  1. Assimilation is good for the economy and makes it easier to obtain things like employment. A mixed cultural country makes patronage to ones country almost impossible as the political and cultural animosity is always present. I fear what traitorous PM's did to this country out of fictitious non existent rights.
  2. Canadians are certainly NOT the result of promiscuous Aboriginals (Metis). The British gave us the country of Canada and the country was built basically by White, Christian immigrants who spoke English or learned English and who are still the majority. And it is not hard to understand why Britain wanted to unload the Canada they gave us.
  3. All Canadians were always allowed to speak in any language they prefer. Prior to Liberal imposed socialist language and cultural policies ALL or most immigrants assimilated. Just a dumb Canadian. You are the result of your past families immigrating to Canada. If they did not immigrate to Canada you would not be here. Canadian companies employ all kinds of temporary foreign workers who are eager and happy to be exploited. A quote from Cicero: "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. "But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. "A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague." The rest of your post is the same old Canadien crapola.
  4. No one ever prevented Quebecers from speaking. But then you could never understand that Quebecers were British subjects and failed to assimilate, like mostly all other immigrants. Previously non-Whites had no interest in coming to Canada as their countries were not in political turmoil and they very well knew Canada was a mainly White, English speaking, Christian country. No you have not but nevertheless agreed but never debated that issue. I believe in referendums when it comes to important issues like language laws and amendments to our constitution relating to culture and language laws. This is not dictatorial or racist. Our elected representatives are supposed to provide Canadians MP representation, which they don't or they would have referendums to establish citizen concern. MP's tow the party line which is the same as a dictatorial government. If referendums were used, laws would be based on the result of these referendums. I want a defense against French minority rule---especially relating to language and culture. And referendums are NOT against the law. Not relating to a province that never signed our constitution. This is despite what politicians have to say about that issue. Not your facts.
  5. You post conflicting statements that don't reflect francophone political realities. Your views are that of an Ontario francophone. Your facts are that you agree that Quebec's dictatorial racist language laws and Quebec's official French language are (in your own words), horse ma****. This is what I basicly think also but have stronger views. You are in agreement with federal dictatorial language and cultural policies and language and cultural ammendments to our constitution. I do not share those views. This in reality is a difference of opinion. And in Quebec they are Quebecer's first and adhere to a strict cultural and language agenda and are Canadian secondly. It is nice to hear you are a Canadian. So am I. So what is it I don't get?
  6. Let them go back to France and join their friends. Beg somemore socialist swine. I know the Pontiac quite well and mostly they are all English speaking Canadians. You must be confused with Gatineau Quebec. There is a lot of real French Creole in that city.
  7. And to think it was I who suggested you were just plain dumb. A dormant mother tongue constitutes absolutely nothing. If it is so sweet then let the province of Quebec pay for it rather than all of the tax payers of Canada. Forty million per year is not cheap. Let Quebec pursue it's perpetual cultural aspirations rather than burden the ROC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haitian_Creole_language
  8. I guess everyone figured they would be harmless and keep to themselves with their Quebec Act. But to-day we know differently----they want CANADA. Now we have to pacify them with cash..kind of like letting a chapter of some bike gang to move into town and we give them cheap affordable houseing. Thanks to a string of PM's from Quebec and those socialist Liberals previously stuffed with Quebec MP's who set the stage for Quebec. Minorities rule. This is dysfunctional politics at it's best.
  9. What an asinine statement. You know very well that if it were not for Quebec, Canada would not be a member of la Francophonie. You must also know that Canada with a 13.3% francophone population that speaks only speaks French does not anywhere near meet the definition of a francophone nation. http://wapedia.mobi/en/Canada?t=10.#11. Canada also contributes approximately $40 million per year to the International Organization of La Francophonie and Francophone institutions. http://www.international.gc.ca/franco/index.aspx This is a total waste of tax payer resources that are so badly needed in other areas of Canadian society such as health care and pensions and most other federal programs that are so badly underfunded. It is also intereting to note that although French is an official language of Haiti, it is only spoken by 5% of the population. Ninety-five percent of the population of Haiti speaks Haitian Creole. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_official_language_of_Haiti
  10. Youu are continuing to be just plain dumb. Read and heed, if you can. http://www.crwflags.com/FOTW/FLAGS/int-frp.html QUEBEC (CANADA)----Get it! And also Canada (New Brunswick) http://www.crwflags.com/FOTW/FLAGS/int-frp.html
  11. No, according to history. So tell us then. What did France have to do with Canada or the building of Canada after the British won Cananda?
