  3. Women in any profession need to work twice as hard to get half as far as men in life. Generally speaking, although women can manage they can't lead in a universal gender sense. Examples of men demonstrating raw leadership goes back eons. How odd that women are more critical of female leaders than men.

  5. Project is moving at light speed - first delivery is 2035. Doubtful anyone remembers the Oberon Class Submarines - purchased from the Brits they provided invaluable training support for the Destroyer squadrons in perfecting close anti-submarine action. What was even more impressive was the maintenance support provided by HM Dockyard in Halifax. Extremely skilled civilian support provided scheduled maintenance. The subs might have been RN retreads but they were efficient, well maintained and a respected force. That infrastructure support disappeared with the O-boats. To get it back will take generations - providing the will is there. The thing you need to remember when it comes to subs is that they will kill the crew very quickly if they're not properly maintained and crewed. A surface ship can tolerate a degree of complacency re: operations / maintenance - not subs! I can't begin to imagine how Canada will ever get a degree of proficiency in a realm that is so complex, expensive. and very dangerous.

      Definitely, especially since he went for ceasefires prior to 2022 and western Ukraine just used it to build up its army to once again attack the Donbass rebels once again. In fact, they attacked the Donbass region just days before Putin finally decided to attack Ukraine.   16. I suppose it could be said that the so-called Palestinian people are complicit in supporting Hamas? Are not Netanyahu's actions strategic in pursuit to getting the Israel hostages released? Could not this so-called genocide have been stopped if Hamas had released the hostages? People have strange concepts concerning war - it's not a game of 'pickup'? Was Bomber Command in WWII guilty of genocide? How about the U.S. 8th Airforce? How about Dresden or Hiroshima / Nagasaki? I laugh when I hear Hamas should be credited with getting the World's attention - that is true to a point but it's far more Israel that thru scaring the bejesus out of the so-called free World that got the World's attention. The degree of destruction that Israel laid out in Gaza gives pause to any repeat............ but there will be a repeat. You see, the West is complicit in what happened in Gaza - the complacency encouraged it. The next one will be far worse, only much broader and let's not forget, Israel is the 3rd most potent military on the planet.
