in and practice everyday. Don't worry Drea Quebec is assimilated except for their language which they use as a cultural weapon against the ROC to benefit its nationalistic ideologies. Other minority cultures are right in line waiting to reap what Quebec has reaped. Drea, you are a traitor to Canada and its majority culture and its vibrant British history.
  6. Obviously you are familiar with the arrogance of nationalistic Quebecers.
  7. I live in Ottawa and am fully familiar with the oppressive nature of our undemocratic, discriminatory federal government. Anyone to make that kind of statement after what has been said is obviously disassociated with the true political reality of Canada or is a French propagandist.
  8. Not all White, but I would say 83% being White would qualify the statement that the majority of Canadians are White and Christian ( 77.1% being Christian). This is a fact I can handle very well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada It does not matter if Canadians are of British decent. What matters is that our constitution was given to us by the British establishing our form of government with Canada being both a Costitutional Monarchy and a Parliamentry Democracy moulded after the British system of government in which we inherited and emulated many major aspects of British culture. That is why our English language is our language of commerce and is the majority common language of Canada and WHY it is not French or any other language. Quebec would not survive without federal subsidies as its minority culture is incapable of providing employment for residents of that province and also would fail as a country if they ever did separate. The ROC feeds Quebec and culturally and financially, has done very well for itself. Bill 101 otherwise known as the 'French Charter' as been kept alive by Quebec by repeatedly by renewing the 'Notwithstanding Clause ' every five years, which by the way is done by the powers of the federal government, who corruptly and undemocratically approves this request. This of course discriminates against all English speaking Canadians and flies in the face of the federal governments own 'Charter of right and Freedoms'. "The greater scheme of things" lead by dysfunctional governments is what makes this country so damn corrupt. Talk about ignorance. We would not have a country if it were not for the White, English speaking, Christian British who gave us the country and the BNA Act. No one knows how the space that Canada and the U.S. occupies, without the British, would have politically evolved.
  9. That depends how you interpret it. Generally speaking, anything from MD is no joke but is written to belittle. In this case with the emphasis being on 'official languages' in which anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows the value of official languages as being totally worthless, designed by corrupt politicians for the advancement of French ideologies. Obviously MD believes in advocating official languages as part of his gig, which I don't think is amusing, especially when it relates to racial discrimination.
  10. French an obsolete language in Quebec has only survived because of the massive infusion of federal subsidies, including the Charter (the good part relating to Quebec) a result of totally corrupt traitorous politicians. Canada, multiculturally speaking, is primarily an English speaking, Christian MAJORITY society. It is obvious you cannot handle that and are envious of that FACT.
  11. If Harper had any guts he would be promoting a revolution rather than being held hostage to the Liberal/Quebec game.
  12. At least be man enough to explain WTF you are talking about before we write you off as a complete nut case.
  13. I don't have to. Official languages only relate to the corrupt federal government and its entities. Mapleleafweb is not under federal jurisdiction. I choose to use the English language anywhere I wish, official or NOT. The English language discriminates against no one, it is the majority free flowing language of Canada. If you don't know it, learn it.
  14. No, not to unilaterally SOCIAL engineer it. This is along the lines of communism. B.S., that is what referendums are for and the federal government, legally can use them, but because of the dysfunctional nature of Canadian politics (English vs. French ideologies) chooses to abuse and oppress Canadian citizens by choosing undemocratically and unilaterrally to implement policies (even the Charter) using its own legislative authority. I for one do not wish to be held accountable to traitors who still wish to carry on the war of 'Plains of Abraham' and fail to recognize their place in society. SAYS WHO? Canada can be a nation without Quebec and would be much wealthier and be able to culturally advance from its current dysfunctional corrupt political linguistic state. There is artifically, because Quebec has been federally subsidized to discriminate against the normal migration of the English majority to live in Quebec. Don't you understand that Quebec is being allowed, as a province to behave in the same manner as an oppressive NAZI regime and that is to rule on the basis of culture. Ther is no doubt in my mind our federal government is corrupt as they come. They are! Language is a component of race, so Quebec discriminates. There is no hypocrisy. English is the majority language of Canada....French is NOT. Outside of racially discriminating under the guise of being equal...no. Legitimately?.....who else, the federal government. The federal government is corrupt. I think they already have been cleary spelled out. Again, the federal government is corrupt.