  12. Canada should have known better before signing a potentially volatile and divisive agreement relating to the creation of la Francophonie. Even French minorities from other Canadian provinces felt they were betrayed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada%E2%80%93France_relations The bottom line is Quebec is not a country and should never have been allowed to participate in la Francophonie since Canada was already a member with the Commonwealth of Nations.
  13. When you say Canada, in this particular instance, you are saying federal government and not all of the provinces nor the citizens of Canada. The federal government basically spoke for Quebec and New Brunswick regarding la Francophonie. If the feds want to behave in an irresponsible manner you end up with a dysfunctional government. But get use to it as this is pretty much the story of Canada.
  14. The only problem is that they did not colonize enough. http://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/Canada The claim to North America was made by England and explorer John Cabot. http://www.histori.ca/minutes/minute.do?id=10122
  15. Canada is a founding member of what? If you mean Quebec and New Brunswick is one of the founding members of la Francophonie, say it. The last I heard Quebecers are Canadians and their allegiance should lie with the country that gave them Canada and the Quebec Act, Britain. Their mission also includes the promotion of democracy and human rights which is the same agenda as the 'Commonwealth of Nations' who they are trying to clone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organisation_internationale_de_la_Francophonie
  16. You are talking early history and has nothing to do with the Canada we know since confederation. It was Britain who won Canada and gave us the country. France deserted their own people.
  17. La Francophonie is the brainchild of France and Haiti is part of Francophonie nations. Canada is already a member of the Commonwealth of Nations and provides and provides support to those countries that are members. Haiti is not a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. Our allegiance lies with Britain and not France as France never did have anything to do with Canada or the building of Canada. Why should Canada burden it's tax payers with the cultural ideologies and aspirations of a foreign country like France and the countries it harbours in it's la Francophonie organization. This of course has nothing to do with Canada providing quake assistance which is another issue.
  18. Thanks Smallc, but I am already fully aware of that being the case. I wonder how our old age pensioners think of this situation. There are many who cannot afford to eat or live properly and who's diet sometimes consist of canned cat food and living in a cockroach infested apartment.
  19. Thanks to Quebec and their association with France and la Francophonie Canadian tax payers are on the hook for 555 million dollars. How a minority have not province like Quebec can influence the federal government to be part of and support la Francophonie is beyond my comprehension. Perhaps we should be looking looking after our own before looking after other foreign countries cultural ideologies.
  20. How do you know? How one writes does not necessarily means he or she speaks the same way. President Obama can turn, on or off, the negro dialect depending on who the audience is. Looks like Mr. Reid was half right.
  21. And Rue follows the socialist viewpoint that there are really no bad people in society, but are those who are just simply misunderstood. Hear that Mr. Harper, nullify all laws in Canada as Rue says they are not required as we are a nation of simply misunderstood people. Canada is a large majority English speaking, Christian country. Most immigrants prior to Quebcec's Trudeau immigration and multiculturalism policies and a Charter, were derived from a multitude of compatible pro Western countries. These immigrants were of basically, different Christian denominations and those who did not speak the English language quickly learned it and freely assimilated into Canadian society. Hogwash. Obviously you do not know the definition of inbreeding. But if you want to make a closer comparison to inbreeding, then I would look no further than those living in Quebec society and those living in ethnic communities.
  22. I hate to bust your bubble but Canadians have been Americanized many years ago. How do you know Canadians like our health care system? Just because some politicians might brag about Canadians liking our heath care system. The point is Canadians were never asked to participate by way of a national referendum whether or not a socialistic health care system is the way to go. I think myself, the only reason were have a socialistic health care system is because of the Liberals and Quebec. Americans could have taken the same route to ensure the Black population and other low wage earners receive adequate medical care.