  15. All provinces are NOT OFFICIALLY UNILINGUAL, throughout the entire province except racist Quebec which is 'officially unilingual French' throughout the entire province.
  16. 5 a:, is a main primary definition? Still it does not define lanuage as being all important that detirmines ones overall culture. Culture does not develop with language and cuture is not soley based on language. Quebec culture is primarily the same as any other province in Canada and has been culturally assimilated by Canadian/American majority culture. Even the French obsolete language would not exist if it were not heavily subsidized by the federal government.
  17. There is no English speaking minority in Quebec. It is an illusion and only appears the English language is a minority language in Quebec because of Quebec's racist language laws. Quebec is not a country, it is a province in the country of Canada making Quebec's French language a minority language in comparison to Canada's majority English language. Again, you are promoting Quebec's racist language laws to favour a linguistic superiority over the English language in Quebec. And besides, Quebec's 'official monolingualism' was implemented by Quebec's own provincial government and is NOT recognized as being 'official' by Canada's federal governmet, the government that rules the land. This of course raises embarrissing questions relating to federal discrimination against the English speaking population in Canada.
  18. Now I know you have NO CONCEPT relating to the word DISCRIMINATION by a government via a "PLAN", by abusing its legislative powers.
  19. Its thumbs down to that to relating to marriage and religion. Maybe reruns of the Plouffe family will encourage a return to marital stability and a return of the good old days in Quebec when families of 6-8 or more were fairly common.
  20. Human achievement and advancement and the rest of what I said relate very closely to the actual defintion of culture. The Concise Oxford dictionary defines culture primarily as :
  21. Certaintly! Canada being a smaller country, health care cost would be more expensive making doctors, nurses, very happy. Yes they do, but the demand does not compare to doctors and nurses. In other private U.S. sectors of employment, there is a lot of competition, so you have to be pretty good to break into their market, whatever your line of employment is. The U.S. system looks after those without health insurance just like those who have insurance policies, the terms vary and as a result even with health care policies some receive better health care than others. Who says life is fair?
  22. I agree, but nevertheless the U.S. acts as a magnet to attract members of the medical profession, leaving the cupboards bare in Canada. But I am rather puzzled by the pompous attitude of many Canadians, that they should be so deserving of the most advanced health care procedures for FREE. And how in a public health care system can you morally implement medical procedure restrictions without howling protest? This is why I think a private system similar to the U.S. is the way to go.
  23. Those without health coverage are directed to county hospitals for treatment. But be advised...apparently there are limits on procedures available, i.e. no heart transplants or similar major surgery.
  24. Bilingualism is being force fed federally. If the French language had any credibility it would be self sustaining, be an influence on English society and in turn flow freely, creating a bilingual nation, rather than being dictated by federal and provincial forces. Obviously you do not believe in assimilation. The majority culture is forced to cater to no one, unless orf course like here in Canada by the forces of its own governments making it totally discriminatory. It appears by what the Bloc said would be in agreement of harsher linguistic implemented laws outside of Quebec to ensure the survival of French communities. Two items. One referendum relating to the acceptance of bilingualism both inside and outside the jurisdiction of federal authorities. And another referendum relating to the abusive powers of provincially legislated preference over the wishes of the residents, relating to the acceptance of bilingual policies within a majority English speaking province.
  25. I agree with you Rue. But then is it not the invention of equality rights, that that ignites racial/cultural fires and is the source of cultural animosity and divisiveness?
